The Luang Say Residence

The Luang Say residence is a gorgeous hotel and an amazing place to stay in Luang Prabang, Laos. We had a wonderful time and the hotel staff are friendly and provide impeccable service.||The property itself is gorgeous and has a well maintained garden and pool area. Breakfast is scenic served at the restaurant looking out on the property. We highly recommend the traditional soup for breakfast! The hot chili oil is delicious as well!||The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. 4-poster bed, space to lounge on the couch and a full bathroom. I have rarely been as spoiled as I was with the turndown service and luxurious bathrobes.||Transport service, laundry, shuttle to the center of town is all arranged upon request. It's also very easy to get a tuktuk into town at any hour.||The hotel is full of warm, compassionate and lively people, which added a great deal to the experience!||We had a wonderful stay and would look forward to staying here again!

What an incredible place! First of, have to mention the amazing hospitality of Mrs. Phonechanh and Mr. Bird, they were so lovely! So attentive, really made sure we had a great time and took the best care of us. All staff had been so helpful.|The place itself is stunning; beautiful buildings and ammenities, spacious and clean rooms and balconies and overall a very relaxed feel to the place. Breakfast was also very tasty!|Location is superb, everything is close by. |Overall, this place has been our favourite by far. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable here :)

The hotel is a French Colonial gem. The grounds are beautiful and staff is very accommodating. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The location is about 2 km outside the historical district and bit far to walk but they offer shuttle services during certain times throughout the day free of charge. If I had one complaint is that the television is horrible. It’s not a smart TV and you have to just contend with antenna channels, where the image quality is quite lacking. This is a bit surprising considering that the hotel is five stars. It’s a minor inconvenience but one that was quite surprising. Otherwise we had a pleasant day. One more thing that I want to mention is that breakfast is top-notch. It’s à la cart and the presentation is very professional. Again, the staff was very accommodating, and if there was something you needed, they would quickly get it.

The Luang Say Residence is simply a dream! From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted by a stunning colonial-style building with a beautiful terrace and charming, thoughtfully designed spaces. The rooms are spacious, elegantly decorated, and perfect for relaxing.||All the staff were always attentive, friendly, and incredibly helpful – they even went above and beyond to help us purchase our train tickets for the next leg of our journey. A special thank you to the reception team, especially Bird, and to the lovely waiter in the restaurant.||Out of all the hotels on our four-week trip through Thailand and Laos, this was by far the most beautiful. We felt completely at home here and wish we could have stayed longer.

Absolutely perfect! We were two families with small children and the place was incredible for children. Lots of space, lovely pool and nothing was too difficult for the wonderful staff, especially Ms Phonechanh and Mr Khamhoung and Mr Tui. Everyone made us feel at home. Rooms itself were simply beautiful. Free bikes to go to town. Perfect!

Our second stay at the Luang Say. It lived up to expectations. The Luang Say is an older property with lots of atmosphere. As before we stayed in an Exploratory Suite in the original building and worth paying the extra. They have a loyal and friendly staff. The waiter service breakfast is a great feature as is the bar in the main house. A great swimming pool

The service is excellent. However some areas could do with improvements such as|1. Breakfast needs to better as we think a lot gets lost in translation and incorrect items are presented. |2. Internet service in room very spotty. Alternative provided. |3.. Television channels are grainy and with snow. Expected to be corrected during our stay but not done.
