The Lodge at Jaguar Reef

Spent the second half of our honeymoon here (first half at Sleeping Giant). We had an amazing time at the beach after an adventure filled stay in the rainforest. ||Our beachfront Villa had gorgeous views, the beach was beautiful and we enjoyed the complimentary kayaks and paddle boards. Big Dock Bar was our favorite and we spent hours lounging there. Location was great and we were able to use the complimentary bikes to go to town and we were also able to walk to a couple local restaurants. ||The staff and service was incredible, they made our stay extra special! ||Shout out to: ||Elroy (security, super helpful and cheerful, always answered questions) |Joseph (concierge, made our honeymoon extra special with creative touches in the room, took care of us the entire time ) |Captain Larry (positive ray of sunshine, gave me a flower everyday, helpful with luggages)|Lucas (delicious watermelon margaritas and all around great bar tender)|Brandon and Jerry ( pool and big dog bar tenders, delicious drinks)

This place is amazing. My husband and I went here for a couples getaway. The staff is amazing and the property is beautiful. Captain Larry is a true star and always gave great energy when we saw him. Joseph was amazing as well, he gave great recommendations and made us feel home. Robin and Tyrik at the front desk were always there to help. We will definitely be back. Worth the values. My only drawback is that the food on the resort is not the best, but many other options around the resort.

Tarik and Kayla helped make sure everything was going well for us. The whole resort staff was amazing but captain larry really stood out to us. He always made sure we had everything we needed plus some. This was a great ending to our honeymoon. We went on a snorkeling and light tackle fishing tour with Chris and he was very knowledgeable and friendly to be around. Mike was our captain for snorkeling and he did a great job. Would definitely stay here again. It was so peaceful and well maintained. The beach was very clean. The food was amazing. Everyone is super welcoming and goes above and beyond for any needs.

10/10 on all: experience, staff, food, pools, sand/beach, and hang out spots. The lodge at jaguar reef is a dreamy place to spend time at during a special occasion. The staff love their jobs and work quickly to meet every need you come up against. The whole town of Hopkins will treat you like family if you are willing to say hello! We stayed in Villa B which was absolutely beautiful, 10 steps to the beach and restaurant at the resort. You can take a free bike ride up/down the village to a convenience store, coffee shop, ATM and fresh fruit stands. Going out to the waterfalls and coral reels are worth every dollar! We loved this trip and plan to bring our young son soon because it was so safe and friendly.

An astonishing view of the sea. Poolside entertainment and food. All went well. Nothing negative about our rooms. What was unusual was the fact that there was a little pool in our room. What a trip we went to! We ended off the trip by having a delicious breakfast combo. One of my favorite trips to Hopkins.

The Lodge at Jaguar Reef is our favorite place to stay when we visit Hopkins and this trip was no exception! The rooms are always clean and comfortable and we especially appreciated the special touch of the birthday decorations. The food and drinks at the restaurant are first class, and all the staff are friendly, helpful, and welcoming. We also love the peaceful, laid-back atmosphere which makes here the perfect spot to relax and rejuvenate. We especially want to thank Assistant Manager Delvin Monroy for helping to make our stay unforgettable!

We had an amazing stay at The Lodge. The staff (Julio, Kayla, Priscilla, Heidi, and Erlin) were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Captain Larry was a constant source of good humor and vibes. Lucas and Roberto (Cracki) at the dock bar were nothing but kind and helpful. Nothing but good things to say!

As a girlie who loves to staycation in her own country, I felt compelled to write a review for our experience at the Jaguar Reef Lodge because it did stand out. We came for a little girls weekend getaway and it was everything we needed and more! There are some people who really stood out to us: Julio at the concierge who had such welcoming energy and attentiveness throughout our entire stay, Andy our waiter: excellent service everyday, and Marvin at the Dock Bar with his award winning cocktails made us feel so special and has become a great new friend, we had planned on venturing out but we ended up enjoying our time here so much we found no need. And the room was stunning! We appreciated all the locally sourced detailing and of course our heated plunge pool. Just like every other resort in The Belize Collection, beautiful attention to detail and exceptional service, I couldn’t have felt more cared for and we can't wait to be back and recommend to our friends, family and clients.
