I absolutely love this place! It’s honestly one of the few spots to hang out in Burlington. The vibe is always fun, and I always run into people I know and meet new people, too. The soul food is fantastic, and the wings are the best I’ve ever had—period. The owners treat you like family, making you feel right at home. It's also a fantastic stop for anyone passing through town! I love the lounge!

I ordered on Doordash and everything arrived hot, fresh, and sealed securely. My jerk chicken wings were delicious. I wasn't a fan of the mac and cheese but those greens are absolutely amazing! Seasoned to perfection! I will definitely order food from this local owned business again and might even stop by for a drink or two one weekend.

Moving from out of state, me and my best friend had went on a Thursday to check out the vibe, It was absolutely perfect. From the energy, the music, to the food and the people that were there. You could tell there were many locals and everyone was so nice and sweet. Fun and bought us drinks and we honestly just danced and vibed out all night. The owner was accommodating and his family was so sweet as well. They had an indoor private area and outdoor sitting area which was very nice as well. We even made very nice friends that we met back up with that following Saturday. I'll be going back for sure 😊

The wings alone are worth the visit—up to 10 flavors, and every single one is AMAZING! Whenever my kids come home from college, they demand we go to (The lounge) for some wings. Also, thier equally impressive soul food menu, and homemade sides are FIRE !🔥 They’ve recently joined DoorDash (dangerous in the best way), but trust me—you want to experience this place in person. The cocktails are top-tier, the vibe is always on point, and if you’re into cigars, they’ve got you covered. Sundays are next level with fun-day energy and a DJ spinning at least once a week. Can’t say enough good things—go!

Fried pork chop. Crispy okra. Slow-cooked beans. The plate was Southern comfort at its finest—only at The Lounge.

We could hardly taste the food because it was really salty. We ordered the pork chop and fried squash. Taste like a box of salt. Thats dangerous for the blood pressure.

The food was delicious. My husband had the fish and I had the turkey bites.

The drinks are too expensive. And they don't put enough alcohol in the mixed drinks.

The owner was greeting patrons warmly at the front door and that friendliness was consistent throughout the night. The Lounge is super casual and super chill with good R&B music playing. The crowd was local and chatted with us easily, making a pleasant atmosphere. My drink was good. I was there to catch up with someone briefly before moving on to a dinner engagement, so I wasn't able to try any food. I do recommend The Lounge.

The grilled honey garlic wings are amazing! They were cooked perfectly and the sauce was very delicious. The pork chop is seasoned to perfection, juicy and a very big serving size. Overall this is a great local spot to get great food, at good prices. 10/10 highly recommend.

I like dancing here on Friday's it's local and the people are not so bourgeois that they are afraid to dance. Anyone will dance with anyone and that's fun. The dress code is not strict but I dress anyway. It's definitely larger than the old place and the drinks are reasonably priced. The owner is very friendly and I feel safe here. The DJ plays top 40 and that's ok sometimes... they used to play grown folks music with real beats you can dance to all the time. It's more ethnic, but so what, everyone is welcomed... just like every club in Burlington...people go where they feel at home. This would have been 5 stars, but that DJ...lol

I only go on Fri & Sat at night to get drinks. Perhaps dance if the mood strikes me. Therein lies the problem. Not too many attractive females to choose from. The clientele is not upscale, hipster, hood, grown & sexy, working class, etc etc. but strictly ethnic. And that is cool. Yet no discretion is shown to who comes in or how they are dressed.

The music is good when it's not the same thing..you hear every week ..but do not request a song or artist bc the DJ must have done a pre made list. Bc your song is never going to be play while your are there. The food is great! And the atmosphere it's full of energy so check it out!! And you will come back..
