There are special events around new year: bingo, soba, fireworks and mochi cake, calligraphy, etc. The staff are warm and hospitable. The decorations are creative at night. We really felt the blessings of the new year. We are not Japanese but we get to learn something about the Japanese new year and culture. Thank you so much! Thank you for the extra efforts! The food of the restaurants are phenomenal, especially the signature dinners. We enjoy the stay which is highly recommendable.

Perfect breakfast with a sun rise, wonderful public bath with sauna and hot spring, free parking! Right next to Marine world and private beach! They even prepared their own fireworks for new year! Spacious room comparing to most local hotel. It’s not cheap, but definitely worth the money.

Reserved 2 rooms about 2 months ago paid for 5-6 floors. Upon arrival they gave us 2nd floor rooms and said they don’t have any other rooms. Even I asked I’d like to have 2 adjacent rooms since I am with my parents who is late 80 years old (that was 2 months ago), they gave me two furthest rooms possible on second floor. The front guy did not show any effort to correct the issue, which was very annoying and unexpected for any hotel in Japan. Not recommended for anyone.

Great hotel. Good for a family holiday. Close to the seaside park. Reservation required for restaurants. Night pool only available to adults. Free shuttle bus between the hotel and Hearts Bus Station Hakata. Swimming ring JPY 3000, sandals JPY 2000.

Very nice hotel with yummy food. Both Italian n Japanese restaurants were great. You can enjoy sparkling wine during breakfast!

Decent rooms and breakfast buffet, good location within a national park. Only around half the staff speak a moderate level of english so can be a little difficult to communicate at times. Lack of maintenance on parts of the deck, should be fixed for guest safety. The most disappointing part of our stay is we were never informed of the free shuttle bus, we caught the train both ways. I even enquired about catching the ferry back and the free shuttle bus was never mentioned, given we are travelling with a baby this is a huge oversight by the staff and resort. We only became aware of as we saw it drive past as we are walking to the train station with heavy luggage...

1. Location- The location is perfect for those who want to visit marine world (3 mins by walk) & seaside park (10mins by walk)- However, it's 22~40mins by car to the city- I took a taxi near Momobeach (Fukuoka Hilton) to here at night, it cost around 9,000 yen - Convinient store is 37mins far from the hotel by walk2. Staff & Service - Staffs were very kind. Especially, I was in emmergency situation, one of staff helped me to call ambulance and supported me. (Deeply appreciated for the help)3. Breakfast & Lounge- The handmade onigiri was amazing! - Lounge service was good.I'll definitely visit Fukuoka because of the resort service. This hotel was more than worthy.

hotel facilities are a bit old, but room is okay. i did not have the opportunity to try their breakfast buffet, but they have a range of activities e.g. group meditation, yoga etc. for those who wish to relax. electric scooters and bikes are also available. the resort is in close proximity to a aquarium, as well as a sprawling seaside/harbourfront park. do not expect much from the onsen, as it is small and seems to be just a hot tub of water instead of a traditional onsen. the pool was one of the main attractive points of the hotel, but it was disappointing to find out that it was closed and would not be opened until July. it is also in the middle of nowhere, so the location is not ideal if you do not have a car. however, the decor is quite nice and is reminiscent of resorts/villas in Thailand. it does not really rise up to what is expected of a 4 star hotel, but okay if you are here for a longer stay and purely wish to stay within the perimeters of the resort. p.s. pls add notepads to the guest rooms as they are a staple amenity.
