I just had an excellent meal with my family and our dogs. The food was absolutely top-notch; we loved everything from the steak to the fish and chips—everything was fresh and cooked perfectly. The place is super dog-friendly, which made our visit even better. The staff were friendly and really knew their menu, making our experience enjoyable from start to finish. Honestly, I can't recommend this spot enough if you're in the area!

7 adults in our party stayed whilst doing The Northumberland Coastal path. |Emily the manager made us most welcome, nothing was too much trouble for her, she said the Inn was her pride and joy and it showed. |The young lady behind the bar, Emma A has obviously been well trained , she too was positively charming. |Considering there was just the 2 of them front of house the service was 1st rate. |Both dinner and breakfast were very good with a good choice. |Nice spotless rooms with comfortable beds and good quality towels. Lovely hot showers with good quality toiletries provided. |Thank you for looking after us after a long walk .

Just spent a few days at Lindisfarne inn part of the inn collection, and we had a fantastic stay. Rooms were very comfortable and the food was excellent. Not sure if I can do this but hopefully trip advisor allow it, one of the managers I think his name was Mikey was excellent greeted us with a smile and was always on and if we needed anything, he was still going in the evening and always kept himself busy. Honestly a real credit to the inn collection. So a big thanks to him for making our day extra special.

Poor dining experience. Disappointing and only had mackerel pate. Bread wasn’t properly toasted and covered only half the slice with the pate, the rest being rocket. Odd. Pickled cucumber and green pepper corns were nice however. Glad I didn’t have a main. 2/3 bar staff who dealt with me very surly, no smiles and curt to say the least. Won’t be rushing back.

I've never had customer service like what I had at the Lindisfarne Inn. Dan was unbelievably accommodating and friendly. We had a situation with another hotel on Holy Island and Dan was so helpful with situation and put mine and my wife mind's at ease. ||The room was well decorated and clean and we felt very comfortable and had great night's sleep.||The food was amazing and so quick to arrive at our table.||They also pull the perfect pint.||Seriously if I'm in the area again, I'm coming here

Warm, friendly and excellent for a night or two (or longer) stay. We booked at the last minute and received a warm welcome. The room was lovely, spacious and with a huge bed. I had the best night's sleep there if my whole holiday. Shower was great too and the evening meas tasty. Service was friendly and incredibly efficient as there didn't appear to be many staff. Well worth the visit and, if you're visiting Lindisfarne(which you shouldn't miss)I can't see why you would stay anywhere else! Very good value for money.

We stopped on the off chance of a Sunday dinner after spending the day sightseeing. It was beautiful, lots of meat and veg, lovely gravy and lots of it. Would recommend to anyone in the area looking for a decent sunday roast

Stayed for a few days in July whilst we were visiting Holy island and surrounding areas. Great location even though just off a busy road. The lady welcoming us on the first night was wonderful. She was the manager I think and really made us feel welcome. Team seemed ok and were friendly after that. ||Room was disappointing. So hot even with a fan. It was very clean! We were right opposite the kitchen fans and they were loud. Went off at night but it meant the window could not be left open. It felt a bit like a motel with outside corridors. ||We ate breakfast both mornings and dinner both nights. Food was good and so fast in coming after ordering. Good selection of drinks. A little strange that no table service so getting up and down to order food and drinks was a bit annoying. ||Overall we enjoyed our stay. Location was great for Holy island. Thank you!

Yelp
We were making the long (6 hours or so) drive from home to Edinburgh for a few days. We were starting to feel hungry, probably still two hours drive to go and luckily passed this nice looking pub by the side of the road. Not exactly in the middle of nowhere but fairly remote. Found somewhere to pull over and turn around after5 minutes drive. Called to make sure that the kitchen was still open (mid afternoon) and headed back. The staff were young an friendly, service was good and my creamy fish pie and a glass of cider were tasty and satisfying. It was now late afternoon (about 4-4:30) and I had seen a road sign for a castle - so I looked on Google and discovered that we were just minutes from Holy Island: https://www.lindisfarne.org.uk/ Couldn't resist - so off we drove, pretty landscape and beautiful views once we had crossed the busy train track. Then we got the crossing to the island and realized for the first time that access was determined by the tides and the tide was clearly coming in. Stopped for a quick chat with two photographers getting ready to take pics and ascertained that we had better be back in 15 minutes or we could get trapped - so off we went, quick visit of the beautiful island, took a few pics (of course we couldn't stop for long) and crossed back within about 20 minutes - we likely had another 10-15 minutes to be honest before we would have been cut off - but Edinburgh awaited us :) Three thumbs up Definitely visit bot the pub and the island but check tidal times before deciding which to do first! Yelp
Have been for a meal here several times, and have never been disappointed. Imaginative food, great service, and reasonable prices too

Yelp
We visited this pub for lunch after leaving Holy Island. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Service was prompt. I had scampi which was nice but the chips were clearly frozen and a bit dry. My partner had shoulder of lamb which was very good with nice fresh veg. Kids meals also seemed OK - usual selection. Didn't try puddings but they looked good.

Yelp
The inn is alright on the bedding side, but the staff is not very helpfull. The waitress did not break a smile for the 4 days spent there ( nor at breakfast or dinner) and the food is desperately pub stiyle. Fine is you enjoy a fish and chip the size of a shoe box but impossible to get something not deep fried. Even when ask for substitution the green come as decoration ( one leaf of uncooked call to replace the rice really?) and do not dare to ask for yogurt in the morning without passing for a snob.
