The Manor 1858

I recently photographed a wedding networking event at The Manor 1858, and it instantly felt like a dream setting for weddings. The historic charm, beautiful grounds, and thoughtfully designed spaces create such an elegant and welcoming atmosphere. From a photographer’s perspective, the property offers so many stunning backdrops and gorgeous natural light throughout the space. It’s easy to imagine couples celebrating their wedding day here with friends and family surrounded by so much character and beauty. After spending time at The Manor 1858, I’m officially dreaming of photographing a wedding here soon. It’s such a special venue and a beautiful option for couples looking for a timeless Virginia wedding venue.

My best friend had her wedding here this past weekend and as a member of the wedding party and guest this place was absolute perfection. Nothing about this property feels outdated or old—the huge windows and finishes really create a modern feel to a traditional barn house setting. The scenery was gorgeous and though you’re only 20 minutes from Leesburg it was very quiet and remote. I would recommend this venue to anyone who is interested in this modernly traditional aesthetic, and cares about the details.

The Manor 1858 is a special venue located just outside of downtown Leesburg that really marries the historical charm of Loudoun County with the modern necessities for a unique event space. I love the character of the property and the ways it can be utilized to produce something out of the box. Its location just outside of town, makes it more accessible than other barn venues and its partnership with Hotel Burg and its new onsite manor house that sleeps 16ppl on property is going to be a huge draw!
