The Lingholm Estate

So lovely we keep going back! It is such a super place to stay. ||The team at Lingholm do a fabulous job as the accommodation (and the surroundings, and the cafe) are always spotless and never look tired. Everyone is also very welcoming. |The accommodation is always well appointed with everything you could possibly need for a self-catering holiday.|The grounds are such a pleasure to walk through. | |Whenever we go with different friends / family, our guests always end up booking again too, so a stay at Lingholm can be quite infectious.

Perfect place ,accomodation five star ,excellent location for|Walking .cafe and staff brilliant. |Very dog friendly.our favourite place. The apartment was constantly warm . The beds were lush so comfortable. Tv had lots options. Bathing facilities bath and shower were top class. Definitely recommend

Our accommodation in Lingholm Estate was superb, everything was immaculate. The staff in the estate and the Kitchen were helpful and polite. The only negative was the weather as it was biblical, but it wouldn't be called the lake district if it didn't rain occasionally. We know we will be going back as we have already booked a stay for 2026.

We stayed in Silver Hill which suited our family’s needs with my elderly parents, adult son and dog. The accommodation was perfect with good quality furnishings and comfortable beds. We’ve visited the cafe before but hadn’t realised how beautiful the estate is and we really enjoyed exploring it. The secure garden and doggy welcome pack were very much appreciated and it’s really nice and unusual to find such good quality dog friendly accommodation. We loved watching the sunrise down by the lake so thanks to whoever recommended that on here. Thank you team Lingholm, we hope to return.

We stayed in The Old Library which is excellent for anyone with a dog. The apartment is superb, very comfortable & well equipped. Nice balcony overlooking the lawn with views over Skiddaw. The en-suite bedroom is massive & the second bedroom is a really good size. As ever the breakfast in Lingholm Kitchen was top notch. We love Lingholm, it’s the best place to stay in the Lakes

3rd visit to The Old Library. Perfect visit again. The accommodation is excellent with bathrooms to die for and a bath you can swim in!!||Lingholm estate is ideally located for walks around Derwentwater or ticking off some of the Wainwrights.||Keswick is a short walk away where you can get buses to the rest of the Lakes - all capped at £3 as well. ||The estate is private which is great for the dog - just be careful on a morning as they walk the alpacas by the lake! ||Had breakfast at the Lingholm cafe a couple of times and that again is excellent quality.

Lost count of how many times we have stayed over the last 6-7 years .. we absolutely love Lingholm .. it’s truly our happy place |Stayed in Swinside this time for the first time and loved it .. huge space and fabulous views. |Our favourite thing to do is walk down to the lake with our cheese and wine picnic and just soak in the utterly beautiful views |So much to see and do in surrounding areas .. you will always need a reason to return |Staff as always are the absolute best |Can’t recommend enough

Absolutely beautiful accommodation and setting and the Lingholm Kitchen is an added bonus for a stunning breakfast. Keswick is on the doorstep and the views from the estate are breathtaking. Can't wait to come back very soon and explore some more
