"In crowded Chaweng Beach, this 26-room hotel’s high style attracts a stream of beachcombers (prepare to show your key to the hotel gatekeeper). The bloodred-tiled pool is the dramatic centerpiece, with huge pillows and daybeds beside it. High white walls and black-lacquer floors provide museumlike backdrops for Thai antiques. Clever touches—in-room iMacs; a choice of colors from the bedside light; two do not disturb signs, one of a person sleeping, the other clearly suggesting that the couple inside are not—make your stay memorable, as do the eager-to-please staff. The Thai fare at The Page is best enjoyed outdoors, with panoramic beach views. Despite the prevalent literary theme, the hotel keeps more glossy coffee table books than beach reads."

My family and I stayed here in late October/early November 2024. It was the perfect place to stay for a perfect family holiday. The hotel is top quality, our villa had a huge rain shower that great. We also had our own private pool that had speakers and an AV for playing our own music that was awesome. There was a happy hour every day from 5pm - 7pm where it was buy one, get one free and there was live music provided too. The mall was a short walk away which was handy. The hotel staff also really made the holiday so easy, they were super helpful with a special shout out to Dear who helped us on many occasions during our week long stay. We look forward to returning.

Words can’t explain how amazing our holiday was here. The architecture is so interesting, location is perfect (in the centre of the stunning beach, bars, restaurants, massage shops, markets etc), but still it is so tranquil with no noise, and the food especially breakfast is 10/10. Kudos to the staff running the hotel, from the ladies on reception, restaurant and bar, house keeping, security, everyone was so professional, kind and welcoming.

Our stay at THE LIBRARY was nothing short of exceptional. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The rooms were clean, spacious, and had a modern design, with thoughtful touches like beach towels available both in the room and at the beach when needed. We appreciated the relaxed atmosphere by the pool, where we could unwind without feeling pressured to order drinks. The à la carte breakfast had a wide range of delicious options, catering to all tastes. The beach itself was pristine and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Overall, this hotel is truly exclusive, and we left feeling completely satisfied. We’d definitely consider coming back!

My family and I had the pleasure of staying in The Library for a full week. We stayed in a villa which came with its own swimming pool that was perfect. We rarely had to leave the hotel for anything. The pool had speakers and an AV receiver to play our own music from which was so cool. The best meal of our stay in Koh Samui was also a dinner we had at the hotel. The breakfast was awesome every morning. The mall was a short walk from the hotel which was handy. The happy hour from 5pm-7pm was appreciated as was the live music on the beach. The staff around the hotel were all wonderful, with a special shout out to Dear who was so helpful on many occasions. We hope to come back for another stay.

Upscale hotel in Samui, the pool areas are great. Room could benefit from a little refurbishing even though they are still very beautiful. Not a 5 because of the breakfast (looks better than it tastes) and also price for value is not 100% justified, but yet a great hotel to stay !

This place will always have a special place in my heart. It’s situated on the east side, making it perfect for catching sunsets in the morning alongside their phenomenal breakfasts. It’s far enough from the clubs and bars to offer a quiet place to sleep but close enough to keep you close to the action

This hotel is very overpriced and it is not worth it at all. The hotel maybe was good about 10 or 15 years ago but it seems that it is on the way down and is not well maintained. The room design is awkward and uncomfortable. I requested if my check out could be extended by 30 minutes and they refused and I had someone at my door knocking on my door asking me to check out which I have never experienced anywhere. I left and went to another much nicer and more modern hotel with better amenities. I will never go back to this awful hotel and please don’t stay here or you will regret it.

We loved the design and the interieur of the pool villa we rented. It was quiet an privat. The electric switches have been very confusing too many and on unpracticable and too many places. Room service took all of our wine glasses away and didnt bring fresh ones back. Breakfast was average and the breakfast crew was very unorganized. Ugly was the pool situation where all beds had been already reserved in the morning by bad behaving guests. The beach and especially the space between the beds was very dirty full of trash. Your staff didnt care about it. I started collecting trash and gave it to you staff but that triggered nothing. If you have a quiet pool and you post it on the pool, than you staff has to enforce it and send families with loud crying children and parents to the other pool. If you have gym rules and post them in the gym, than you have to check and enforce them. We had little children playing with the weight and machines. No parents in sight. That was so dangerous and your reception staff didnt care. All in all. Better trained staff, more cleaning, more structure and higher class niveau for pool, breakfast and beds with some staff that coordinates and limits reckless customer behaviour would give you a higher rating. From our point of view 3.5 out of 5 stars.
