I visited the cafe on a Saturday around noon for brunch and was lucky enough to get an outdoor table. The waitstaff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The brunch option included a main dish, dessert, coffee, and a drink—perfect for me, as I love both savory and sweet options. I liked their version/twist of the French toast and can recommend.

Google
Very nice and attentive staff. Tasty! A lady noticed that I wanted to sit outside and when a table outside was freed, she offered me to relocate there, thank you so much!

I came here to work on an essay and ordered the earl grey tea. There is a great study/working environment with good wifi and many people with their laptops. they have a variety of good looking pastries. I also stayed for lunch and ordered the vegan burrito (there are several vegan options available) which had great flavor and healthy ingredients. I would definitely return here to study over either coffee, breakfast or lunch!

This little cafe packs a big punch. The coffee drinks were perfect, the avocado toast excellent, the protein bowl super delish! And everything else looks great, too..

Google
Spectacular place for a copious breakfast, healthy lunch or a sweet afternoon treat. There are plenty of breakfast options, including classic toasts, eggs Benedict, pancakes and granola bowls. The lunch menu has a healthy touch, with several vegetarian dishes. The roasted-vegetable sandwich is utterly fantastic. There is also a wide range of cakes and other sweets. The massive cinnamon roll is a must. My only complaint about The Little Big Café is the rather poor quality of the espresso. That said, it's still one of my favorite cafés in Madrid.

Google
For me, the best carrot cake in town! It has a great variety of both healthy plates and guilty pleasures. The place is cozy, has great wi-fi connection and coffee is amazing so it is great for just going to study or work. The staff is also very nice.

Google
A lovely little brunch spot a short walk from Moncloa. It’s a very cosy space but it has a lovely atmosphere and great menu options for breakfast/brunch. The food was fresh and beautifully presented.

Google
My favortie place for brunchs in madrid! The team is absolutely fantastic warm, attentive, and always making you feel at ease. Their matcha is perfect! Toast al estilo arabe my favorite, and PLEASE if you go there try the fudge!!!!!!!

Yelp
We had a wonderful breakfast. My wife had eggs Benedict which she said was the best she ever had and I had French toast with eggs, amazing. The service was great and very nice and helpful since we're traveling from the States. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

Yelp
Food was soooo good. I ordered the salon, cream cheese, avocado on a bagel and a chai latte. It was sooo delicious. If in the area, would definitely recommend you stop by and get some coffee. You will not regret it!

Yelp
The Little Big Café is one of my favorite American-friendly spots in Madrid. It call it American-friendly because it serves traditional brunch foods and sweeter iced coffees (of which I am a huge fan!!). I strongly recommend the breakfast bagel -- it's savory and packs a punch with its combination of jammy egg, crispy bacon and sauce. Their iced vanilla latte is also good. I appreciated the non-dairy options. The one thing to keep in mind is that TLBC is nearly always crowded. Don't be surprised if you're unable to snag a table, especially on weekends. Though there's WiFi, I wouldn't consider it a good place to bring a laptop/work setup. That's typical of most Spanish cafés, though. Overall, 5 stars. I hope to come back a couple more times during my stay in the city!

Yelp
This place was great. It is small and only sits about 20 ppl indoors. Their plates are great for American tastebuds. You should know that brunch is only available on Saturday and Sunday. Given 4 stars bc their lattes and hot chocolate were not very hot.

Sophie M.

Yelp
I got the eggs on toast with a feta spread. Delicious food, decent portion. The indoor area is a little small, but it adds to the quaint vibes.

Yelp
Lovely café with free wifi (just ask for password). Small capacity but not always full. Great array of items on menu. Good coffee. This is the first iced espresso I've found since being in Madrid.

Yelp
Lovely little café here. The food is excellent and not too pricey, and the decor is very quaint and adorable. Service is very friendly as well, all around a very cute place. I've gone a couple times and would especially recommend the toasts. Though, if you're feeling very hungry the brunch menu offers a huge amount of food for a great price. One thing: if you're going on the weekend go earlier rather than later, it is a very small cafe and fills up very quickly!

Yelp
We went to Little Big Café on a Saturday around noon, and were lucky enough to snag a table outside. We ended up deciding on the brunch special, which cost around 18 euro, but was enough for two people to share. We selected the eggs benedict and chocolate cake, as well as the bowl of fruit and orange juice. Everything was very good, though the portion of eggs benedict was a bit small for the price. Also, the waitstaff is very friendly, which is somewhat uncommon in Madrid. I would definitely go back in the future, but I would not recommend coming with a large group on the weekend, as the seating is rather limited.

Yelp
This place has big surprises in such a small place. It is very hipster and the ambiance is very relaxing. It is comforting for coming in and hanging out with some friends. There is wifi in the building! What's cool about this place is that there is a whole chalkboard covering the wall! It contains the whole menu of the cafe! In another corner there is a typewriter with a table and it's very retro. Meanwhile there is the section of the reception where there are several desserts on display. Next to this there a board filled with little polaroids. This is a unique way of demonstrating VIP clients and a cool way to show them their importance to this business. To say the least a was a bit disappointed with the hamburgers. Instead of being hamburgers, they were more so like sliders with some veggie chips. It was a little bit on the expensive side for having such a small plate, and expecting something more filling. I ordered a tea which had a great presentation and very good taste. They do have varieties in which to choose from. If you do ask, they have hot sauce ! I ordered a small piece of dessert, and all of my friends and I were blown away by the richness these little treats had. The price is very good for the portions that were offered, and every bite of this treat was unbelievably satisfying! They do accept credit cards, and they are unbelievably friendly to their costumers.

Yelp
Very much my kind of place! Discovered by accident, during summer break when it was closed, I solemnly promised myself to come back to test it. Loved it for Sunday brunch with a Spanish speaker, I decided to go for it on my own and what a great experience it was! American Cafe vibe, good selection of pastries (some gluten free), excellent salads, sandwiches and other "salados". Menu of the day - perfect. Just what I needed. Super friendly and English speaking staff and a simple and serein decor. Will be coming back every time when in Madrid. Definitely worth trying

Lily V.

Yelp
The Little Big Café is my favorite brunch and coffee place in Madrid so far. The staff is so friendly and there are a wide variety of options to pick from depending on what you are in the mood for. I highly recommend the chai latte and cinnamon rolls!!

Yelp
Another incredible experience. It was indeed a Little Big Cafe. The food was incredible. The service was wonderful. The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable. In spite of our language limitations the staff filled the gap happily. We had the brunch that was 3 courses. We ECG had the French toast, scrambled eggs and bacon for course 1. Course 2 was fruit and yogurt. The 3rd course was cake. We had chocolate, carrot and blueberry cheesecake. I can waddle away happily.

Cory F.

Yelp
Good breakfast place. Avocado toast and bacon is worth the walk being just outside the central area.

Yelp
I came on a wendsay around 3:30 and the cafe was CLOSED! Yelp said its open, and it wasn't! we drove all the way just to try the cafe and wasted one hour of our time.

Yelp
this is an amazing place to sit and read a book or in my case study. The decor was bright but cozy and the menu was written on the wall which was painter with chalkboard paint. the background music was nice and calming and it didnt feel crowded even when the seats were full. I had a carrot cake and it was one of thr best I have had since coming to Madrid. Best of all, they had kombucha.

Yelp
I must say I really enjoyed this place! At first I was bummed because they only serve brunch on the weekends but I was pleasantly surprised and happy with the food selections my husband and I made. The turkey sandwich with tomato spread was amazing. Very light. I also had the banana chocolate chip loaf which was to die for and a cup of coffee. My hi sand had a ham sandwich and coffee as well. The entire meal was under 10 euros and the lady behind the desk was friendly and cheerful. I highly recommend this place!
google avatar

Yelp
Currently sitting here as I write this review! Great cafe with a wide wide selection of food/snacks, great coffee, and to die for baked goods. I've come here many times during my time in Madrid, and so far my favorites are the cafe con leche paired with either the carrot cake (my all time favorite) or the monkey cake. The ambience is perfect for studying or meeting with friends. The workers are also very friendly and helpful to a non-native Spanish speaker like me. Will definitely be back for more!

Yelp
Cute little cafe with delicious food, good prices and a great selection for brunch. I got the quinoa hamburger and the chicken/pineapple/avocado salad...highly recommend both. The price for the brunch items were reasonable, and the service was fantastic!
google avatar

Kristina G.

Yelp
A pricer brunch in Madrid but the food is really good, I would suggest going for their pastries! The place is small so you might have to wait for a table depending on when you go!

Sherese B.

Yelp
Cute little cafe near my hotel. Only a few tables so be prepared to wait or get take away.

Yelp
Great cafe in the heart of Chamberi! I highly recommend the Carmel, brie, Apple sandwich. I will be returning for brunch in the near future

Yelp
Everything is so good here. Not entirely sure why the rating isnt a perfect 5 star here. But this is the cutest classiest cafe Ive been in Madrid so far with the freshest quality of food and pastries. Their SALAD is impeccable with a couple pomegranate pieces and strawberries and beets and mixed greens. Its so so so fresh with an amazing balsamic dressing but of course you can choose plain olive oil dressing too. All of their brunch deals are a gem. the french toast to rhe eggs benedict... They all come with that cute little mini salad and if you are not up for a full meal, the pan con tomate or any of the toasts will do for under 3 euros. The bread is amazing here. Soft and delicious and not too moist, the perfect condition. I an addicted to this place already and I just came here three times since two nights ago. Anyways it is a dangerously addicting, reasonable priced place. Please check out this place if you ever come across a chance to.

Yelp
Great cafe! It's small but it has actual tables so it's comfortable. The girl behind the counter (I think Maria was her name) was so cute and welcoming. I went with an Americano con leche and a piece of cake and paid less than 4€ - and the cup of coffee was huge!! Definitely recommend. I wish I could go on the weekend because their brunch looks delicious and that's the only time it is served.
google avatar

Amanda Z.

Yelp
A little small, but a great place to do work at (free wifi + actual tables!!). Plus, the whole place smelled like the best freaking brownies ever (did not have a chance to try, but they looked heavenly and the slices were huge).
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing environment, great options, delicious desserts and lovely service. I could sit there all day with a coffee. Favorites: Order the menu of the day (menu del dia), fresh orange juice, caprese sandwich, avocado/chicken/piña salad.

Yelp
came up to this part of town from Sol solely (pun intended) for the purpose of visiting Little Big Cafe. while this area is not nearly as 'trendy' or 'bustling' as Sol, Little Big Cafe makes it stand out, for sure. the inside is teeming with young adults, all who are enthusiastic at the thought of trying a tasty crumble or brownie from this beloved bakery. my husband and I ordered off the breakfast menu (we were a bit bummed that we wouldn't be in town on Saturday or Sunday to try out their ever-popular brunch). he got the tostada con tomate y aceite, which was very tasty & good for someone who doesn't like sweets as much. I do.. so I ordered the tostada con miel y canela. butter, cinnamon, and honey are my jams (another pun.. this time, unintended). we each ordered a latte- nothing 'special' but tasty, indeed. the servers are very friendly, which makes it a great spot, in my opinion. they also offer smoothies, salads (which look delectable), snacks, and sandwiches. they only play American music which kind of confused me, for I'm all about trying to learn the Spanish culture, but then again.. it is called the 'Little Big Cafe'. I would definitely stop by if you're in town.

Annie G.

Yelp
I am allergic to dairy and gluten and I was super excited to try their gluten free pancakes, unfortunately they were out. I did have their smoothie bowl and it was delicious! But my favorite thing was their gluten free toast it was amazing. My stomach is rumbling just thinking about it!! This restaurant really is little though so go early to get a seat!

Yelp
Nice place with beautiful desserts, juices, smoothies and coffees / teas. Sweet staff and, like many places in Madrid, cute ambience and decoration. LOTS of Americans :)

Yelp
La tarta de cerveza is the most delicious slice of cake I have had in Madrid. 10/10 would recommend.

Yelp

Yelp
What a cute little coffee shop! I have yet to have anything here that I haven't liked. Staff is super friendly and the baked goods are superb!

Yelp
After multiple visits, it's official - I would have gone out of my way to get to this place; fortunately, it was just a couple blocks away from where I stayed for Spanish language classes. EVERYTHING from the food, the staff, the atmosphere, and the cleanliness are GREAT! If you want healthy, fresh food, The Little Big Cafe is where you go.
