Every detail is thoughtfully designed to create a relaxing and intimate atmosphere. The food was excellent, the service outstanding, and the personal touches made all the difference.||We had a beautiful experience and couldn’t have asked for a better stay. I recently spent a week at Maji with some fine friends and could not recommend the place highly enough. From the glorious location directly on the beach, to the old-world charm of the rooms, it is a veritable delight and perfect place to unwind. From General Manager Zipporah to Restaurant Manager Erasmus and each and everyone else...the staff were utterly charming. Would I recommend it? Yes. Yes... I most certainly would!

The Maji is a beautiful resort in Diani and I would highly recommend if you are looking for safe, quiet, delicious food and incredible service. This is a five stars! Evelyn is an absolute gem. She ensures everything is perfect with your stay!! Simon, Caroline, Jackie and others helped to make it all magical. I loved being able to eat anywhere on property, which allowed for stunning morning coffee and food and the rooms provided a beautiful space for rest. This is a wonderful way to end your trip to Kenya after a safari or a stand alone vacation! The beach is stunning!! Don’t hesitate, book!!

I had a wonderful weekend at The Maji. The hotel is a beautiful property, uniquely designed and set on a beautiful beach. The staff were all wonderful, especially Zippy for breakfast and lunch. Would definitely go back for a relaxing visit to Diana!

Perfect service. Friendly staff. Scenic with beach front white sandy beach just at the door step. Art gallery, jacuzzi in our room. Endless beautiful and spacious bathrooms. Endless swimming pool. Great food and wide range of wine list. Simply perfect.

I am saddened that I have to leave this beautiful little paradise of a hotel. It's truly been a fantastic first time experience at The Maji. Set in beautiful garden of palm trees and green vegetation, the place has great ambience. The interiors are well decorated with Lamu-style furniture. The rooms are well furnished and bathrooms are very pleasant. The Staff and their services are exceptional, and best is their al la carte food of the highest quality. But have patience for it to arrive at your table as each order is taken individually so that you get the best. My compliments to the management for maintaining such high standards. An absolute top boutique hotel. Right on the beach. I just LOVED This place. ||An old stately family home converted to a small cozy hotel (with less than 20 rooms in total, I understood), this is absolutely ideal if all you want is to relax, be treated like royalty and eat amazing food; watch the ocean and just basically recharging your batteries. ||The staff were out-of-this-world-superb! Never been treated like this in a hotel before. They made you feel genuinely welcome and went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. ||The rooms are enormous. I had a room with ocean view and a balcony. I believe most rooms come with one. Nicely stocked room; kettle and refrigerator. Water is provided in the room. ||Bottom line: A dream of a hotel! Do come. You will not regret it.
