The Majestic Hotel, a grand and historic property, lives up to its name. Conveniently located near KL Sentral train station, it offers a complimentary shuttle service. The hotel is close to notable sites like the old train station, the National Mosque, the Islamic Art Museum, the Perdana Botanical Gardens, and various museums. Unlike the bustling Bukit Bintang area, the hotel’s surroundings are quiet in the evenings, with little foot traffic. However, it’s a bit far from the nearest metro station, as well as from bars, restaurants, entertainment venues, and shopping malls.
The spacious rooms offer stunning skyline views, especially impressive at night when the city lights come on. The hotel is renowned for its amazing breakfast, with a wide variety to suit every taste. There’s an outdoor pool and a gym, and all the standard amenities are provided.
The staff is friendly and helpful.
However, there were some inconveniences during our stay. The most frustrating was the lack of an electricity socket by the bed for phone charging—an outdated setup that needs an upgrade. Additionally, expect late room cleaning service on weekends.
In the bathroom, a glass separation between the toilet and shower makes both sections feel smaller, and its placement may cause guests to bump their heads against it.
If you prefer a peaceful and luxurious place to relax, the Majestic Hotel is a great choice. However, if you’re looking for more nightlife and activities, the Golden Triangle Hotels might be more suitable for you.
