The Lodge at Creel Hotel & SPA

What a marvelous experience. Ambiance in the extreme. Every inch is decked out in a mountain lodge theme. The room was expansive and beautifully appointed. The on site restaurant and brewery was great and the location makes it super easy to enjoy walking and exploring the town. Norma was so helpful and friendly. The meals were wonderful and served with gracious hospitality. Thanks to Erica at Mexico Cooper Canyon Mexico Specialists for creating a perfect vacation.

The hotel resembles a ski lodge, with fireplaces and wood paneling throughout. This is a great location at the end of the very small town, and it’s a great base to start exploring the canyon. Our room was large and provided a bathrobe, slippers and a stove/heater. The front desk is friendly, but they do not speak any English. The laundry service was quick and our laundry was returned the same day, and the massage was very good. The dining room was good, but, in general, Creel is not known for its restaurants. We had a great experience here and I’d love to stay here again. There’s so much more to explore around the area!

In easy walking distance to town. The services within hotel are great with the brewery and food. It was nice to have the fires goings and be in the mountains.

Possibly the nicest place to stay in Creel. The rooms are rustic cabins with all the amenities. Rooms can get noisy specially if you have a loud neighbor. The restaurants and brewery are super nice but unfortunately service is not great and food options are few. You better like animals because there are many stray cats and dogs visiting which we did not mind since they are super friendly.

This is by far the finest hotel in the area. We also enjoyed the spa on this trip fortunately for us it didn’t snow until a week later.

The place is nice , rooms are clean , overall grounds are well taken care of . There is very limited parking so if you’re going with a vehicle, that’s something to consider . There is no pool, and the spa was closed even though it said open till 9pm, it wasn’t . The breakfast buffet was a huge scam, they don’t have the price anywhere. So it feels like breakfast would be included , since it’s buffet style . Turns out it’s $295 and drinks ect are extra . That’s a crazy price for a basic buffet. Had we know we would have gone somewhere else .

Phenomenal! They let us store our bike bags there for a day as we explored the canyons. Best hotel in town.

The place is amazing, the staff have great customer service. The food is incredible and the prices are accessible. The tours offered are great, the transportation from and to the attractions was amazing, excelente tour guide Jesus. A definitely must stay place when visiting Creel, super recommended.

So far so good, the travel agent set us up in this centralized location. It's really close to the train station and all the shops. My wife and I did enjoy our stay. The front desk was hit or miss with english speaking counter person, either way they were happy to please. The restaurant attached in the Best Western was OK, there are better places up the street. Our dishes were very light on the portions. The coffee is strong so this might be a plus? The room was nice, i'm glad we got to stay in one of the little cabins out side of the main lodge they made a good impression and wasn't your typical motel room. I would really rate this establishment a 3.5 stars (Four because theirs no 1/2 option) and because it was clean. We will try other places on our next visit, but this is defiantly a safe choice.
