The Loft Beach Front

The loft is one of the many dining options in the La concha resort. It isn’t a terrible option but out of the other dining choices within the hotel and outside of it, I wouldn’t necessarily recommend. The food is okay. The options are somewhat limited - esp if you don’t like/allergic to eggs. the best part is the view but it’s not worth dining in to see it. The servers are friendly enough but the service is somewhat slow. Recommendation: three egg omelet Avoid: bistec

I've never had a $44 breakfast buffet before and now I probably won't have one again because it was pretty average. The atmosphere was airy, open and fresh. The server was amazing. Everything was beautiful and nice. I don't mind paying more for a meal I just kind of expect delicious. Service and environment aren't enough when your food is overall unremarkable.

Had a great breakfast served by Natalie. We sat outside on the deck overlooked the beach and the shell. Way quieter than all the street side restaurants. Please note however: you need to enter through the front door of the hotel you will not be allowed access via the beach entrance.

Located inside La Concha Hotel it is very convenient for guest that are looking for a sit down breakfast. They have menu items as well as a buffet. We had the buffet. The choices were limited on egg choice of only scrambled. They had a couple of protein items like bacon and sausage. They had an assortment of breads and pastries. They did have a few fruit along with a small selection of cheeses with sliced deli meats. There was a chocolate chip pancake cut into small triangles and an assortment of pre-packaged cereal. Overall fine for on the run buffet but for the price it needs improvement. Will try the menu items to see if that is better.

We had a nice brunch here yesterday with a beautiful view of the ocean and the pools at La Concha hotel and resort. The service was excellent and the food fine. I'm just perplexed as to why it's so expensive!! I understand it's a beautiful location but it's more expensive than Manhattan with $18 cocktails and $22 omlettes. I wouldn't return for this reason.

Couldn’t afford to stay at this beautiful hotel but I took an Uber from my air b n b to make sure I enjoy the spectacular views and food. The beach was very rough but it was beautiful. Took a long walk along the beach side and it was worth the day trip

$20 for a Lox no side...$17 for 2 eggs with toast no meat! Super over priced for average food.. friendly staff but wouldn't go back. Wasn't anything to write home about.. also the ac was dripping above the open water jugs that was being served to the guests. I give it a 6 out of 10 for the view and staff friendliness.

Excellent service, great for brunch, high quality food flavor and quality

Outside seating is beautiful! Birds are brazen here so they'll fly on the table which can get a little annoying if you are not prepared. Very similar to the New York pigeons, if you know what I mean. Service was a bit slow, but the view offers plenty of distraction. Great options if you are a platinum or titanium member. Everything on the menu is available up to $44 per person with this membership. You are allowed a plus one also. Highly recommended if you are in the San Juan area.

Had breakfast here as I was staying at the hotel. The buffet did not look worth $44. I love a bougie over priced hotel brunch but this one did not look like it justified the price. I went with the eggs Benedict and a glass of Orange juice. The Benedict was perfectly fine. It could have used more flavor. I added salt and pepper. The meal came out very quickly which I appreciated. Wished I had some potatoes with it. I was seated on the poolside balcony. The beach side balcony was very small and full when I arrived. They also have an inside dining room. If you need a quick breakfast in your hotel this place is fine but I would not seek it out for a meal.

Excellent menu items like pina colada pancakes and salmon and avocado Benedict. Gluten free options. Good coffee. Great view.

Bubbles and brunch was decent if you count the beautiful beach view. That's all it has going for it. It was suggested through a travelers group so we decided to try it out. We made reservations a month in advance. It was advertised for Moet Mimosas and food 50. All of this pretty much wasn't true. But what's worse than overpaying for basic foods, is paying for food that was tasteless. I tried to be on the safe side and order something that anyone could cook. So I bought the all American. Nope I was wrong they still managed to mess that up. The eggs weren't fluffy or seasoned. The pancakes tasted like air with a hint of banana. The bacon was delicious though. The French fries were the best part of my meal which is sad. I would never recommend anyone to go to there brunch. Honesty, Burger King may be better. Service: the hotel attendant was rude and questioned our reservations even after showing her the confirmation. The server was nice but had to send order back to be fixed. Don't eat here. It sucks.

Decided to go here for brunch thinking it was Sunday but it was Monday (vacation brain)...they closed at 11 but they happily seated us at 10:51 with no issue. Excellent food and great staff! Beautiful outdoor patio...I definitely recommend! Only thing I would have changed is going here more than once!

Paid $40 for one side of French fries and one cocktail. Besides that, every other menu item that was ordered by someone at my table was BEYOND overpriced. I will not be back. Spend your time at any other place in San Juan.

Jose was amazing he took care of us along with our waiter. The food was good and the endless mimosas hit the spot. I wish we stayed here in general because the hospitality was great.

The breakfast buffet was definitely plentiful (bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, fresh cut fruit, assorted breads and pastries, "cornstarch" (like oatmeal but way better). They also have an omelet station for made-to-order omelets. There was a breakfast "bread" on the buffet that tasted like a very moist, very decadent pound cake with frosting. Soooo yummy!! The coffee was really good as well. Our server was super sweet and attentive. There is a complimentary "green juice" that is tasty & refreshing. It's pineapple/cucumber/spinach. You should try the local PR fruit tamarind. It's odd looking but oh so yummy!! It's sweet & tangy... with a date like texture. You can see the ocean from most tables in the restaurant. I highly recommend The Loft breakfast buffet.

I will say the omelets were really good. No major complaints, but just a standard omelet for a restaurant that boasts its "brunch and bubbles." We walked in and were sort of greeted by staff walking by but were given no clear directives as to where to go. Did we seat ourselves? Should we wait to be seated? I asked if we could sit outside and they pointed to some tables across the room, but then I saw a table on the balcony facing the beach so we sat there. Once we sat we scanned the QR code for the menu and just waited. Different waitresses came onto the balcony to meet the needs of the 2 tables that were there before us, but no one came to our table. Eventually I just flagged one of them down and asked to order. That was pretty much the tone for the entire meal. When you need something you go find somebody and look high and low to do so. There was at least one time where my SO had to wave someone down through the glass window. Like, I just wanted milk for my coffee. Food itself was decent enough to come back, the service was pretty terrible, and the prices were not reflective of the quality. They couldn't beat the view though.

I have not written a bad review for a restaurant before but I feel I need to here. By far the worst service ever. Do not waste your time. It took almost 3 hours to get food - two people in our table of six did not get food until we had to ask 3 separate times to see what was taking so long. We ended up asking to have the last two plates taken off the bill, as they still were not served once the other four finished our meals. The waitress did not even attempt to fix the situation. The final two plates were finally brought out and they weren't what was ordered. The waitress was extremely condescending even arguing with us about not taking food off the bill. She pulled the plate out of my friends hand as she didn't want to serve her once she asked to not pay. The restaurant was not even busy. This is the worst service I have ever had. Zero stars do NOT come here if you are trying to have a relaxing meal.

Typical over priced Marriott buffet. $48 for adults, 28 for children. extremely overpriced. I had to request someone to staff the omelette station 3x.. come on $48 and i need to eat hours old scrambled eggs out of a chaffing dish?? Get you staff to their stations to work on time.l i want my eggs over easy.

What an amazing dinner! Carlos Gomez s an outstanding waiter! His recommendations were spot on. From the wine, diplomatica sipping rum, to the shrimp dumplings, Cornish hen, and the freshly caught fish. Chef Adam presented the amazing fish to our table. So happy we chose to eat at our hotel!

My partner and I visited this restaurant for brunch because based on their online menu and information, we were under the impression that they served a brunch buffet complete with mimosas for $50 per person. Upon arrival and being seated, we were given a QR code to scan to look at the menu. The menu had about 5-6 items to pick from and several drink options. I asked the our server were they no longer doing the brunch buffet and she said no due to COVID-19. So we find something from the menu to order and place our orders. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros and Mac and Cheese and my partner ordered the All American Breakfast. My Huevos Rancheros came out and it looked like someone just threw a burnt over medium egg on to of a pile of refried beans. I refer back to the picture of this entree on their IG page to refer each my memory of what it should actually look like and I realize that I don't have two of the main ingredients on my meal which were avocados and cilantro. I brought this to my servers attention and she said that they probably didn't have any fresh avocados and that she would bring me some cilantro. My partners food was literally COLD to the touch as if it had just sat in the kitchen for a very long time time waiting to be taken out. We asked the server for fresh fries because at that point my partner didn't even want the bacon and eggs which she LOVES. Our server knew that our experience with the food was mediocre at best and she tried her best to make our experience better. She was very pleasant and nice and went above and beyond for us by having my partners food removed from our tab, without us even asking her to, because she ended up eating none of it. Lastly, I will also say that the description of the atmosphere of the restaurant is misleading as well, as we were hoping to sit on a patio outside while having views of the beach. That wasn't available either. There was a big chain and lock on the door. Definitely would not return!

Poor menu, on Father's Brunch. They do not have many options to choose, and very expensive. Our first and last time in that place.

This is a beautifully set place to unwind after a long day on the beach. Vibrant music overlooking the resort pool. Limited menu options but all were excellent. Great service from Carlos and overall would highly recommend for a casual night. Would come back but we leave tomorrow!

The ambiance is great we sat indoors next to the window so the view of the beach was beautiful. HOWEVER, it's way over priced for what you're getting and the food is absolutely not worth the price. I ordered a bunrise burger for 23$, it's the only thing on the menu that I would pay the same price had it been anywhere else. The burger has avocado slices, and the slices were half way black and some of the slices were black and holey so I asked for fresh avocado, the server took a while so I took the avocado off the burger and took a bite of what should have been a medium burger and it was FULLY COOKED, WELL DONE, and dry, I asked for the burger to be cooked medium. When the server came to drop off the new slices of avocado I told her the burger was well done and I just didn't want it, instead of saying "sorry is there anything else I can get you?" She snatched the plates off the table and walked off. At NO POINT DID SHE ASK ME IF I WANTED ANYTHING ELSE, my boyfriend had to get her attention to come back to the table and HE requested a different plate to which I said NO. I don't want any service from this place at all I'd rather eat eggs from the corner cafe. Don't waste your money.

Absolutely EXCELLENT!!! Carlos and Ralph took the best care of us. Our cocktails were gourmet and made with special attention. It's a shame that the hotel La Concha doesn't push this restaurant more because it should be packed out every night. If we ever come back to San Juan we will definitely look for Ralph and Carlos at The Loft! Time to put the phone down and order another drink!!!

Would give no stars if possible. My wife and I went here for Easter bunch. The service was terrible. Waited over twenty minutes for a server to come over and then had to ask three times for drinks. The food was has bad had the service. The bacon was burnt. The potatoes covered in grease The fruit was old. The bread on the hamburger sliders needed a hammer to break. And the same server we had to track down for drinks quickly drops a check for 132.00 for bunch!!! The place is a rip off!!! Stay far,far away!!!
