The Best Resorts in Bermuda of 2024

"When you arrive at The Loren at Pink Beach, it’s immediately clear that this is a property where aesthetics are important. There’s a chicness to it that feels more appropriate for adult travelers; you’ll find Malin+Goetz amenities, marble bathrooms, and an impressive art collection that includes works from Tony Feher, Cornelia Parker, and Thomas Schutte." - Travel + Leisure Editors

"The Loren at Pink Beach Bermuda waited 45 years for a new-build hotel, but the Loren has proved worth it. Situated on eight acres fronting the turquoise sea near the center of the archipelago, the architecturally sleek luxury property eschews standard tropical patterns and pastel palettes in favor of warm modernism, with world-class art, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a sculptural glass staircase off the lobby. Each suite provides a plush landing thanks to marble baths with freestanding tubs and private terraces with ocean views, plus sumptuous Sferra towels and bath products by Malin + Goetz. For those who don’t want to drive the 20 minutes to Hamilton, the elegant seasonal cuisine at Marée (Bermudan baby greens with goat cheese croquettes and wild strawberries, local snapper with fava bean puree) exceeds expectations, and the botanical-infused treatments at the beachside spa will make the real world seem like a distant memory."

The Loren at Pink Beach, Smiths Parish, Bermuda - Hotel Review | Condé Nast Traveler

"Set the scene for us. No, you’re not in South Beach, but every inch of this ultra-chic hotel sure looks like it was lifted from that hip, Miami 'hood with its clean lines, glassed-in spaces, and slick modern design. In fact, everything about this place oozes sex appeal, which is why The Loren at Pink Beach has quickly become the hot place to stay in Bermuda since opening in 2017. Tell us more. The Loren is Bermuda’s newest hotel, so when it was first unveiled on the site of the former Pink Beach Club, the privately owned beachfront property had the island abuzz. After all, this was one of Bermuda’s first major hotel projects in more than a decade—one that put contemporary design at the forefront. No more would guests have to choose between corporate-owned beach resorts and traditionally furnished guesthouses. The Loren would offer a completely different experience: high-minded style meets Bermuda’s natural beauty. So how are the rooms? The suites are drop-dead gorgeous and kitted out with all the modern amenities you’d expect from a place like this. Marble bathrooms have freestanding tubs, rain showers, and Malin+Goetz toiletries; bedrooms feature crisp white linens, driftwood finish floors, and a pleasant gray palette; and spacious outdoor balconies allow that gorgeous ocean panorama to pour into the sunlit room. Is there a charge for Wi-Fi? There's free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. How are the drinking and dining options on the hotel grounds? The Pink Beach Club , one of Bermuda’s best new restaurants, does breakfast, lunch, and dinner with aplomb, complete with a blissful view of the Atlantic—the alfresco beachfront restaurant is completely open to the coastline on every side. Food here is fresh and often locally sourced, so trust that you won’t have to go very far for a very good meal—all reasons why it’s not uncommon to see well-dressed locals lingering over long lunches and breezy dinners. Prefer to sit inside? Then head to Maree, the clubby lounge and cocktail bar where you can shoot pool and enjoy small plates like crispy Korean chicken sliders, tuna tacos, and lobster spring rolls. And the service? The Loren is well-staffed by a courteous team of hotel professionals, many of whom have worked in the industry for years, so expect a high level of service throughout. What type of travelers will you find here? Scantily clad couples lounging near the infinity pool, cocktails in hand, and Instagram-addicted influencers taking selfies on the powdery pink-sand beach. What can we find in the surrounding neighborhood? Located near Tucker’s Town on the island’s east end, the hotel is about a 10-minute ride from the airport. It’s also a stone’s throw from two of the island’s top golf courses—Tucker’s Point Golf Course and the Mid Ocean Club, both of which are world-class—so if hitting the links is on your agenda, you’ll be well-positioned to make an early tee time. Any other hotel features worth noting? Ready for the ultimate five-hour splurge? Then head to the spa and request The Renew, a day-long package ($569) that includes a 50-minute deep-tissue massage, a 75-minute pore cleansing facial, lunch served poolside, and a citrus scrub mani-pedi (Champagne is optional). Why would you recommend this hotel? If you want to go to Bermuda but pretend you’ve landed in Ibiza, then this would be the place for you. Chic, sexy, and brand-spanking new, The Loren is one of the finest places to open on the island in years." - David LaHuta

My extended family and I stayed in the residence at the Loren in June 2025. We had the most incredible experience. The house itself is amazing! We slept 18 people on the property comfortably. There were also several large living spaces and the kitchen was beautiful. The kids spent the entire vacation either in the private pool or exploring the private beach. But honestly the best part of the experience was the staff. Nanni and Nathaniel were truly the most exceptional hospitality employees that we have ever encountered. They helped to arrange everything- dinner reservations, ride services, moped rentals- you name it, they do it. The kids wanted lemonade- they made fresh squeezed lemonade. They work exceptionally hard to give you the best vacation experience possible. It was a once in a lifetime vacation.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at The Loren this past week.  This was our first time to Bermuda and between the island and the hotel, everything exceeded our expectations.|Thank you to the Loren staff for making our trip so memorable.  Specifically, I wanted to point out Michelle "Sky" for going above and beyond.  She is truly a great representative of your hotel.  I would be remiss if I did not mention both Ron and Vlad, attendants at the pool.  They were both terrific and great at their jobs. Also, the food was excellent. And beautiful views from the room and all over the resort! |Although we don't have any immediate plans of returning, we will definitely be back at some point!

I am writing to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional service my family and I received during our recent stay at The Loren at Pink Beach from April 27th through May 1st. My wife and I travelled with our 2-year-old son to celebrate a soon to be addition to our family this November. || ||From the moment we arrived, the staff exceeded our expectations in every way. The front desk team provided a warm welcome and seamless check-in process.|| ||The attention to detail throughout our stay was remarkable. Our room was immaculately maintained by the housekeeping staff.|| ||I must specifically commend the concierge, whose assistance went above and beyond. When we mentioned that we're finding out the gender of our 2nd child due to be born in November, she immediately made us feel that we would have a memorable experience. While we were out for the day, she and her team arranged balloons and a thoughtful note that let us know we would be expecting a baby girl!|| ||What took it over the top was an extremely kind gift to our 2-year-old son. The staff gave him 2 children's books about Bermuda and about having a sister. This gesture made our celebration truly special.|| ||The restaurant staff also deserves recognition for their attentive service and culinary excellence. The staff was extremely attentive and to our toddler son, which allowed Mom and Dad to enjoy the breathtaking views in relative peace. Each meal was not only delicious but presented with pride and care.|| ||What sets the hotel apart is how every team member we encountered seemed genuinely invested in ensuring our comfort and satisfaction. || ||This level of personalized care is increasingly rare in the hospitality industry and has certainly earned our loyalty.

Just back from our 5 night stay at the Loren at Pink Beach. It was amazing in every way, and I say that as someone who has vacationed at some impressive properties over the years. From the moment you arrive, you are treated as a VIP by the staff. ||In fact, leading up to our arrival, Michelle (who is an absolute queen!!) handled every detail of our stay so that when we showed up the itinerary was perfect. When we needed to adjust a time or location, she handled everything with a smile and also gave us recommendations that were spot-on. She also paired us with Leroy as our private driver for the length of our stay, and he was fantastic. He kept us on-time and was a great story teller and full of interesting facts about the island. He also showed up after excursions with towels and cold cloths to refresh us, as well as bottles of water. ||The property itself feels very private and secluded and was never even close to what I would describe as "crowded" or full. There was always space at the beach of the pools. Drink service was prompt and the drinks were on the strong side, which was appreciated, lol. Even on a day or two when there was a good sized wedding going on, you just never felt like service was impacted or that there was a lot of people gathered around. The beach is not large but there is plenty of room for sun bathing, lounge chairs with towels and tables and umbrellas are more than sufficient, and the water is amazing. Calm and easy for snorkeling or paddle boarding, both of which equipment is provided by the Loren. ||The gym is very nice, with a couple treadmills and a few machines, etc. It has a view out to the pool and beyond to the ocean. ||We did a fishing excursion with Hakuna Matata charters and Captain Scott and first mate AJ were excellent. They put us on yellow fin tuna and man did we catch a bunch. The last one caught was enormous and took everything my son and I had to land it. They let us stay out an extra hour or so as well. The boat was squeaky clean and well maintained. Drinks provided were abundant. Highly recommend these guys for your fishing charter. ||We also did a jet ski tour which was so much fun! Michelle coordinated this as well through the Loren. Our tour guide, Naj, was a blast. Took us to many neat sites and we even met a Husky named Gilbert who hangs out in the shallow water of a cove below his owner's house! The jet skis were fast and reliable. The tour lasted two hours and we really got our money's worth. ||Highly recommend the Intrepid restaurant for a high-end dinner. Ask for Marilyn to be your server, as her level of service was great. The food selections and quality were top-notch and the ambience is very nice. ||I could go on and on about all the "little things" the Loren did for us but this review would become a book not a chapter. Suffice to say you won't regret staying there, even if you are a very discerning customer.

My recent stay at The Loren did not disappoint. The staff was personable, friendly, and made us feel like we were their top priority! The food was delicious at every meal and we enjoyed giving our compliments to the chef in person! Our room was beautifully decorated and spacious. Our balcony was perfect for a quiet time out with the view and sound of the ocean! I look forward to returning in the future!

Paid for the Pool Villa. They don’t service the pool area other than vacuuming the pool once a weeks. No waters or towels or cleanup, nothing. No attendant to come check on you see if you’re happy or need anything. ||||The Villa AC in the dining -kitchen-living never worked properly entire trip. It was approximately 80 degrees the entire time. Thankfully the bedroom AC worked great. ||||Staff refused to walk room service up the stairs to the villa leaving anything ordered in the entry downstairs. I didn’t pay this much to have to deliver my own room service. It wasn’t a cheap villa either at several thousand dollars per night! ||||Hotel sells out & monetizes the one air conditioned lounge, the Maree Lounge not 1 night but 2 nights of our 6 night stay. This is unacceptable as it’s part of the experience and the only other place to have a drink INSIDE to relax from the heat. So if you’re doing dinner at Pink Beach Club and you wanna grab a drink before dinner OR AFTER DINNER the only place was the Maree Lounge. Making that unavailable is the same as stealing money from every guest in my opinion. ||||WORST OF ALL: The resort does NOT tell you, but slyly adds a 2% fee to every food and beverage orders in the restaurants AND TO THE ROOMS! This is for a climate based “cause” called ROOTS they say they donate to. I think it’s a huge slush fund and it’s being operated that way since it an OPT-OUT only if you catch it and complain, otherwise it’s OPT-IN all the time everything. Total insanity! When people are on vacation they don’t think the resort is out to rip you off by nickeling and dimeing you for their so-called “cause”. Hey, I didn’t book the resort or the most expensive villa to donate to your charity, and then you just steal money? FROM EVERY SINGLE GUEST? There’s not a mention of ROOTS anywhere in the room or on any literature - just a little fee added to every thing you do. SHAMEFUL & basically outright theft! ||||I would never recommend any Loren property as they’re egregiously scamming you and provide no value for what you are paying.

Update: Management reached out and offered to invite us back for a two night comp. stay but still reluctant to take full responsibility for the disruption for the ***whole**** weekend. They still downplayed it until I called them out on this. They did pick up lunch on Sunday. I'm a bit skeptical that things will change though as reading more reviews below, it seems others have complained before with no changes. IF I do return, I will be sure to ask if there are any weddings/events planned during my stay. I also read in other reviews that the food and service was bad but we did not have this experience. In fact the opposite, staff and food were great. I hope they change their event policy which is easily fixed by requiring a hotel bookout when scheduling events. We stayed here about seven years ago when it first opened and LOVED it here. This trip was very disappointing. The rooms are beautiful but you could end up in a situation where a wedding takes over the property and you will not have access to the property. My poor review of service is not a reflection of the staff, the staff are fantastic- from Maryanne in the restaurant to the great pool staff (Dominico sp?) My poor review is for management and the reservation staff. We were told a DAY before arriving that there is a wedding and the ONLY restaurant ( they have a bar with bites too but not a restaurant) would be closed on Saturday night. What? We were looking forward to a long very chill weekend without needing to go off property. It is a great venue for a small intimate weddng but a nice hotel needs to properly inform and accommodate all guests. The truth is, the restaurant was not available Friday night, Saturday night or for lunch Saturday. We are still here so lets see about Sunday. In advance of arriving, I expressed my concerns and no one replied. I thought, okay when i get there the manager will make it right. No such luck, instead they gaslighted us and acted as if we are craxy to expect so much. There are a lot of beautiful island options, this location will not be on my return list. My suggestion, go to the Rosewood or another location where they can accomodate a wedfing and other guests.

We have stayed at The Loren several times throughout the years and are always overjoyed. The entire staff is friendly, helpful & courteous . They go above and beyond to ensure your time is Bermuda is memorable.||A special shout out to the pool staff - especially Ron. Ron has a personality that can make anyone feel special. His attention to detail and his anticipation of our needs always enhances our time at The Loren. ||We are so grateful to the entire staff - for yet again another magical vacation in Bermuda. By far the best place to stay on The Rock!||Thank you all so very much!
