Wow, after taking the tim to read these reviews of this establishment, we will definitely be looking for different accommodations. We will be traveling from California to Sagle to visit family who have moved into the area. Since we are going there to see them and their kids, and this place has policies in order that DO NOT allow anyone other than paying guests to visit, and at one time also let a previous guest meander through their room without the new guests consent, (which i find quite disturbing) We will DEFINITELY be looking for a better stay somewhere else. To those who have had to suffer through these atrocities and have their vacations ruined, I am so sorry. Upon 1st glance, this place seemed like a dream come true. But once you peel back the layers like and onion... You find it to be rotten. I hope policies and or management changes the way they do business. Our family is large and we will be frequenting the area, but never here.

This beautiful lodge is in an amazing location but everything after that is below average. The biggest disappointment is “breakfast”. You should not call that meager sustenance placed on top of a random sill a breakfast. Overall, not impressed for the price they charge. Also, keep in mind non lake facing rooms are dark and will need the lights turned on at all hours of the day.

We enjoyed our two night weekend stay. Beautiful view of the lake. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well furnished. Great access to Sandpoint right over the bridge. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and appreciative of our stay. We will return.

Lodge does not have hot tub or restaurant. Meager breakfast offerings. Room over priced. No microwave in room. Only one chair. Bed okay. Desk lady friendly. Saw only one staff person on duty during 2 days. Parking lot empty. Appears owners are neglecting this property.

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay. Had a King room on the lake level with direct walkout access to the beautiful sand beach. Live music from Forty One South next door made for a relaxing evening lakeside while the sun set. Room was very clean and everything worked as it should. Staff was friendly and helpful although we didn’t have many interactions as our stay was absent if any problems. There were several families staying with children as well. And yet we didn’t hear any noise. I was pretty impressed with the sound insulation in the rooms. We will definitely stay again.

On a recent motorcycle ride we ran over a nail and got a flat. We pulled into the Lodge at Sandpoint and the owners were kind enough to let us use their parking lot while we arranged for a repair/pick up (we had to leave the bike overnight). They were extremely kind and we are so grateful for their graciousness. While inside talking to the gal at the front desk I was able to see the deck over looking the lake - it was BEAUTIFUL. So, while we didn't stay at the lodge, the kindness extended to us was amazing and very appreciated. Excellent customer service. Thank you!

The lodge is beautiful. Their photos don't do it justice. Huge wooden beams. Comfortable seating out on the huge main deck overlooking the lake. Our room was on the lake as well and our large balcony was very private - no other room can see in. I think every balcony is like that - they staggered the rooms to provide privacy.||||The front desk staff were excellent. We had a car issue and the place they recommended was great. Recommended restaurants were great. Recommended coffee place that grinds their own was great.||||Loved the gas fireplace (it rained for most of the three days we were there).||||In front of the lodge down by the lake is a large patio area with reclining chairs, and a small sandy beach, plus a swim dock anchored out in the lake. Nice if it hadn't been raining.

It's a nice property in a beautiful setting. The lake view was great. The rooms are very nice but it must be the off season. Rooms weren't available because there wasn't anyone to clean them until the next day. The free breakfast had a lot of variety but not great quality and the milk was warm and had gone sour. The bathroom had double shower heads but you can only use one at a time.
