1. Dirty, used bedlinen on the bed when we were handed over the room.
Hair on pillows and quilt.
Crumpled sheets, clear body marks on pillows, quilt and sheet.
2. Took 03 remotes to get the AC operable.
3. Electric kettle not working . Had to be changed.
4. Attached glass study table missing.
5. Food : we've had breakfast only. Very basic.
Unsure whether we should have any more in-house meals from their restaurant, considering the terrible awful hygiene and sanitation that they displayed in the room. If this is the condition of a fresh room that's handed over to a new guest, I wonder what the state of hygiene in the kitchen is.
And this is a rs. 5000+ per night room that I'm referring to.
We chose this place since it is owned by a retired officer from the Indian Navy, who is a mountaineer and also an Arjuna and Padmabhushan awardee.
We are from the Indian Defense Services and wanted to enable a brother-officer's business initiative.
We actually cancelled our booking in Radisson Blu, just to show our solidarity towards a fellow Defense officer when we found out that it's a retired and decorated officer's endeavour !
It is a shame the way the way the staff is giving this retired and decorated officer a bad name. Extremely disrespectful towards this retired Naval officer who has built this hotel that is providing them with their salaries.
We're shocked by the awfully low standards of hygiene and sanitation and the complete dis-concern displayed. Only when we raised a hue and cry did they move us into a fresh and clean room with all the amenities in working order.
Does the late Capt. Kohli's son, Mr. Ravi Kohli, know how his late father's legacy is being shamed by his own staff ??
