The Leela Mumbai - Resort Style Business Hotel

I had a very pleasant staycation here. Despite it being peak Christmas weekend and the hotel being fully booked, everything was extremely well managed and never felt overcrowded. The service quality was impeccable, and the staff were consistently warm and kind. I especially enjoyed the breakfast spread, and the view from my room overlooking the pool made me forget that I was in Bombay! The poolside area was sizeable, and the lush greenery around it made the whole setting feel surreal. A special thanks to managers Akshit and Abhishek for all the help!

My mum (66) and I (36) stayed at The Leela Mumbai this February, and it was easily the best hotel experience we’ve had in Mumbai.||From arrival, the staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive without being overbearing. We stayed in the Royal Club rooms, which included a separate check-in and access to the Royal Club Lounge. The lounge was a calm place to relax, especially during the evening drinks between 6–8pm. Breakfast was served at Jamavar instead of the main buffet, which made mornings feel much more relaxed. The complimentary airport transfers were also a great added bonus.||The service really sets this hotel apart. Having previously stayed at the Taj Palace Mumbai and JW Marriott Juhu, we can confidently say the level of care at The Leela was superior. It’s the main reason we’re returning again in just a few days.||A special thank you to Kevin from the Royal Club, who was consistently kind, professional, and attentive, and to Subhash and his breakfast team for going above and beyond, including arranging off-menu dishes for us.||Our stay was memorable and seamless, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Leela Mumbai. We’re very much looking forward to returning, on Christmas Day in fact!!

Hospitality, services and food quality at the Leela Mumbai has deteriorated severely. Staff are not welcoming and keep the guests waiting for hours for check in process and luggage transfer to room. They are not compassionate or hospitable if you are traveling with small baby. Whereas they promise that they will provide assistance. They are rude even if your baby is crying and your hv to leave your dinner buffet and go back to room. They will deny to send buffet food items to room. Staff is severely ignorant and dnt want to take responsibility of serving or showing hospitable gestures. Though I am a fan of Leela properties but change in ownership and management at top level can visibly be noticed in the service provided by the staff at lower level. Not worth calling 5 star or paying the high exorbitant price. Hope the services, quality of food that once Leela use to maintain will be maintained by the hotel in future

Very comfortable and spacious, had all the amenities for quick trip. Nothing bad to highlight. Airport is less than 10mins away. Very courteous, Gerald helped with CheckIn and made sure everything was smooth. Nothing rushed, good conversation and arranged within minutes. Staff at all levels represented Leela hospitality. Calm and peaceful inside room and outside. Spacious surroundings and green layout.

It’s always great to visit this hotel and enjoy their fine dining however during this trip we actually decided to stay at the hotel and enjoy their world class Service and hospitality. Of stayed in various hotels in In mumbai including the Taj & Trident however I must say that one must experience this hotel when visiting Mumbai. From the rooms to the decor and the exceptional customer service everything is not worthy and deserves 10 stars or more. I’ve always enjoyed the food at this hotel as well and how accommodating they are especially for room service. I highly recommend this hotel while staying in In Mumbai

The breakfast and lunch buffet used to be much nicer 6 years ago but it's still ok, maybe thats just a Mumbai thing. Staff is good, I got a chance to speak to some staff who have been working since long time, they are even better. I like the Green landscaping at this hotel, its grown even better from what it used to be. Overall I would recommend this place and wish they work on their buffet a bit. Thanks for a nice warm stay.

We booked three rooms two months in advance, specifically requesting adjacent rooms because we are traveling with two children and a disabled elderly parent. At check-in, we were told we were being “upgraded” to two presidential suites. In reality, this was not an upgrade at all. The suites were on two different floors . Each suite has only one bedroom, resulting in us being effectively downgraded from three bedrooms and three bathrooms to two bedrooms and two bathrooms. We were essentially short one bedroom and one bathroom, which is not acceptable for a family of our size and needs. This arrangement appears to have been done because the hotel was fully booked, and it felt like we were maneuvered into accepting a solution that worked for the hotel—not for us. To make matters worse, the presidential suites are highly inaccessible for someone with disabilities, making the situation even more challenging for my mother. The most disappointing part has been the staff response. There has been a noticeable lack of urgency, awareness, and sensitivity in handling the needs of guests with disabilities. We have been dealing with trying to make things right rather than have a pleasant holiday stay. Positives: the hotel is grand from the outside, with large corridors and open spaces, and it is conveniently close to the airport. However, aesthetics do not compensate for poor service and inadequate accommodation planning—especially when accessibility and family needs are involved.

The location is perfect—close to the airport yet incredibly peaceful once inside the property.The room was spacious, spotless, and elegantly designed, with comfortable bedding and all the amenities I needed. The staff deserve special appreciation: warm, attentive, and always ready to help without being intrusive. Check-in and check-out were smooth and quick.Dining was another highlight. The food at Citrus was exceptional, with great variety and excellent quality. Room service was prompt and well-presented.The hotel’s pool, gardens, and fitness center create a relaxing, resort-like atmosphere that makes it easy to unwind after a busy day.Overall, The Leela Mumbai provides a perfect mix of luxury, comfort, and hospitality. I would highly recommend it and would gladly stay here again.
