British Columbia Is One of the Best Places to Backcountry Ski — Here Are the Top Mountains and Resorts

"I passed the Longhorn Saloon back in Whistler Village and watched a guy spray champagne into a willing crowd, a reminder of the town's rowdy après scene." - Tim Neville

Google
I've got good things to say about the Longhorn Saloon in Whistler British Columbia. You don't go to the Longhorn to save money, in fact x2 expresso martini's and a club sandwich cost 80 dollars Canadian. you don't go to the Longhorn for exceptional service, although the service was adequate. You honestly go to the Longhorn for the AMAZING atmosphere. Large outdoor seating area, table top fire pits to sit around for everyone, sets the mood for Whistler rain or shine or snow ❄️, exciting, romantic in a sense, fun, depending on the season it can be a giant packed outdoor party, sometimes with a DJ or other form of entertainment. Inside the restaurant, spacious, and has that country party house saloon feel. If you visit Whistler BC, especially if it's snowing and your looking for a drink, cold beer, burger after the slopes or before, you definitely want to be able to say you've been to the Longhorn, check it out!!

The drinks are the star of the show at longhorn. They have plenty of options and are great after biking/skiing. The food is pretty standard pub fare with a few healthier options available as well. The main issue we had is that some of the tables were still notably dirty even after being wiped down. The fire tables are great when you can get one and the patio space is very nice to sit and enjoy the last of the sunshine. Overall it was a pretty standard experience for pub fare and the location is great for those coming off the mountain or just wanting a good view.

Google
Server did not mention that the shot ski cost $25 and they charged the 4/$20 shots individually at $7 each. I think that their pricing is misleading at best. They have good music and a good vibe, but beware hidden costs.

Jenna C.

Google
Better to have a reservation on a Saturday and Sunday however, do not be fooled, you can still get a table.... inside. 20 dollar cover which I thought was ridiculous, but you are paying for the vibe, so once in I was okay with it. Our waitress Reegan was amazing. The food was good but it's really all about the vibe here for an apres ski! So fun!

Google
Longhorn Saloon is the place to be in Whistler! Awesome energy, great music, and a fun atmosphere right at the base of the mountain. The drinks are strong, the food hits the spot, and the patio views are unbeatable. Perfect for après-ski or just hanging out with friends. Always a good time!

Google
I celebrated my birthday here and overall had a fantastic experience. The food and drinks were spot on, the wait staff was great, but the real star of the show was Zion. He made us feel incredibly welcomed and took care of us like no one else. Honestly, we’d come back just for him. Thanks for the great time!

Google
We arrived at 2:00 pm hoping to get a good seat outside for apres ski, and when we arrived there were about 1/3 of the outdoor tables were not reserved and empty. They said they would be "getting busy" and that they could only seat us inside. Pretty sure that the only reason we were not seated outside was because we were getting a table with our dad and his partner who are in their 60s, and they were wanting to keep the outdoor tables for younger people to contribute to the "vibe". The prices are way too high and the service was bad in addition to this, I don't think we will ever go back.

Google
Omgggg go see Brad at longhorn. He is a sweet baby angel and also a Scorpio prince. He gave us such an incredible experience for my best friends bachelorette. Couldn’t have asked for a better server. We wish we could take him home!!!! Xoxoxo - xoxox, an Aquarius

Yelp
We came here at around 6pm on a Monday before Canada Day to grab a drink and watch the mountain bikers. First impression was that we didn't seem to be their target audience as a middle aged couple - although the place was relatively empty we were seated in the middle-back away from everyone else who were younger. We could have asked for different seats so not faulting anyone - it was just amusing. Nonetheless, service was prompt and friendly. Drinks were very sweet - cruise ship style, and a bit overpriced. We didn't get any food and were relatively in and out, but the food others were getting looked satisfying.

Yelp
It's a good spot fun atmosphere food doesn't suck or drinks but if your solo and have to go pee they will take your drink even if it's half full. So bring friends or make some.

Yelp
Aside from an extremely pleasant server, our lunch at the Longhorn was a very disappointing experience. A good portion of their menu was listed as "unavailable", which really limited our options. Because of this, we ordered two appetizers (cheese sticks and wings). The cheese sticks were okay (not bad, not great), but the wings were very small, and quite overcooked/dry. After we left, we heard from a number of locals that the Longhorn is NOT the place to go. Again, our server was a great young lady and made our lunch as nice as possible. Unfortunately, for $100, the kitchen failed miserably. We would be hard pressed to give them a second try.

Yelp
Longhorns is quite fun. If you like to party and drink with your friends and unwind after a long day of skiing, then this is the place for you! Their food is mediocre but you dont need 5 star food when drinking. Their service here is great. Fast, super friendly, and they help you decide on what to order if you're not sure what you're feelin. We would come back here with our friends again. It seems like quite the popular hang out spot each night.

Yelp
"Ain't no longhorn cows in Texas, Ain't a cowboy hat in Dallas, If I ain't in love with you" (Charlie Daniels) While organizing a dinner for thirteen, I wasn't having much success in calling Longhorn or using their website, so I resorted to the old fashioned way and walked over to speak with someone face to face. We met with the manager who assured us he'd get us a big table on the outdoor patio. Well, when we walked over the next night, the table was all set up, but so was the DJ booth blaring REAL LOUD club music for the patio. There was no way our group would be able to chat with each other, so we were quickly hustled off to a big table inside. Their menu is very deep and has an interesting pricing wrinkle a two tiered pricing structure for regular customers and a lower price if you are a subscriber to their "Apres Ski" package. That costs $99 CAD and you'll get reduced pricing for one year. I ordered a Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich for 25.00 CAD. Had I been an Apres Ski member, that would have knocked the price down to $20.00 CAD My sandwich was excellent - a Fried Crispy Chicken Breast tossed in Nashville hot sauce, with coleslaw, pickles, and sriracha mayo served on a potato scallion bun. Our server did an admirable job taking care of our thirteen hungry and thirsty conventioneers.

Yelp
This may undoubtedly be the spot for aprés and a good time. It's also undoubtedly not much of a place for families with small kiddos. I vaguely remember this being more of a party spot from my now very distant Whistler partying days but since they weren't busy at all and we saw other families eating, we decided to pop in. When we asked for a high chair/booster we were promptly told "we don't do those." Huh? Ok. We're pretty easygoing so I made do with putting my kiddo in my lap but definitely something to consider if you're a family with kids. This is the first big restaurant/pub I've ever been to that doesn't offer some seating solution for young kids. I would totally understand if being a family-friendly spot isn't the vibe they're trying to attract but there were other families there with slightly older kids and they're not a 19+ establishment until later on in the day so it definitely left me a little rattled. Their food is standard pub food, nothing to call home about. My one major beef though is with their avocado tacos. $20 for 3 measly little flour tortillas that are topped each with one slice of avocado, some bagged grocery store coleslaw and a drizzle of sauce. This dish is an abomination to vegetarians/vegans and, quite frankly, to tacos.

Yelp
Location cannot be beat here, right beside the Whistler mountains! Came here during the superbowl after a long day of snowboarding in the mountains. We didn't have any reservations so we lined up at around 2:30PM to try to snag a table. Luckily for us, we were the second group in line for a walk in table and was seated right next to the large projection screen where the superbowl would have been played. We asked about the other tables around us as we were quite curious, and most of them were already booked and had a HUGE spending minimum, in the thousands per table. Bottles were also very expensive here, club pricing in Toronto. I get it, it's the location and the date that we were there on. Our server was great and attentive. Food is definitely on the mediocre side here but you're here for the vibe and experience. Food and drinks are definitely very expensive so expect to be paying a pretty penny when you're here. Loud music, lazers and smoke are played during our time here. You can find people dancing on their chairs and having a great time here. Overall our party had an amazing time here during the superbowl even though we were outside for five hours in the rain/snow, it was all worth it!

Yelp
Came here 3 times during my stay at Whistler - once for breakfast, post-snowboarding, and for the Apres event. Located right at the foot of the hill, you can't miss this place. I don't have pictures of the breakfast sandwiches, but they were pretty decent for the size and price you pay for. Plus on the first day where I sat by the fire outside and enjoyed the views, wasn't a bad meal at all! Post-snowboarding, the poutine is just poutine haha. But the chicken salad that my friend ordered looked pretty decent! Service is okay, given how many people they have to tend to it's understandable. The apres is like no other party. The apres beer draft was pretty great, I got the hazy IPA selection. Great music, great vibes especially after a day of hitting the slopes. Whether you come here for breakfast, lunch or the apres, you can guarantee good music will be playing and that's what I liked the most about this place!

Yelp
I was mentally done snowboarding and needed a drink! Longhorn was the first spot I noticed as soon as I came down the mountain, so I figured this is the place! They check your ID when you enter and stamp your hand. It felt like entering a nightclub without an entrance fee. I sat facing the beautiful Whister Mountain while ordering a double vodka club soda (lime) and their Fried Chicken Bao Buns. Food was pretty good! The place was chill before, but after an hour later, the DJ blasted the music louder and place was poppin'! Felt like I needed to stand and start fist pumping! I don't think I'm weaksauce, but not really strong either when it comes to drinking. At the end of being there, I had 4 double Titos vodka club soda's, which means it's about 8 shots of vodka), but wasn't even buzzed which I found interesting and disappointing because I spent over $100. Overall, it was a fun spot and definitely recommend checking out! If you have Apres Pass, you can get 20% discount!

Yelp
I came here for après with my co-workers. We had a blast! Longhorn's location can't be beaten- it's right beside the mountain. You can walk in your ski boots and dump your board or skis outside. We came on St. Patty's day, and the drinks were flowing; this place definitely passed the vibe check. I've never seen so many people dancing on tables, the DJ blasted us with smoke throughout the set, and I particularly enjoyed the flair the champagne guns brought to the experience. W A R N I N G A R N I N G to anyone with sensory issues or sensitivities: omg, this place was louder than a concert- so prepare yourself. Loop earplugs and Bose noise-canceling headphones wouldn't have been enough to make me feel like my sensory issues were taken care of. I had a great time, but I would likely never do this again as it's not the type of scene I usually pursue. That said, I had a great time, and I'm glad I went even though my ears were ringing for a full day after. I wouldn't recommend trying to come for après without a reservation. Our servers were excellent and dealt with our group of about 40 people with grace, kindness, and good attention to detail.

Yelp
Great for apres ski!!! Think outdoor club vibe...DJ...young folks dancing on chairs! Avo fries are delicious...a must order if you love avocados! Cowboy brisket sandwich was very copious...stud burger was ordered and also very satisfying. No light food options ordered at our table but the do have salads for those interested! Highly recommend that you arrive by 3 pm if you want a table without a Rez. Reservations require a table min of $1560 min Canadian. If you are traveling with a group. Highly recommend that you anti up for the reservations and secure one of their fire tables. Super cool!

Yelp
Only come here for the Apres event around 3:30pm. On the weekends it can be fun and exciting with crowds jumping on tables. Service here is slow, prices are high for drinks and food. The quality of food and drinks are pretty good but you can get similar food for cheaper at other pubs and restaurants nearby.

Lucius T.

Yelp
Drinks were some of the best I have ever had! Victoria especially made the experience even better with her killer customer service! Thanks you

Kamini S.

Yelp
This is the place to come if you're looking for some Apres Ski! There is such a fun atmosphere here - everyone is dancing on tables and ready to have a good time after a long day on the mountains. You can get a champagne gun or shots on skis (for an extra free of course) There's a live DJ as well! It seems like the most fun bar right by the ski resort. I will say the drinks are pricey. We only ordered jagerbombs which we enjoyed. This doesn't seem like a place to get food, mostly just to drink! Service was great, our server diligently kept checking on us. The DJs were mostly playing EDM with a mix of hits and less well known songs. Only not a 5* because the DJ refused my music recommendations (was not friendly enough to even listen to them) I did come in May and it was easy to get a table. In peak winter, there's usually a long line to enter.

Yelp
nfl Sunday: great big screen options music: horrible I V vi IV pop/singer-songwriter drivel, slightly too loud

Yelp
This is a more accessible version of Cloud 9 at Aspen that probably accommodates 5x as many people. The aprés party (I suggest a 2:30pm or 3pm seating) goes on for much longer than most groups can realistically "rage" for and the music is top tier. Some negatives: The food is basic, mediocre mountain fare. It's a party with serious energy, but the complete and absolute "buy in" that you get at the more intimate Cloud 9 isn't quite present. We were there on a Friday which was observably less energetic than a Saturday--at least a quarter of groups were too meek to stand on their chairs and I really don't think there were more than 15 bottles popped. The trek to the bathroom is as inconvenient as it possibly could be, so avoid wearing your ski boots by any means possible. Service was flawless as it was friendly, and the rest of the staff does a good job of preventing unnecessary hazards or bad behavior. At the most premium price--$2500 CAD minimum for a prime table for 8 people--this experience needs to be on the radar of any group that can afford to fly across the country to ski at Whistler. Considering that there are nightlife-oriented clubs in Whistler and that I visited several of them, a late afternoon at Longhorn should be the crown jewel of your trip; it was for mine.

Yelp
Baby back ribs were dry and bony. It was presented in chopped up short ribs and not a slab as we are familiar with for baby back ribs. The meat is tough and chewy and a real disappointment. The poutine was correct. The trail bowl with chicken was tasty. The hazy on tap was skunked and we exchanged to a pale ale from Deep Cove and unremarkable. The ambiance is great with fire table.

Chloe A.

Yelp
I have never met a more rude group of servers in my life. I was yelled at at every moment of being here, telling me I couldn't stand where I was. I paid a 50 dollar cover fee and was told I couldn't be anywhere. And the employees weren't nice about telling us to move, we were screamed at. With how much I'm paying to be here, I'm expecting better service. You also shouldn't allow this many people to be in one area if you're gonna yell at everyone to move. I felt off put the entire time I was here. Will not be coming back, the employees ruined my experience.
google avatar

Julie B.

Yelp
Great location to watch bikes in the summer or skiers in the winter. However, the service was really bad. All the mistakes kept getting blamed on "there's a lot of new people here". Food was mediocre. Lots of other options in the village to choose from.
google avatar

Mark W.

Yelp
Jacqueline is the best! We had a large group come in over a staggered time and we had a great time. The music was fun, the dancing on chairs was fun, the bouncers were friendly and courteous, the food was pretty standard barfare so we got nachos and they did the job, but mostly our server was awesome. She recommended great drinks, kept track of the moving pieces of our group, and made us feel very welcome.

Yelp
The Longhorn is a Whistler favorite, that's for sure, you can't beat its slope side location, but the service, food, and loud music sometimes leave a bit to be desired. We come to Whistler every December and nearly always stop by the Longhorn for either lunch or apres. This year we visited on a particularly chilly Tuesday for lunch. We started outside at one of the fireplace tables, but that wasn't keeping us warm, so we moved inside. It was a bit odd being inside (it's be 10+ years since we sat inside). There were a lot of staff on the clock (a bunch of young men were in some kind of training) and the nearly 10 lady servers were all mulling about (it was a quiet lunch hour). It was kinda dark and apart from staff, pretty empty, so it just felt pretty different from the was things usually are at the Longhorn. Since the food is pretty pricy and not always that best, we stuck to beer and appetizers. I had the fried chicken bao buns and my companion had the chicken wings. Both were pretty good, we would choose both again in the future.

Yelp
This place is wild on the weekend. They have a DJ and it gets crazy. The avocado tacos are delicious.

Yelp
Great staff , great beers , great place to watch a game . Staff was very friendly and attentive. Beers where ice cold and plentiful . The pub is huge and it is slow season but staff where all very friendly we had a great time . We where in town for the weekend and looking for somewhere to watch the hockey game . Staff where happy to change the TV's to our game and put it up on the bog screen . The only downside was the kitchen was down and we couldn't order food . Otherwise we enjoyed our evening and had a great time

Timothy S.

Yelp
The service was slow and the beer was mediocre. The location was great as was the view.

Yelp
Electric apres with very fun staff. We made a reservation & we're very happy we did! The food was decent & the atmosphere was incredible.

Yelp
Hey all..!! Been coming here for 10 years and never had a bad time! But this year we got a table paying $200 for the table and $1600 to spend for a 4 person table. We kept ordering drinks, Double tequila pineapple and me personally had over 12-15 double drinks. After that I felt I need to say something when I wasn't even buzzed or "drunk" , we called the manager over to tell him how is it that if I have 12 drinks double and he "stated maybe you have a high tolerance" we asked him to taste or sample the drinks to see if they are doubles. He stated he will give us extra shots. We told him that's not the point, if we paying for drinks as a double and there is some dirtiness going with the pours, so long story is that longhorns has become a criminal organization to making money and basically charging you for things they don't provide. I figured Canadians are honest people, but not sure if it's Canadians or just the ownership of longhorns but watch out and don't get ripped off, they should be investigated for fraud and stealing from its customers.

Yelp
Definitely not a place I'll go back. We sat down right after coming off the gondola because it's conveniently located and we were able to walk in with our ski boots. It's hard to miss it because they are always blasting the music and it's extremely loud. We were seated at a table without an umbrella even though there were several tables open with them. It started raining so we moved to the next table with an umbrella. We sat there for about 30 min and no one ever came. Finally we flagged down a waitress who apologized but service was still bad afterwards. After getting our food she didn't come back until well after we were done and we asked for bill quickly so we could leave. Other than the terrible service, food wasn't bad. They have a good selection of warm alcoholic drinks. The longhorn coffee was excellent. The mac and cheese bites were good and the truffle aioli was super good. The tables with the firepits apparently have to be reserved in advance. The inside is dark and dreary and the bathroom is quite a hike down in the lodge.

Luben J.

Yelp
A great establishment that is equipped to serve all your needs, from food to alcohol, to fun. Friendly and awesome staff (Rebecca) too. must check out spot!
google avatar

Inna R.

Yelp
This place has LONG lines after the runs are closed for the day. You can book a table in advance, which is best to do for groups. We had a group of 8 outside and let me tell me you I lost my voice from talking. This place is loud (more of a party scene) made for drinking and dancing after a long day at the slopes. Beware the nachos are huge but don't taste that great (see other reviews). It was good to experience this place but I am not in a rush to go back.

A L.

Yelp
Pros: -Good/loud music, fun atmosphere -Attentive server Cons: -Literally scammed us for a cover $10 each at 230pm when we tried to join our group already inside. No on else (arriving before or after me) was charged at the door. Predatory behavior. -Soooooooooooo over priced. Mediocre food at best. -They keep the line long outside to appear more exclusive when the inside is most likely 70% empty. SO glad we did not reserve a table ahead of time, they tried to charge us $1500 for a group of 8 lol. I recommend just taking your money to a nearby store and buying 10x the food and alcohol and throw a party at home :)

Yelp
Longhorn Saloon was a blast Canada Days weekend. My girlfriend & I were visiting from Seattle. We stopped in for drinks & snacks Sat mid-afternoon. The music was pounding, perfect weather, and best part was our server Lena. Lena was super helpful & friendly. The bar couldn't serve us a French75 for some reason... I forget why. But Lena suggested serving us the individual ingredients for our own "DIY French75". Brilliant. And Lena was so great to chat with... super friendly and warm and made us feel welcome. Thanks Lena! We appreciate you!!!
google avatar

Jae Y.

Yelp
The atmosphere was good. Live DJ was really fun and the music was good. The staff seemed enjoying working there. Only reason for 2 stars is that we had hair in our salad. We sent it back and ordered something else. It was pretty gross as my bf actually had to spat out the food. Later, when the cheque came, we were told that the salad was not charged - not sure why that had to be explained. We did not have any other complimentary discount.

Teena D.

Yelp
I had lunch today at Longhorn Saloon and Grill. It was chilly but sunny and I sat on the patio. The view of the mountain was nice. I ordered The Classic burger (with no onions, lettuce or mayo) and had bacon added. It was a good burger, though the patty could have been warmer. I'm not a fan of fries but these were good. I'd get it again.
google avatar

Olivia M.

Yelp
Lena was amazing! Here for a birthday weekend and she made it so fun! #1 reason to come back!!!! 10/10 recommend!

Sarah J.

Yelp
We snagged a seat outside near the fire to watch a snowboard/ski competition. Had a perfect view and we were nice and toasty near the fire. Our server was very nice and came to check on us. I had the lone tree cider, and my friend got the hot chocolate drink. She was very impressed with it. Just a friendly reminder when sitting near the fires, do not put a plate or napkin near it. The wind blows and will catch the napkin, or any paper on fire. The girls that were on the other end of the fire table did that and their plate caught on fire and they had no clue. Don't worry, we put it out with whatever gravy they had left over from their food.
google avatar

Yelp
Went here in late February 2023. Had lunch here twice because my kid liked the food. She's 7 so her idea of good food is what you would expect of a young kid. They did tell us that we had to be out by 1 pm as minors are not allowed after 1. Had the baby back ribs and the pork bao buns. The ribs are dry and surprisingly did not have much meat. I know baby backs are smaller as I make them at home, but these ribs were so skinny on the meat, it was mostly bone. Flavor was good, just no meat and dry meat despite the layer of sauce on it. The buns sounded promising, but just one sad thin strip of pork belly in each. Mostly bun. Best thing I had was the soda. Would not come back to eat here again. It is convenient as it is right near the fitzsimmons lift. Location is the only thing going for it.
google avatar

Mohit M.

Yelp
This is a good place to hangout if you have money to shell out and if you are looking for good music. At the base of the Whistler mountain, it serves as an great drinking and dining spot for the folks coming back from slopes. They have outdoor seating if you want to enjoy some sun, and have ample seating space inside if you want to hide from snow or rain. Ambiance: 4/5 Food: 3/5 Price: 3/5 Service: 4/5 Food is ok, portions as small. Salsa was terrible, nothing but raw tomatoes. We asked the hostess for yelp 20% discount but she didn't include it in the final budget. Beer was great, but I'd not spend 40 bucks on food to complement good beer.
google avatar

Dexter L.

Yelp
Their Salt n Pepper Wings w/hot sauce on the side was amazing, and got it twice! Vibes were great after a full day of snowboarding, and they also had a live DJ. Just remember to get a stamp if you're leaving the area to go to the bathroom or take a smoke break.
google avatar

Fred L.

Yelp
Location? Great. Food? Meh. Music? Super loud. Seriously. Scantily dressed go-go dancers? Are you still stuck in 1970s? Offensive and out of time.
google avatar

Wilson L.

Yelp
Staff were incredible here, the breakfast we had was so good. Definitely would come back here again, also they had a huge mimosa tower which was amazing.

Paul S.

Yelp
Our absolute staple for a beer and nachos when we get to Whistler every year. This last summer was a bit different but fun nonetheless. Great people watch and easy to chat up other visitors.

Donnaleen M.

Yelp
An old favourite place! Great views of people, village and the mountain. Food is basic good fare. Beer selection good also.

Yelp
I don't usually ever write reviews. My gf and I were hungry. And even though it wasn't wing special nigjt I had had really good wings at longhorn. We got there at 8pm. Asked waitress if kitchen was open since not many people there's. She said I don't know and never returned. And couldn't tell us if they had a drink special???? I went to the bartender he said yes open till 10 pm. She came over after I flagged her down and said kitchen was open. We got two appetizers The wings were not at all the same wings I had Before and paying 17 dollars for the ginger beef looked like small black turds. In the end my We asked waitress to split our appie bill. She said I can't do that. So the worst wings and service cost both of us $23. To sit in a empty bar. No thanks

Will K.

Yelp
Service was ok, but food was abysmal. $46 for nachos that were NOT GOOD! Please spend your money somewhere else!

Yelp
We loved this place for both a quick bite at lunch while skiing and apres. It is a HOPPING place, partly because it's the closest place to the Whistler base! Nice fireside tables on the patio -to be honest, we never went inside. I wasn't overall excited about most of the food. Pretty basic, but the wings were terrific. Chips with guacamole and salsa were bland. I would have LOVED to try the nachos, but just couldn't get past a $30 price! Overall fun, relaxed, and perfect for apres ski!

Yelp
I have real mixed feelings about this place. First off, I loved the outdoor patio with the fire tables. Getting to sit outside around a fire and still feeling warm on a cold October night was a really unique experience. These tables are nice and big. We had no problem fitting our group of 10 around one. The inside doesn't have quite the same atmosphere however. I came back another night and the experience sitting indoors wasn't nearly as magical. There is nothing special about the decor at all. It's just a nondescript bar. The food was pretty standard. I enjoyed my veggie burger but it didn't stand out in any particular way. Some of my group were less satisfied. For instance, the caesar salads were under-sauced. When they complained and asked for extra dressing, the waitress didn't let us know that hey were going to be charged for it. She ended up taking it off the bill in the end but that was pretty ridiculous. There were also a couple drink orders that never arrived. I know serving a large group is never pleasant but it was very obvious that the Saloon was running on off-season staff levels. That being said, I would give it another chance during the busy season to see if it makes a difference.

Yelp
Used to be one of my fav haunts when in Whistler.....yesterday, was in line for a table with two friends. We waited in line for nearly 15 minutes while the door person, bypassed us numerous times to find four and five people behind us who were then allowed to enter. Luckily, one of the ladies at the reception desk, finally noted that we (and a couple of two in front of us) were waiting and she seated us.

I had an enchanting evening at the Longhorn - our waitress Bella is an absolute pistol
