I had a wonderful dining experience at Hotel Fleur de Lys. The fondue was amazing, rich, flavorful, and perfectly creamy. The restaurant itself is cozy and welcoming, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal. I also tried their morning breakfast buffet, which was delightful. It featured a variety of local specialties and fresh ingredients, giving a true taste of the region to start the day. The staff were attentive and friendly throughout, making the whole experience feel warm and personal. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Swiss flavors in a charming setting.

Delicious Swiss food! We visited this restaurant after seeing it was well reviewed on here and it was exactly what we were looking for. There’s plenty of options available on the menu from locally sourced trout to classic fondue. The restaurant has lots of seating available both inside and out, although outside is closed during the colder months. The staff are attentive and spoke great English as our party cannot speak very good French. Overall, I’d visit again and would recommend it to families and groups alike who are looking for some reasonably priced Swiss food.

Wonderful culinary experience wf FDL. We had traditional fondue n rosti wf Lemoncello n hot Choco to go wf as our dinner. We were served by Ms Claire , a beautiful French lady.she handles our check in to hotel , served us coffee n desserts n served us dinner as well . We are very impressed wf her cheerful Character n smiley face. Whole day has been smiling to every customers at every table. Thanks for serving us ❤️ GBU 5/10/25 2nd day in FDL Was greeting by Ms Claire before we went out to Montreux . Her warm smile had brightened up our day, a cold and drizzle weather! She was kind enough to inform us that tonight Hotel restaurant will be closed. Her initiative was such a kind gesture. Appreciated ❤️🌹 6/10/25 Definitely it’s a correct choice to base in Fleur de Lys , our 3rd nite here in this cozy hotel. This morning saw the hardworking boss, a young and handsome Frenchman ,wiping dry the tables and chairs for us to have alfresco cuppa in this beautiful town early morning . Thanks for ur kind gesture and he’s approachable n jovial . Keep it up wf ur gd work, Boss👍

An unforgettable culinary experience. We made our reservation a month in advance because, after reading tons of reviews about different restaurants, Fleur de Lys stood out the most—and it did not disappoint. The food was absolutely incredible: the fondue was spectacular, the steak was unbeatable—so tender and flavorful—and the fish was perfectly cooked and delicious. Everything exceeded our expectations. The service was excellent. Our original table was in the sun, and when it started to get uncomfortable, the staff kindly moved us without any hesitation. This was truly one of the best culinary memories I’ve stored away. If you’re looking for a special dining experience, this is the place.

Lovely hotel, with classic wood notes everywhere. Great meals at the restaurant, continental style breakfasts. Best view from the rear terrace of the castle, cathedral, and mountains. Will come again!

Yelp
I had the half quiche and salad relish which was more than enough food for my lunch. The bottom of the quiche crust was significantly burnt so it served as a shell for the innards. Had the waitress spoken more fluent English, I would have complained. My Swiss friends were not pleased with their choices - a potato dish (too oily) and a vegetable soup. We were able to eat in the back terrace which provided a nice view.

Yelp
cozy place in gruyere that caters to all ages. we sat outside, placed our order (fondue) and commenced to chow down on really good cheese. I was pleasantly surprised of the generous portions and amount of beer consumed.

Yelp
A cozy little place in Gruyere with a nice view...if you siit outside in the front of the place you view the entrance of Gruyere which is a magical European village, it really takes you back in time. If you sit in the back you overlook the alps, both view great and the food - divine. You must get a rosti type dish with potatos creme cheese, ham (lardon)....typical Swiss, a bit heavy but so worth every caloric bite. I was here once, then took some tourist friends there again. Its a fabulous place.
