The Leela Mumbai - Resort Style Business Hotel

Dear The Leela, Mumbai Management, I would like to extend my sincere thanks to your Chef Kamlesh Choubey and Chef Milan at the Great Wall for the exceptional service during our recent stay and the exceptional dining experience - all overseen by Executive Chef Chakraborty. My family and I have been lucky enough to visit many countries and have stayed in numerous luxury hotels but our recent experience at The Leela, Mumbai (Airport) merits special mention. From the moment we arrived, they were attentive, professional, and genuinely kind. I was especially grateful for the care and thought given to our special dietary requirements - Vegetarian, Gluten-Free meals. The chef took the time to ensure our meals were not only suitable but also delicious, and all the waiters made us feel completely at ease by checking in and making sure everything was perfect. This level of attention and hospitality made a real difference to our experience and reflects very highly on your team. Please pass along our appreciation to all members of your team—they truly went above and beyond. The waiting staff at both venues were also truly wonderful. Thank you again for such a memorable and positive experience.

The hotel staff feel like you've walked into a government office from the 90's. Feel like you're dealing with governmet employees kinda vibe. Rooms are old but well maintained and the overall old school charm of the hotel is really nice. Splush marble flooring everywhere and a strong solid build. Would recommend the 6 degree bar for a few. We got a lovely 50% discount when it came to paying the bill and were pleasently surprised. The gym is one of the best I've seen around the world! For a hotel gym, it's pretty well equipped. Other than the actual attitude of the staff and also the over whelming of the staff that are appointed to stand in the lobby loo to assist you etc. the overall experience was nice. They did goof up our poolview booking and said that we were upgraded to a higher catagory but it didn't feel like anything special.

We had a wonderful two-week stay at The Leela Hotel. Jamavar restaurant served excellent food, and breakfast each morning was very enjoyable, especially thanks to Jia, who was always welcoming with a smile. The gym facilities were clean and well maintained, and the supervisor was very helpful. We stayed in a suite on the 7th floor as part of the Royal Club and received great service throughout our stay, including daily room cleaning, fresh sheets, and well-stocked water. The room was slightly dated, but the bed was comfortable and allowed for a good night’s sleep. A special mention to the pianist, Mr Williams, who was kind and entertaining and added to the overall experience. Overall, we would happily stay here again and would recommend it as a convenient place to stay near Mumbai Airport.

I had a very pleasant staycation here. Despite it being peak Christmas weekend and the hotel being fully booked, everything was extremely well managed and never felt overcrowded. The service quality was impeccable, and the staff were consistently warm and kind. I especially enjoyed the breakfast spread, and the view from my room overlooking the pool made me forget that I was in Bombay! The poolside area was sizeable, and the lush greenery around it made the whole setting feel surreal. A special thanks to managers Akshit and Abhishek for all the help!

Our stay at The Leela Mumbai was truly wonderful. We've stayed there for one night but the property is conveniently located and very easy to reach. We ordered Jain food, which was served fresh and was excellent in taste. While the service experienced slight delays at times, it was overall well worth the wait. A special mention goes to our host, "Shardda", who was extremely kind and thoughtful. As it was our parents’ anniversary, she graciously arranged a cake for us, which made the celebration even more special. Thank you, "Shardda", for the lovely gesture. Overall, it was a very pleasant and memorable stay, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the property.

We stayed in The Leela Hotel for six nights and one extra night due to over flight was cancelled. Hotel location is just next to international Airport T2 which is very convenient for international travellers. Very warm welcoming by entire hotel staffs. Secure gate and very nice garden with lots of greenery. Easy check in and check out. Food was very nice and lots of choices for vegetarian during breakfast. Specially Mr. Ravi was excellent staff who specially came for us to provide us early breakfast beforeseven a.m. Dining in speciality restaurant Mr . Santosh and his entire staff was excellent. Very soothing excellent music which we enjoyed a lot. I wish they play more selected music everyday instead of playing same every day.|Piano player in lounge was brilliant and he played few selected songs for me on piano. We enjoyed our stay throughout and will definitely will stay in this hotel for during our next visit.|Check in and check out was very smooth and it was easy to do final hotel payment over on line through IFSC code provided to us by hotel. Communication before arrival was brillint and very quick.

Such a beautiful hotel with loads of greenery around. It doesn’t feel that you are in the busiest city like Mumbai. we had a small issue with the room allotted for us, when we raised the concerned, immediately Rohan and Raza were at our door with their staff and helped us to move to a better room. We also got a complimentary Dinner. Dinner was amazing with a wide spread at the buffet. Every dish was tasty and delicious. All the staff at the restaurant have taken personal care of us and served us with affection. At Concierge, Sandeep helped us to organise a guide to take us around Mumbai and so patiently messaged me and accepted our choice of preferences and place to visit. Shabbir guided us, and took us to all the famous tourist spots and the best place to eat and in the best mode of transport. Shabbir treated us like family, and we felt that one of our brother was accompanying us. Mahesh who cleaned our room and made it look at its best, had a lovely smile on his face. The staff at Leela gave a wonderful experience and proved us wrong with a pre assumed notion about Mumbai. We loved our stay at The Leela and Mumbai. An amazing architecture with a blend of tradition and modern twist to every corner of the hotel. The best experience.

2 stars only due to location. This place is all branding, zero substance. The spa experience was abysmal. The steam room was not working, yet we were made to wait over 30 minutes while the staff kept giving random excuses. Absolutely no accountability, no urgency, and the staff attitude was plain rude. For a so-called luxury hotel, this was embarrassing. The behavior and handling felt suspiciously like dark patterns — waste the guest’s time, keep deflecting, and hope they don’t question it. In-room dining was equally disappointing. Charging nearly ₹1,000 for a soup and serving it with stale bread and reduced quantity is outright insulting. Only after confronting them did they finally accept their mistake — which should never have happened in the first place. The overall stay was bad. Nothing about this hotel justifies the price they charge. We have stayed at far better hotels for much lower prices with polite staff, working facilities, and basic honesty. If you value your money, time, and peace of mind — look elsewhere. Plenty of hotels in Mumbai offer better service at half the cost.
