Classy place in an old theater that plays movies while you dine.
I had the chilled salmon as an appetizer, served with a creole mustard sauce, capers, onions, greens, and crostini. It was light, salty, refreshing, and a perfect appetizer on a hot day.
I then followed with the cheese ravioli, which is also on the dinner menu. It was a large serving, and was accompanied by sun-dried tomatoes and goat cheese, as well as pine nuts (optional).
Small cocktail list, but a wide variety for all tastes. Gin, vodka, whiskey based drinks etc. I had a mango margarita and a strawberry ginger cooler. Both clean, not overly sweet, and again, perfect for a sultry summer day.
Service was excellent. Atmosphere quiet and understated, and though busy, not loud.
Attire disclaimer: I stopped in at lunch and was wearing a t shirt and sweats (I always travel in comfort). I was greeted warmly and my server was wonderful and attentive. What I perceived to be the floor manager checked in with me a few times. I was treated well by all, but I do want to remark I saw a stack of cards on the host stand that read something along the lines of "attire standards," or something similar. I did not pick them up to read. About a year ago, a TripAdvisor patron asked about dress code and a manager replied all types welcome and "come as you are."
Anyway, just something to consider, you may want to call ahead for dinner, but at least for the lunch service, my dress didn't have any effect.
I really enjoyed it here and would come again, as well as try their dinner service.
