The Lodge at Creel Hotel & SPA

Excellent great hotel. Stayed here for 2 nights and I would not hesitate to stay here again. Very good restaurant with warm service. The rooms are large. Must try the pizza made with Mennonite cheese. Located on the Main Street. The hotel offers a shuttle to the train station. It is a short walk but not if you are carrying a bunch of bags. Great job Lodge.

Above all, the cleanliness is my selling point and The Lodge was pristine clean. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again.

We were greeted at reception with an enthusiastic staff. Adrian, the manager, was super helpful throughout our 2-night stay. The food in the bar and restaurant was exceptional (large portions, more than we could eat). The grounds were clean and the rooms were beautiful. The showers had a major water temperature fluctuation issue that could be improved upon. The proximity to the main street and stores was awesome. We did not take a tour using the lodge nor did we use the spa or fitness center, so I can’t comment to that. The transport to the train station was organized. We highly recommend this establishment!

The beer was cold but the pizza was nothing to write home about. We had the Mennonite pizza and it was bland and unexciting.

The hotel is centrally located in the town , there are shops and restaurants near by and the railway station is close. The rooms are eclectic. We had a tasty lunch in the restaurant and there is a good choice for breakfast which starts early to accommodate the early departure of the train

Comfortable, charming. Not much English spoken here but everyone is very friendly. The heating system is weird and difficult but they send a very nice person to quickly come and explain it. Our room was well-furnished and very pleasant. Good location, too!

We spent three nights at the Creel Lodge. The cabins where we stayed are a bit dark and dated, but the bed was comfortable. The restaurant food was very good particularly the lamb dishes and the fresh home made pizzas. There is a great micro brewery on site which is definitely worth a taste. We also enjoyed the pool table!

This newly renewed hotel is great. The rooms are spacious and clean. I love that, besides the usual soap and body lotion, they provide a sewing kit and a toothbrush. The staff is friendly and helpful. Amazing food. We will definitely stay there again.

So far so good, the travel agent set us up in this centralized location. It's really close to the train station and all the shops. My wife and I did enjoy our stay. The front desk was hit or miss with english speaking counter person, either way they were happy to please. The restaurant attached in the Best Western was OK, there are better places up the street. Our dishes were very light on the portions. The coffee is strong so this might be a plus? The room was nice, i'm glad we got to stay in one of the little cabins out side of the main lodge they made a good impression and wasn't your typical motel room. I would really rate this establishment a 3.5 stars (Four because theirs no 1/2 option) and because it was clean. We will try other places on our next visit, but this is defiantly a safe choice.
