Cute boutique shop highlighting goods made or grown in Georgia. I was looking for a hostess gift for relatives in another state and wanted to get them something that they couldn't necessarily get where they live. I found exactly what I wanted - an assortment of BBQ sauces, jams, honeys, and salsas all made in Georgia using Georgia grown produce. Prices are more expensive than what you would pay for a generic, mass produced item, but are not cost prohibited. The sales clerk, Nikki, was very friendly and helpful and I enjoyed chatting with her at checkout. This is a great place to shop for unique and not mass produced gifts! I will be back!

Wonderful shop!! Roma (I hope I'm spelling her name right) was so welcoming and helpful, and I'm so glad I wandered in! Had some samples for granola, and ended up grabbing 2 bags. I plan to be back for more, and to try some snacks or meals!!

Such a cute shop! I love the "keep it local" vibe here. The sticker selection is awesome 😎. I was very excited to pick up some Savannah Bee lip balm without driving all the way to Savannah. Picked up some local Peach pancake syrup and other locally made food items that I look forward to trying when I get home from this trip.

The Local Exchange is an amazing woman-owned boutique in the heart of Marietta Square, specializing in local and handmade goods. From pottery to coffee, self-care, and crochet, they have everything you are looking for in terms of unique gifts. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted by Ginger and had a friendly conversation with the owner. They carry a wide variety of items but it's not an overwhelming experience. The store is very clean and all workers were wearing masks, which I appreciated. We arrived close to opening and saw first-hand cleaning procedures in high traffic areas being enforced -- a lovely storefront! We are honored to be a new vendor and customer. (Go check out our sustainable items and velvet scrunchies handmade with love!) @The Local Exchange - thank you for having us and supporting the dreams of a local artist.

Adorable locally owned shop filled with unique gifts, all locally sourced! Clean and inviting atmosphere. We grabbed a few handmade items (scrunchies and face scrubbies) then headed next door for ice cream!

So many cool goodies! I’m going to have to come back to try the draft root beer and make my own peanut butter!

Yelp
A great local Marietta Offerings store. They have a lot of items referenced to The Square and Marietta. They also have a wine section as well as various jams jelly's sauces crackers. Books and paintings accessories are just a few of so many different things. The shop owners and staff are attentive. I did a lot of Christmas shopping there!

Yelp
Solid showing. In a sea of shops and slightly tourist trap area, this place is a nice stop. Wasn't sure about it at first. Took a seat next to the checkers table. After a brief rest, where no one batted an eye...sitting in a shop, I took a look at round. 2-3-4 laps. Every lap I found another small item I could gift to my non-Georgia loved ones. Will bring other visiting family here in the future.

Yelp
roaming around in Marietta downtown, we stumbled upon the Local Exchange. Loved this place. They have everything local - coffee, beer, meats, decorations, kombucha, books, wood work stuff, wines, hand made chocolates, nut butters and a lot more. If you are in Atlanta for a visit or even if you live here, a great place to visit and get some nice local souvenirs. They have this machines that makes fresh peanut dark chocolate butter that you must try !!! It's yummy. It's not expensive - $5 for 16 ounces. The items are reasonably priced and if you are into supporting local like I am, this is a must visit place if you live in Marietta or nearby. LIVE LOCAL - BUY LOCAL @ THE LOCAL EXCHANGE

Yelp
Very cute modern general store in Marietta Square with a little bit of everything. This shop is absolutely adorable with tons of products made in GA. There's locally made food, beverages, merchandise and antique items. I spent at least 30 minutes exploring the store and looking at possible items to purchase as gifts. I purchased some local jam and a beautiful candle holder made from beeswax. Both items were reasonably priced. I love supporting small business and this is one that I will definitely visit again. Oh yeah, complimentary tissue paper was offered for my gift and it was placed in a box. Awesome!!! Take a trip to Marietta Square now and visit this adorable shop.

Yelp
This little place is just amazing! I had to really my money because I wanted to buy everything. They have an art gallery on the second floor and can buy anything you like. Prices are not bad. I loved that they have tasting of honey and other things. I'll definitely come back here to get more very unique stuff.

Yelp
I could have spent all day in here looking at knickknacks. They have lots of local gifts. Lots of Georgia merchandise for out of towners. It's a great gift shop if you're searching for something local for your friends and relatives! The sales women were very kind and sweet. I had my kid with me and the woman explained they have two stuffed animals hiding in the store. If your kid can find them, they get a free piece of candy. This keeps the kiddos super busy while you shop. My daughter found them both and was instructed to hide them again for the next kid to find! It was fun! As for the merchandise, I've seen Georgia hand towels, candles, bibs and onesies, local goodies like oil and honey, dry rubs, to a "grind your own peanut butter" machine! So many fun things! Stop by if you have time!

Yelp
Such a sweet cool store. They have it all! Boutique gifts, handmade items, gourmet foods, local beers/wine and antiques. They even have Arden's Garden which I had to buy and cool socks. Total win!

Yelp
This is my first time visiting this establishment. The ambiance of this place is AMAZING!! The service is AMAZING!! Now let's talk about the food. I had their signature dish ~ Chicken and French Toast with fried apples. OMG!!OMG!! OMG!! It's was DELICIOUS!! Two of my family members had the famous chicken sandwich and the grilled chicken club. They couldn't stop raving about it!! The other two also had the Chicken and French Toast. They loved it as well. On the back of their shirts says, "God, Family and Fried Chicken I will be a frequent visitor and I urge you to do the same!!

Yelp
This is exactly what I expect to see when I walk into a place called "The Local Exchange". Plenty of amazing products from folks right here in Georgia and the quality and uniqueness of every item here is unsurpassed. I always know that I can find a great gift for a friend or relative or something just to reward myself. I love the little art gallery that is upstairs from the store as well. Very cool and hip! I highly recommend!

Yelp
LIVE LOCAL, BUY LOCAL I love that this store is all about supporting local artists and craftsmen. everything is locally produced and this is always great for the community. However, I have found that this is a common theme with many of the stores on the square. This store is very eclectic as it has health foods, clothing items, dog supplies, home decor items and gifts. They don't just carry packaged foods, they have refrigerated items as well. I love the fresh peanut dispenser that allows you to have fresh made peanut butter. This was how I purchased my natural peanut butter back in the day. Boy, this takes me back! I love to purchase souvenir items that are not too obvious but locally produced. This is a great store for purchasing such items. The coolest part of this space is the upstairs art gallery called the Artist's Attic. Don't forget to check it out as it is truly the cherry on top!

Yelp
I've only been in once so far and have not yet made a purchase, but I'm so excited for this find that I want to go ahead and tell you about it! SO MANY AWESOME LOCAL PRODUCTS! It is refreshing. I an shocked that more people have not reviewed and professed their love. ..and what's not to love about this? High Road ice cram, Talenti Gelato, Red Hare root beer from the tap (!!), French Silver (sassy, fun dish towels,) Alta Cucina, King of Pops, Patak, local honey, soaps, crafts, license plate art, local team stuff, etc. They also help you put together your "Perfect Picnic" for concerts on the square which you can even order online ahead of time and have an artists attic (yes, check the second floor!) All in all it seems you can feel good about shopping here for local foods, art, antiques, gifts and more. I'm in love - with a biz - and I don't care who knows it!!!

Yelp
Shop small, shop local. I love buying local and handmade goodies. Just love it. I think it's the extreme feeling of satisfaction in knowing that I have something few other people have and I'm supporting a local crafty person. I know of a few websites that feature local goods, but I love the fact that I can wander through this store and look, touch, smell and try everything! The Local Exchange is exactly what it sounds like. They offer goodies such as jewelry, art, soap, beauty products, honey, t-shirts, dish towels, canned pickled veggies, popsicles, spices, root beer, dog leash sets etc. I wandered in with my mom on Mother's Day and ended up buying a couple of the dish towels and a bar of handmade soap for my Grandma. Such a cute shop! Love it!

Yelp
I love buying local and handmade gifts and I love to help the local economy. This store is the perfect place for that because they bring thousands of local companies into one store. The cons: I have resisted on several occasions throughout the year and every time I visited their employees are on their phones, do not greet me, or ask me if I need help, one time I needed help getting something down and the girl wouldn't look up long enough for me to ask for help then when I finally asked for help she seemed very upset I interuppted her. I normally don't make a big deal out of customer service because you never know the situation but when it is someone on their phone at and when it is several occasions not just one it begins to reflect on the management. Another con is the sweets case where they sell their fudge is always dirty and doesn't look fresh, then one day I found out they don't even make it there!!! What a rip off and so gross! Across the square there is a candy shop that makes all of their fudge right in house and you can see them make it if you catch them on a baking day! Their fudge tastes much better too and their staff is always tentative . All in all It is a good store with great items, just not fudge or customer service.

Yelp
My husband and I strolled into this store the other day after having lunch at a near by cafe, and WE ARE IN LOVE!!! We purchased our first home about a year ago in Downtown Marietta and walk to the Square almost every evening with our baby girl:) We have been saying for months that we need a grocery store within walking distance on the Square and we are so excited about this addition to our neighborhood! We love our neighborhood so much and I believe this store just raised the value of our home:) Score! Another thing I love is that this shop features local artists, crafters, foodies, etc and I secretly hope to be one of them in the future. (I make inspirational jewelry;) This is a brilliant addition to Downtown Marietta. Most other tourist-y towns in Georgia have a general store, so anyone who visits will be happy to see this. And obviously it's a huge bonus to us locals:) I literally love this store so much that I want to go do free advertising for the owner! I never want it to close. Like ever. Seriously! Go check it out. Preferably on pay-day. That way you can buy lots of cool things & organic food and by default, support local entrepreneurs. And then tell all of your friends!

Yelp
I love supporting a local business and that's what this place is about. Pretty much all of their products are sourced in North Georgia. Want local honey or crafts and can't make it to a farmers market? Go here!
