We just wanted something for lunch so we chose from the starters. OH had cod and prawn croquettes, he said they melted in his mouth. And he loved the brushetta with Serrano ham. I had the pate, both of us were really happy with our choices. Lovely views and staff were really attentive and couldn't do enough for you. Lush place for lunch can imagine in the evening its really pretty.

Nice little restaurant on the waterfront. Their fish and chips is really good and they have nice selection of draft beers and cider.

The food was delicious. One of the waiting staff was incredibly hospitable and professional. She went above and beyond to make the night out pleasant. However some of the staff were incompetent one dropped hot food on me, another said it was not possible to put 2 tables together. The atmosphere and ambience was very nice. The reason I didn't give 5 stars was because there is no air-conditioning inside or no fans so it was a little too warm.

We went to The Lounge today for my father’s 62nd birthday. We had called earlier in the week to book and clearly stated it was for afternoon tea at 4:30 pm. When we arrived and asked for the afternoon tea, we were told it had to be pre-booked and that our reservation was marked as “lunch” (which makes no sense — no one books lunch for 4:30 pm). We were first attended by a guy who was completely unhelpful and completely ignoring the fact we were unhappy, already making the start to our experience negative. After speaking to the manager, they said they’d ask the kitchen to “try” to arrange something for us which was fine however, then they said that we need to pay £18 per person - though we stated some family members only wanted a hot drink (We were 9, including 3 children and a baby). Overall, it was the worst experience we’ve had — and we can definitely say we’ll never return. Thankfully, the restaurant next door, Monique’s, kindly squeezed us in and made sure my father’s birthday ended on a good note. On your online page, it states £10pp when it is 10 people or more, which we weren’t. I also specified on my phone call that it was for afternoon tea and was not told that we need to reserve anything beforehand nor pay any deposit, otherwise we would have especially it being a special occasion. We said we didn’t want to have to pay tea for 9 as we were 6 adults and had 3 children and a baby (Baby is still having baby food) and the children had already had snacks as were hungry before so only wanted a hot drink. One of our family members also has allergy to several foods which is why she wasn’t going to eat anything as has her own snacks, this is the reason why we weren’t going to pay for 9 people, there was no need. In order to avoid this happening in the future, staff should tell customers the correct information over the phone as I don’t think we were asking for anything out of the ordinary. Nevertheless, thank you for taking your time in reading our review and for your apology.

What a lovely meal we had, Jake was a superb host and sorted out all our requests with any fuss. It was a bit quiet but it is early January. The food was excellent and we just about managed to eat everything. A thoroughly enjoyable evening. Thank you

Lovely location for a drink and food. Starters were excellent, especially the burrata! Unfortunately, not great for a vegetarian Sunday lunch - there was no meat replacement at all (see the laughable photo which does exclude the accompanying vegetables). Also, mostly boiled vegetables and bland as a result. To be fair, they did drop the price for the dinner. There’s a much better option at Monique’s though!!

Booked Sunday lunch whilst in the UK. All was seamless. When we arrive a outside table with a veiw over the marina had been reserved for us but it was a little chilly so the front of house straight away sorted a indoor table with no fuss. The food was extremely tasty and shamefully more than we could eat. The wine choice suggested was also very nice and at a good price. Overall a very enjoyable time. Thanks to all the staff. We will be back when in Gibraltar.
