The Love Shack - A Little Palace in Brooklyn

This venue is such a hidden gem! It is as stunning in person as it is in pictures! Brittany the owner answered all my questions and I had plenty! All of my guests could not stop talking about how gorgeous the place was! Thank you so much for making my 40th beetlejuice event amazing!

Did my best friend's bridal shower here. Fabulous and unique setting in an ecclectic styled "dollhouse". The owners were very accommodating and super friendly! And the cats stole the show at the shower! I would definitely recommend this place as an intimate venue rental and or photo/film location.

I was not really sure what I wad getting myself into to but boy oh boy what a fun experience! An immerse whiskey tasting with delicious food pairing, amazing doughnuts & fun story telling. Whiskey stories is definitely an absolute delightful & unconventional way to learn and train your palate. Highly recommend it! You'll be full, happy, smarter & tipsy for sure.

My husband and I had our birthday party here recently and it was such an awesome space. Beautifully decorated and Brittany is so easy to communicate with and answers all of your questions. My friends were all very impressed with the venue. Really good speakers for playing music, a projector for playing videos on YouTube. I have nothing bad to say about it and you will not regret booking with her. Our birthday theme was magic and the place was the perfect backdrop for photos.

Brittany was incredibly patient in answering all of my questions and helping me coordinate while I was on vacation and slow to respond. Alex was prompt in making sure we got in and out of the space on time. The entire night was so seamless - only wish it could've lasted longer!

We booked the love shack for a brunchy wedding shower and it was just lovely! There is even a sunny patio. It almost stole the show from the bride! Brittany was incredibly responsive and easy to work with. 10/10 would book again. It was also surprisingly affordable.

My family and I have been using the love shack for events since 2016 Britta and husband are professional and very welcoming since the initial conversation. The events we held at the Love Shack were part of our most precious memories. Our family and friends are very grateful. It was affordable, magical and the service was impeccable. Did I say how amazing Britta is? We always stay past our scheduled time but again with the professionalism they have it was simple to arrange. Thank you Britta for helping make my dreams come true.

I found this Brooklyn hidden gem in the heart of Bushwick on social media. I was in awe by the photos and how tastefully this home was decorated. Brittany responded right away to all questions that I had, securing this space was a breeze with EVERYTHING explained. This was the first time that I spent my Thanksgiving away from home and I must say it was one of the best Thanksgiving days that I've had!! This home is so magical and breathtaking. My guests loved every minute of it. Paula the neighbor greeted me on time by opening up and closed the home. Paula showed me how to work the AC/HEAT, bluetooth speaker etc, she was very pleasant! Thank you for opening your home to my guests and I, I will definitely recommend this home for future occasions :)

I can't say enough about this place. The Loves definitely used a lot of love in this entire space. I held my best friend's bridal shower here. Britta and Alex were a pleasure to work with. Due to COVID we had to postpone the event. Britta made herself available for any and all questions. They worked with me and made sure that our event would be beautiful. All the guests raved about the space. So many great details. For people who enjoy a good photo op...this is the place for you. I will have to update this review with photos later once I receive them from my photographer. If the Loves will allow us, we may have to use their beautiful home for our next intimate event. Such a beautiful place! We had a great time! So many places to take pictures at no need to bring any decorations it's already beautiful. I will definitely be having another event here soon.

I first would like to thank Britta and Alex for being so accessible and accommodating, throughout the entire planning process. I held my baby brunch here and it was absolutely magical. Think, Alice in Wonderland meets Magic. I couldn't have asked for anything more. I would absolutely recommend and most likely host future events/photo shoots here.

Absouletly loveeee this venue. I had my brunch for baby shower here, and It was perfect! Britt and Alex were great with communication (which is very important). The ONLY downside is parking. I would definitely book again!

I recently hosted my book party at The Love Shack. This space is absolutely beautiful. My guest and I loved it. It's not a huge space but it's perfect if you're planning an event with about 50 guest. Britta and Alex were very accommodating. I'm so happy that I choose this space to host my event!!!

Renters beware. I hosted a baby shower for my best friend at The Love Shack a few years ago. One of the attendees stopped at the coffee shop at the corner prior to event and saw of the owner on his laptop watching us. It was never disclosed that we would be watched or that there are surveillance cameras set up. Once we confronted the owners, they denied it. They did not provide garbage bags for clean up and we weren't given instructions on how to close up so we waited for the owner to return, which was 10mins after the time we were supposed to leave. We were charged a late penalty of $250 because we ran 10mins over, which was the time we were waiting for the owners to check us out, which far exceeded the hourly rate. It was absolutely ridiculous and unfair. This place has left me with very bad memories of such a beautiful event I was hosting for my best friend. As of late, there has been many rentals that have been on the news for installing cameras and violating privacy laws and I wanted to share my experience.

If I could recommend this place 1000 times I would. This place is absolutely magical. Every single one of my guests loved it. I hosted a friendsgiving event there and it was my first out of the home event for 22 people. Britta was unbelievably helpful with any questions I had and the table set up was beyond perfect. The kitchen was very helpful for reheating all of the food that people brought over and they have great sound system that filled the entire room. Seriously, if you're looking to have a perfect unforgettable night, unique night, book this place.

If you're looking to host an intimate party or gathering, The love shack is perfect! I found this location in January for an event in March. The owners were extremely kind, courteous, and accommodating. Just from the emails they always responded right away. Very straightforward about the rules of the house and extremely helpful through the entire process ! Thanks so much again for making my sister's bridal shower a success !
