Absolutely loved my stay! The hotel is in a perfect location—walking distance to all the main attractions, shops, and restaurants. The rooms are spotless, well-equipped, and very comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The view from the room was simply breathtaking. It truly has everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable trip. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again

Fun from the very start. You gò to reception on floor 1/2 in a moaning old lift. Lovely staff, very helpful and accommodating. You couldn't get any closer to St. Stephens cathedral!! The room we stayed in was a studio on the 4th floor, but facing away from the views. No problem, as it's right outside the front door!! Close to many wonderful sights, metro, trams, and bus stops. Some of the kitchen items could do with an upgrade. Unsure if off season travel and prices effected the cleaning service? But we saw leftover moments from previous guests all over the room. And we couldn't make the tv work, but who needs tv when in Budapest??! But for short-term term visit, great central location!! 👍

We booked a family room in the hotel, but when we arrived we were redirected to somthing called “Rumor Apartments,” three floors above the actuall hotel. No reception desk or on-site staff meant a confusing, self-service check-in. The location is amazing and the apartment was spacious and yet poorly maintained: a broken sofa and curtains so small that daylight poured in at 5:30 am. We chose to leave after the first night-even though we had prepaid for four- rather than risk our yearly family vacation. I reported these issues but received no meaningful support so far

Stayed in June 2025. The apartment is quite nice and the location is good. However, there were no front desk to check in. One of the reasons that we booked this place is because there was supposed to be a front desk. However, we received an email on 21 May stating that there will be no front desk as of 1 June 2025. A lot of hassle to self checked in when we arrived as we didn't have the code. Many phone calls were made. Next, we couldn't go out for dinner at about 8pm on 8 June 2025 as the common area's door was locked. (Pictures attached). We contacted the staff and we spoke to 3 people. The first lady was very rude and impatient and insisted that we caused the problem by locking the door. How is that possible? We wanted to go out for dinner. It was already locked! It must have been a faulty lock, and the key couldn't unlock it. We didn't lock it! She even hung up on us a couple of times. We spoke to 2 others later who 8were helpful and patient and tried to solve the problem. Hence, we were locked in the room and unable to go out that evening. Many calls were made, and roaming charges were incurred. There were other guest/guests who couldn't go into their room as they were locked out. One of the male staff was extremely helpful and was at the scene to help us and other guests. Finally, at about 11++pm, he managed to ask the locksmith to remove the common area's lock. We were just glad it was sorted out. It was an extremely frustrating evening.

Central location right at the St. Stephen Basilica square as you step outside of the hotel doors the Basilica awaits you. Staff was nice. Stayed a few days. Room 1. Small but enough for two people. The smell of sewage would come through at times and had to keep the bathroom door closed. That was the only minus. Nicely renovated rooms and hotel. Good for a quick getaway. Location is perfect close to everything.

We stayed in Apartment 3 (Superior Studio with Kitchenette).||It had a square view and you could see the Bascilica from an angle laying in bed/ looking right out of the window. This hotel location has the "wow" factor when arriving into the square for sure!||The room has lovely high ceilings and fresh, minimalist, modern design to it. Lots of lighting options too. We made use of the sofa bed but there was still a single comfy seat to sit on and a small kitchen table with two chairs. It was also warm.||We were on the 3rd floor so the noise from the square was not too bad being higher up. There is some light that comes through the curtains in the day (not 'black out') but we found the light helpful to wake up as we always had early starts. We were warned / prepared for the noise and light either way by the hotel/ reviews (bring earplugs and eye masks if sensitive to light and noise).||We used the elevator most days and mostly without a wait time. It's a small/old elevator so if there's a large group you might need to use the stairs or wait for a second trip on the lift.||There was some noise from the internal corridor but it's not unexpected given it's an apartment building/ a city. Although we had noticed the peephole glass / cover from our door was missing (could see through from the outside) so there was a bit of a privacy issue (and probably noise too) as a result - we had to put something in it to block it. If it wasn't for this I would have rated higher - please fix :) Otherwise the room/ apartment block felt safe and private (code entry to lobby and key to room).||It had a simple kitchenette (microwave, hob, kettle) that we used one one night for dinner to save some money. It was handy to have the coffee making facilities for the mornings. We didn't have any complimentary coffee in the room which would have been a nice touch upon arrival but we were treating this as a self catering holiday anyway so we bought our own supplies.||Bathroom facilities were all as required. Complimentary toiletries and a hair dryer.||We didn't use much in the way of housekeeping but to be honest we did not need it as we were only staying a short while although we were given fresh towels on the second day which was nice.||We didn't need any more from the room or the facilities as we were out exploring most of the time so this suited us well.||Its easy to get around Budapest by foot and made even easier by the location of this apartment being a short walk from tramlines, bus stops and the metro if you want to go further.||We used a private airport transfer via Booking.com for arrival and on the way back used the 100E airport shuttle with pick up only a 10 min walk away (we had small luggage so the walk was ok).||I had a small issue with the use of the safe (note to self - keep it open before following the code set procedure - instructions did not make that clear) which I was kindly assisted with by the receptionist without any hassle or embarrassment.||Check in was straight forward and swift (note that you provide ID in advance via a platform online and bring a credit card with you for physical check in).||Check out was also straightforward too. We checked out before 8am (reception opening) but there's a key drop off outside of reception that made it.||I would highly recommend / using this Hotel - Apartment for anyone who is looking for a central base with the added benefit of having the option of a kitchenette room for simple cooking at your fingertips! Thanks for having us :) !

Stayed here in March 2025. I loved the location, you can wake up and see the cathedral. It’s also very convenient to get to the metro, it’s like a 5-10 minute walk. ||However, as other reviews have noted, there’s no hot water pressure. You will not be able to fill a tub or take a shower with anything approaching lukewarm, let alone hot, water. There’s also very little soundproofing, so you’ll hear all the parties/clubs nearby.||Overall, I didn’t mind staying there too badly but probably wouldn’t book again.

10/10 Location right in front of St. Stephen's Cathedral, cafes' and restaurants. 10-15 minutes walk to the Széchenyi Chain Bridge, Elizabeth Park and Fashion Street.|10/10 Comfort and Price|10/10 Friendliness of Staff - it was a last minute booking for us and we were in a rush to catch the flight to BUD. We missed out the email from the property for the self check-in info etc because the reception closes at 8PM. The hotel staff accommodated our calls at 11PM even beyond office hours. Managed to get our room in no time and processed the formal check-in the next day.
