The Maji Beach Boutique Hotel

The Maji is a beautiful resort in Diani and I would highly recommend if you are looking for safe, quiet, delicious food and incredible service. This is a five stars! Evelyn is an absolute gem. She ensures everything is perfect with your stay!! Simon, Caroline, Jackie and others helped to make it all magical. I loved being able to eat anywhere on property, which allowed for stunning morning coffee and food and the rooms provided a beautiful space for rest. This is a wonderful way to end your trip to Kenya after a safari or a stand alone vacation! The beach is stunning!! Don’t hesitate, book!!

I had a wonderful weekend at The Maji. The hotel is a beautiful property, uniquely designed and set on a beautiful beach. The staff were all wonderful, especially Zippy for breakfast and lunch. Would definitely go back for a relaxing visit to Diana!

Perfect service. Friendly staff. Scenic with beach front white sandy beach just at the door step. Art gallery, jacuzzi in our room. Endless beautiful and spacious bathrooms. Endless swimming pool. Great food and wide range of wine list. Simply perfect.

I am saddened that I have to leave this beautiful little paradise of a hotel. It's truly been a fantastic first time experience at The Maji. Set in beautiful garden of palm trees and green vegetation, the place has great ambience. The interiors are well decorated with Lamu-style furniture. The rooms are well furnished and bathrooms are very pleasant. The Staff and their services are exceptional, and best is their al la carte food of the highest quality. But have patience for it to arrive at your table as each order is taken individually so that you get the best. My compliments to the management for maintaining such high standards. I will be back soon, God willing! Anil

An absolute top boutique hotel. Right on the beach. I just LOVED This place. ||An old stately family home converted to a small cozy hotel (with less than 20 rooms in total, I understood), this is absolutely ideal if all you want is to relax, be treated like royalty and eat amazing food; watch the ocean and just basically recharging your batteries. ||The staff were out-of-this-world-superb! Never been treated like this in a hotel before. They made you feel genuinely welcome and went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. ||The rooms are enormous. I had a room with ocean view and a balcony. I believe most rooms come with one. Nicely stocked room; kettle and refrigerator. Water is provided in the room. ||Bottom line: A dream of a hotel! Do come. You will not regret it.

This boutique hotel is Kenyan Hospitality in every way - from the authentic smiles, welcome and attention from all the staff, to the comfort of the Swahili inspired rooms. |You are right on the waters edge and can almost stumble out of bed for an early morning swim in the warm Indian Ocean, or just to stroll on the beach, and they have quite a unique swimming pool that wraps around the main hotel building - in the shape of a lazy river at a waterpark.

I had an amazing stay! Couldn’t have chosen a better way to start 2025. The staff are lovely, the room comfortable, the food amazing and the beach view breathtaking! Rating: 1000/10! I would 💯 recommend this place to anyone looking to unwind in Diani.
