The Lyn Valley Guest House

We enjoyed a perfect stay. Charming and attentive hosts, Jeannie and Jeremy, took care of everything so we could relax. Perfect place for a peaceful holiday. Splendid breakfast choices, spacious and clean rooms and wonderful views!

Very enjoyable two night stay at this establishment. Great location and charming hosts. Superb breakfast. Nothing too much trouble for these genial hosts. Great value and appreciated the convenience of the trust bar. Will definitely return again soon to hear his guitar rendition🎸

We loved our night with Jeremy and Jean at the LVGH. They are charming and fun, and we had some enjoyable chats when we arrived off the trail and in the morning over breakfast. The rooms were clean and comfy and gave us everything we needed. The shower was strong and the bathroom spacious and immaculately clean. I’d recommend the guest house without hesitation.

If you walk the South West Coast Path this is ideally located as you come into the lovely town.|Warm welcome from the host Jeanette. Lovely homely feel. Comfy lounge and honesty bar.|Superb large room as good as many 4 star hotels. Excellent bathroom with large bath and powerful shower.|Tasty breakfast and friendly chat with the hosts Jeanette and Jeremy.|Highly recommend and I’d not hesitate to recommend this comfortable guest house.

This is a wonderful place to stay. Lovely large clean rooms. Abundant toiletries provided, plus added extras. All done to make your stay as comfortable as possible by the extremely kind and generous hosts. There is a good choice at breakfast, perfectly cooked and more than enough to keep you full for the rest of the day. Thank you Jeanne for the delicious muffins!

Hiking the South West Coast Path we had the most wonderful stay at Lyn Valley Guesthouse. The rooms are spacious, clean and thoughtfully equipped, but the best thing about the guest house were its owners. They had been so nice and helpful! We can fully recommend the guest house to all SWCP hikers.

This place was perfect for us. The couple that runs (owns?) it was lovely. They were friendly, engaging, and helpful. Our room was well. Appointed and the shower alone was 5 star. Our bed was very comfortable and the bedding smelled and felt so good. Breakfast was the real treat though. Delicious and beautifully served. Fabulous stay.
