The Maji Beach Boutique Hotel

Our 4-night stay at Maji Boutique Hotel was nothing short of exceptional! We booked an ocean view room, and it was absolutely stunning—beautifully designed and impeccably maintained. The room came equipped with coffee and tea facilities, a mini fridge, a TV, two spacious bathrooms, and two incredible balconies that offered breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring restful nights, and the entire space was kept spotlessly clean throughout our stay. The food at Maji Boutique was a highlight, with every meal being a delightful treat, prepared with care and bursting with flavor. The service was top-notch, and we cannot speak highly enough of the staff, particularly Duncan and Zippy, who went above and beyond to make our stay truly special. Their warmth and attentiveness added a personal touch that made all the difference. We were celebrating a friend’s birthday during our stay, and the hotel made it unforgettable by decorating the room and surprising us with a delicious cake. The manager, Evelyne, was incredibly welcoming from the moment we arrived until the very last minute, ensuring we felt valued and cared for throughout our visit. The hotel’s beachfront beds overlooking the Indian Ocean were a perfect spot to relax and soak in the serene atmosphere, and we spent many blissful hours there. The pool was also a great addition, offering a refreshing escape. Overall, our experience at Maji Boutique Hotel was phenomenal, and we thoroughly enjoyed every moment. My husband and I had a lovely time. I can't speak highly enough of the staff. They went out of the way to make our stay comfortable. The food was delicious - breakfast, dinner and afternoon tea. Generous helpings and good variety.|The hotel was well maintained and very clean. Excellent security although the area is very safe in general. Its easy to get to other parts of Diani beach and convenient for the airport. I want to thank all the staff- the general manager Ms Kanyi, Eleanor and the reception team as well as Erasmus and his team for making our stay a real pleasure. We hope to return soon

We have just arrived back from Maji Beach Boutique Hotel and what an amazing stay we had, would highly recommend. From being greeted warmly as the waves rolled in, the ocean just steps away from the sunbeds.Our stay here for 5 nights was exceptional. We felt very welcomed and looked after. Nothing was too much bother for all staff, always smiling and welcoming. The meals were delicious and so much choice, and attention to detail in each course served. We would most definitely recommend as such a professional and personal service throughout our stay. Many thanks to all staff but Evelyn, Jackson, Simon and Michael went above and beyond to get to know our needs , our preferred drinks and food, Simon bringing herbal tea and fruit each morning was a lovely way to start each day, thank you all for a relaxing, wonderful stay.

I recently spent a week at Maji with some fine friends and could not recommend the place highly enough. From the glorious location directly on the beach to the old-world charm of the rooms, it is a veritable delight and perfect place to unwind. |From General Manager Zipporah to Restaurant Manager Erasmus and each and everyone else...the staff were utterly charming.|Would I recommend it?|Yes. Yes... I most certainly would!

The Maji is a beautiful resort in Diani and I would highly recommend if you are looking for safe, quiet, delicious food and incredible service. This is a five stars! Evelyn is an absolute gem. She ensures everything is perfect with your stay!! Simon, Caroline, Jackie and others helped to make it all magical. I loved being able to eat anywhere on property, which allowed for stunning morning coffee and food and the rooms provided a beautiful space for rest. This is a wonderful way to end your trip to Kenya after a safari or a stand alone vacation! The beach is stunning!! Don’t hesitate, book!!

We stayed at this fantastic hotel for 10 days in September.|The location is amazing – as soon as you arrive it feels like stepping into a dream.|The hotel has 15 African-style rooms, each one different from the other, with great attention to detail.|We stayed in the Garden Suite – huge and absolutely wonderful!|Guests truly feel pampered by all the staff.|Special compliments to the waiters: very professional, always smiling, and ready to fulfill every request.|The cuisine is excellent, with a rich à la carte menu to choose from.|Last but not least, congratulations to the entire reception team, housekeeping, and gardeners who make the stay truly unique.
