The Mable - Bar & Grill

First time here. Loved the vibe. Only one person on service. You had to order food via bartender?!?! Menu for me was too clutch. Dumb it down. We didn't eat here because of service. However, food coming out looked good. Just put another staff on!

We were referred to stop in here, so we finally did.. this place is awesome, truly feels like speak easy.... you wouldn't expect the inside to be what it is, based on the exterior.. this place has a cool 70s-80s vibe with good drinks and music. Plenty of seating and more. And the owner is from Philly..... GO BIRDS!!!🦅🦅🦅

So this place is a gem! It stays open late, has tasty food, has a good selection of drinks at the bar, and it's comfortable to hang out in and talk to friends. They do have a Caesar salad that is not listed on the menu, which I highly recommend! Their tater tots are Scrumptious! The music was circa 1990 pop, which was fun. They offer vegetarian fare, burgers, poutine, and more! Welcoming bartenders and staff. Easy parking lot. Would happily return for more!

As someone who rarely gives five-star reviews, I was pleasantly surprised by The Mable, a charming dive bar just 15 minutes from home. The walls are adorned with eclectic art, vintage furniture, and a faux fireplace, creating a cozy atmosphere. They host engaging events like music trivia nights, adding to the fun. The lemon drop cocktails were expertly balanced, and the buffalo-style wings, Caesar salad, and fries exceeded expectations. While you pick up your food at a service window, the lively crowd and outstanding fare make it worthwhile. Highly recommended for those seeking quality without pretense.

Easily our favorite place during our two-week stay in Sarasota. It's a 70s-themed pub, so nostalgic for me @ 55 and with good music playing. Solid beer selection and excellent prices, with EASILY the best food we had in Sarasota--especially their grouper sandwich. Online "paper" menu is what they always have, but the specials (e.g., grouper sandwich, chicken quesadillas) are where it's at. This would be my local hangout if I lived in Sarasota.

My new “Best Wings” place. I thought I had eaten about everywhere in the Sarasota area. This just took my top spot for best wings, god damn are they good. Crispy, almost burnt, sauces on the side, great Blue Cheese. Pretzel and Cheese was very good also. If you expect white table cloths and table side service, go somewhere else and don’t ruin it for the rest of us. You order your own drink and food at the bar, they yell your name when done, you pick it up, you box up leftovers, and you clean up. That’s why it’s only $80 for 4 of us to eat and have drinks. Great value. PS-place looks a little Sketch on the outside, but don’t let that fool you, great people and food inside.

This is a hole in the wall bar with great food, service, and value. If you like trivia they have it on Monday and Wednesday nights, highly recommended. It can get a little chaotic. The owners Mom makes the dessert, they’re delish, when available.

The drinks were made really good. Our bartender was great and offered great suggestions for food. They ran out of the special tonight and offered a different version. My husband enjoyed the chicken pot stickers. I ordered the steak tacos and they were good too. My only complaint is that the food was saltier then I normally like. it was ok there. Prices are average. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.
