Bryce Canyon National Park Travel Guide

"A historic on-site hotel and dining complex with original Western-style cabins that offer rustic but well-maintained lodging and unbeatable proximity to rim viewpoints and trails—many key overlooks and trailheads are within easy walking distance. The on-site dining room serves reliably good, classic fare (expect items like elk chili, burgers and quesadillas) and provides convenient meal options for guests who prefer to stay inside the park." - Lydia Mansel Lydia Mansel Lydia Mansel is a writer with more than eight years of experience editing and writing for both brands and online publications—with a particular focus on travel, fashion, and lifestyle. Bryce Canyon National Park: A Guide to the Best Hiking, Stargazing, and Lodging

"Within the park, the only place to dine is the restaurant inside the Lodge at Bryce Canyon (serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, April to October). With a large stone fireplace and soaring barn-like ceilings, the dining room’s rustic charm matches the progressive steakhouse menu, which includes everything from elk chili and ribeyes to a vegan bowl with Beyond Meat."

Being this close to the rim was amazing! Being able to go out in the morning and evening when the park was quiet was such a treat. Looking at the stars and the scenery was stunning. If we'd stayed outside the park, our enjoyment of Bryce National Park would have been limited to fewer hours of enjoyment. So glad we stayed there.||The cabin did have two separate units in it, and we were able to hear our neighbors very easily. Noise was definitely an issue but we just adjusted to it and tried to be considerate.||While we could not get the Lodge Wi-Fi out at our cabin, we discovered that we could get 5G cell service close to the canyon rim and used that. Our cabin was one of the closest to the rim (requested). Amazingly, parking was readily available a short walk away.||The fireplace was wonderfully cozy and warm! The heat in the cabin worked well.||Would love to stay here again sometime.

The Western Cabins at the Lodge at Bryce Canyon provided an exceptional stay! The location, just a 20-second walk from the Canyon will be something I’ll remember. We loved our stay and the traditional cabins were spacious and perfect for a one night stay. The night-sky, full of stars was lovely also. A huge thank you to Michael who looked after us at dinner in the Dining Room. We loved the dinner and chatting with Michael. Lots of great stories and we wish you all the best Mike! Hope to see you again!

Perfect for our family of 3. We traveled in November, so no AC was OK. No TV in room, but we were steps away from the Amphitheater (no need for TV). Beds were comfortable and rooms were spacious and clean. Location was ideal. Just a 2 minute walk to get a sunrise view.

Worst hotel of our 10 day tour! Room was very warm when we arrived but we couldn't seem to adjust the temp. We called downstairs & was told it was slow, give it 20 min. That did nothing so I went to the desk to ask for maintenance. Now they said the rooms don't have a/c! What? Then what were we waiting 20 minutes for? They suggested opening the window or door & putting on a fan. We are doing that but it's still too hot. Not what we were expecting at all! On top of that, our burger at dinner was way overcooked & the rooms are wicked dark - we needed to put on every light. We will be telling our tour operator. Will never come back to this hotel.

We stopped here for breakfast before seeing (my personal first) view of the canyon. We chose buffet because we didn't want to carry leftovers. They had a tasty variety with bacon and oatmeal with coffee as my faves - plus coffee. Would definitely return next time around maybe for lunch or dinner next time. KaKay was super attentive and packed me a to go much appreciated coffee!

My wife & I love the historic lodges in the national parks having stayed in Yosemite, Yellowstone and the Grand Canyon. But I was skeptical about staying here because of the mixed reviews and the notion that since it was after Labor Day, service might be compromised. ||For our one night, we were assigned to a room in one of the outer buildings. The room was standard issue national park but as usual, checked off all the boxes. A rustic theme, a good bed and an adequate bathroom. The best part was the balcony where we sat for a glass of wine before going to dinner in the lodge. ||After a day in the park, the room was cozy and comforting. I regret that we had not planned to stay longer during our road trip. I would definitely go back.

The Lodge is centrally located great for all the hikes and lookout points such as sunset and sunrise point. We stayed in the cabins. There was no wifi in the cabins but the hotel building and central lodge area had wifi. The main building has a dining room with good food. The pizza place was awesome for lunch.

This review is for the restaurant. I had modest expectations for a meal in the park, and the restaurant greatly exceeded them. It is a breakthroughs setting. Service was both fast and friendly. We liked our so much that we came back after our first lunch twice, once for another lunch and once for dinner. I had a hearty and delicious vegan bowl (ask for extra green chili if like me you enjoy heat). Second lunch was an excellent elk chili. For dinner I had a14 Oz ribeeye, perfectly prepared with excellent roasted potatoes and asparagus, cooked just right to have just a little bite left. My leftover steak went into a sandwich next day. Highly recommend the cheesecake for dessert.
