The Lounge

The absolute worst customer service experience imaginable. Our family, already having two members who bought drinks, was shockingly and heartlessly denied access to the washroom. The bar attendant's rudeness was nothing short of appalling, insisting that every single one of us purchase a drink to use the facilities. With public toilets cruelly closed, this merciless policy was a slap in the face to those who don’t drink, forcing them into a humiliating and unjust purchase. Imagine having a medical condition and being refused a basic human right! If I could, I would give 0 stars for such abominable and inhumane treatment.

This was a nice little surprise in between exploring Grindelwald. It’s the ideal example of what a lounge is—a place to enjoy a drink and rest comfortably on a couch.

Such a nice little spot with charming decor, relaxing music, and wonderful service. Thank you Sandra for being so welcoming and attentive. We stayed for a few drinks and had the garlic bread, which had no right to be that good.

The worst customer service. We were here as a family and two people already bought drinks. We were still not allowed to use the washroom and the lady at the bar was very rude to us. Asked each of us to buy a drink if we wanted to use the washroom. Public toilets were closed. Understand that the Swiss culture is to buy something in a place where you want to use the restroom, and two family members already had bought drinks. This was also disrespectful for the family members who do not drink but were forced to buy a drink in order to use their washroom. People could have conditions where they need to use the restroom. Would give 0 stars if I could for such inhumane treatment.

The customer service was abysmal. We visited as a family, and despite two of us purchasing drinks, we were still refused access to the restroom. The bartender was extremely rude, insisting that each individual buy a drink to use the facilities. With public restrooms closed, this policy was especially problematic. While it's understood that in Swiss culture, buying something is customary before using a restroom, it was unfair to force non-drinking family members to make a purchase just to use the bathroom. Some individuals might have medical conditions requiring immediate restroom access. If possible, I would rate this establishment zero stars for such inhumane treatment.

Really nice bar if your want a drink in a relaxed atmosphere. They are also dog friendly Staff are busy, attentive but relaxed
