Nice calm and mid nature location, staff is friendly and polite. The breakfast was good, restaurant also very good with great food (40-50€ per person). Very good for a get away and you also have the city to explore. It was a good experience and I would recommend.

Overall impression was okay, with a warm welcome from the staff upon arrival. However, the rooms are in need of serious maintenance and improved cleanliness. There was visible mold and cracks on the walls, the ceiling was full of insects, and the bathroom tiles were both dirty and damaged. The pool area was also disappointing, with dated furniture, some of which needs repairs, and the indoor pool requiring urgent cleaning, as it was completely green with dirt. You could even scratch off the buildup, which was very unpleasant. It’s a real shame, as the property must have been beautiful when it first opened and properly maintained, but it now feels quite neglected. Breakfast was acceptable but limited in variety. The eggs, for instance, were more like a tortilla rather than scrambled, which might not suit everyone’s standards and taste.

Pool area is very good and location as well. However, the rooms are very damp and need more maintenance. We noticed some dusty spots and spider webs. Breakfast is good.

Echoing the comments - this is not a 4 star hotel experience. The surroundings are lovely, and there is potential for this hotel to be great - however the rooms were quite basic with definite renovations needed. The shared spaces were good (lounge) and nice buffet breakfast. Spa not ideal with timers on sauna and steam room. Extra to pay for head caps. Overall lots of little errors making the stay not as smooth as it has the potential to be. With some extra care - the place does have potential but I would say 3 star at loft for now. Staff were nice :)

Terrible experience. Our room had bed bugs, my husband got bitten multiple times and had a severe allergic reaction the following day. We contacted the hotel afterwards to inform, and they didn’t even excused about the incident. They just said they “comply with the cleaning guidelines”.

On a trip where we just wanted to relax, we had an unpleasant surprise and had to leave the hotel halfway through our stay. Everything seemed excellent, but what they sold us in the photos was not at all the real appearance of the rooms. Starting with the positives, the space and common areas are very good, and the ingredients they use for breakfast are of immense quality. Following this is the friendliness of the staff, who were very understanding and helpful. Our problem was with the room, which was not worthy of a 4-star hotel. Besides the questionable cleanliness (cobwebs, dust, dirt on the chairs), the space needs a lot of repairs. Things were so bad to the point that we didn't even feel confident enough to take a shower. We complained upon arrival, and nothing was done. We complained again at night when we returned, and they told us that we could only resolve it by speaking with management the next morning. We woke up very early to speak with management and request a refund for the second night and leave. In the price range, there are much better offers in Évora. They told us that the hotel was undergoing renovation work, but if that was the case, they should not have sold us the room.
