We had a wonderful 6-day stay at The Manor Amsterdam and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and attentive. They went above and beyond to help us book rental cars, suggest sights and activities, and patiently explain how to get around the city using trams, buses, and trains—which made navigating Amsterdam so easy and stress-free. The daily breakfast was excellent, with a great variety and high-quality options to start each day. Our room was always spotlessly clean and well maintained, which made returning after a long day of sightseeing especially comfortable. The combination of outstanding service, cleanliness, and helpful staff truly made our stay enjoyable. We would absolutely recommend The Manor Amsterdam and would happily stay here again on a future visit.

Google
Great location next to the tram station and far away from all the city noise. Comfy bed but not as comfy pillows. Glass door of the bathroom next to the bed, no privacy at all. Balcony door has no door knob on the outside. Old building so sound and vibrations levels were high.

When we arrived we were given a room with two single beds when we were supposed to be in a superior double room. Which we did manage to get changed to a double room. We asked where the bar was to be told both bar and restaurant were closed for renovations until February it would have been nice to have been told this before we booked holiday through Tui. One of the days our room was never cleaned by 4.30 we had to go and ask someone in housekeeping for clean towels so we could shower that night. So we basically paid to stay at hotel with no facilities.Hotel management advised us that all relevant booking operators were informed of renovations being carried out at hotel. Definitely didn't inform us when we booked holiday. Again Tui have let us down.

Our 10-day stay at The Manor was very comfortable, and conveniently located near family we were visiting. The front desk staff was helpful and professional. Our room was spacious, clean and quiet (not street-side). We were able to rent bikes directly from the hotel. Lots of lovely restaurants, bakeries and other shopping all nearby.

Google
Great location, very kind concierge / desk. The room at the 3rd floor was spacious and clean. With a nice view of the city. Things to improve: hallway carpet seems dirty and not well kept. There could be also more activities and service offers.. e.g.: no one told me there is a quite nice restaurant in the property. If so, I would have booked dinner there

Google
Stayed here for Christmas in their newly renovated King Suite, very clean facilities, all staff are very helpful and friendly. Location is not prime in the city but right next to tram stops for quick access into the City and close by a train station. The newly renovated King room was beautiful, very high ceilings, very comfy bed and a large balcony. The only fault I could find was the bathroom door didnt allow for full privacy but this is not a problem if you are sharing with a partner. Will look to book again for future Amsterdam visits.

Google
Loved our stay at The Manor a lovely, historical building. Spacious room. Great shower. Perfect location with a beautiful park across the street. Very walkable with easy access to the tram as well. Will absolutely stay again on our next visit.

Google
Very nice hotel. Clean, modern facilities. Would have given 5 ⭐ , but the bar area was closed for renovation. Pity. Very handy for tram to city centre. Staff are excellent and the brekkie is a good way to start your day. Nice experience all round.

Yelp
My wife & I stayed at this hotel when we went to Amsterdam last month. This is a nice 4-star hotel that's newly renovated located east the city center and conveniently accessible to all public transportation. They have a good selection of food for breakfast and the main dishes changes every day (rotated every 3 days). Nice clean facility and the rooms are of above average size. The staff are helpful & very hospitable.

Yelp
+ Really good interior. - Breakfast a hit or a miss. + Dinner was good. - Service was fair. Some staff were good/nice, some were unfriendly especially the guy in the front desk who goes out to smoke often. When we go back here -- would more likely use another hotel.

Yelp
The rooms are clean and nice. It's in walking distance to restaurants around town, and close to the tram. The staff was amazing and helpful. The guest services supervisor went above and beyond to assist us.

Yelp
I had been walking all over Amsterdam last week..in the rain..due to not being familiar with the Metro & tram system.. I was tired and my feet hurt. I walked inside the manor hotel, hoping that I could get some help as my phone network had been experiencing tech issues and I had no way to hail a taxi or an Uber. I was greeted by Dmitri who is literally the sweetest man and most accommodating front desk attendant I have ever met. He greeted me with a very warm hello as if we were long lost friends! I advised him of my inability to make calls unless I'm in wifi. He asked if I would like to call a taxi and said he would take care of it for me. I asked if I could use the bathroom. He let me use the beautiful bathroom and asked if I if he could bring me a drink. He even brought me a glass of water because he could see I was having a tough day. I am an American woman who has worked in the hospitality industry for over 20 years. In all of my years of staying in and working for hotels, I have never received such exceptional service from anyone in my life. i just wanted D'mitri to know that his generosity was so very appreciated during a week which physically and mentally draining. D'mitri, you are a beautiful human and I will never forget you. ;)

Yelp
Color me impressed! These guys blended a quirky interior and traditional exterior for eclectic perfection. We were greeted warmly on arrival by smartly dressed staff. Checking in was effortless, as was checking out. The staff were full of useful information, some of which was immediately given to us with no need to ask- such as dining and transportation, as well as offering a map. Additional information was readily available if there were any questions. The rooms were exceptionally clean and well-appointed. The location was ideal for our needs. We walked everywhere we went and enjoyed being able to spend time in several different parts of towns effectively. Check out was a breeze and they offered to store our bags/ call a cab. I appreciated nesco in the mornings. It helped me fuel up for the breakfast hunt. Speaking of breakfast, the hotel has a restaurant attached and 24hr room service. There's a market easily within walking distance. Bonus: We scored an excellent price at $217 for 2 nights with a Superior deal. We LOVED this place & will definitely be back.

Yelp
The manor was a great place to stay in Amsterdam. It was close to the metro and train lines, walkable to many things within the city, and the hotel was comfortable and clean. The price wasn't terrible as compared to other hotels in the area. I would stay there again.

Yelp
Great seeming hotel, but awful picture in my room. Asked for a sheet to try and cover it up, sheet has stains on it. :(

Yelp
DO NOT PREPAY WITH THIS HOTEL. I am reviewing on customer service alone as I have not stayed and will not stay. Since I made the booking, entry requirements to the Netherlands have changed and UK travellers must isolate for 10 days. We can only stay for 3 days and booked this in October but from 22/12 the entry requirements will change. The hotel will not allow date changes or give a refund for prebooked stays. A wonderful and flexible policy to adopt during these challenging times, even though we are giving the hotel as much notice as possible as per the governments travel requirement change, which was only announced in the last few days. Thanks for keeping my money and providing nothing. I am pretty sure that's called theft, must be called something else in Amsterdam.

Yelp
Room was clean and very spacious for European rooms but the garish red x all over as decor was too much. Also please note this hotel doesn't have air conditioning which I would have not booked if I knew. In a top floor room with a-frame it got way hot and no temp control. Enjoyed the space and complimentary water and stroopwafel treat and handwritten note but wanted more from hotel itself. Our trash wasn't emptied by housekeeping nor were washcloths restocked, and breakfast tray, which was really good, was still outside in the hall that night. Meh. Wouldn't be back.

Yelp
So pleased. So nice. We were lucky enough to stay in the two room that had the balcony overlooking the front of the hotel. Totally worth it, waking up eating breakfast on the terrace, or afternoon drinks playing games outside. Location- steps away from two different train/tram/buses. Few blocks from restaurants and bars. Lil market and liq store within a block. Ideal. Service- everyone we encountered was really helpful and nice. Hotel- has a modern feel. Rooms were really clean and nice, I felt fancy staying there. No complaints here. Thanks!

Yelp
Friendly staff, comfortable rooms at a reasonable price, and easy access to trams to get around Amsterdam. It seems like it's a bit out of the way, but the trams and buses got us everywhere we needed to go pretty quickly. And it's in a pretty pleasant little neighborhood.

Yelp
4 stars! Really nice hotel in a great location that's a 25-30 min walk to city center OR amazing tram/ trolley service. Def def def go to Bar Burkowski a few blocks away for breakfast and DO park for 12 Euros a day a block away from hotel at Q Park. Shower and bathroom were super modern but water pressure was a bit lacking. All together this is a good deal and good place to stay for the price.

Yelp
Walking into the hotel, it was very welcoming and the decor was pretty. We arrived very early at 8am and the hotel staff were very accommodating and let us check into our room early at no charge. This was wonderful since we had just had a long flight in from the US and large luggage. In the event that a room wouldn't have been ready for us, they do offer to store it for you. The hallways were bright red with X's that represent Amsterdam. The room was modern with purple mood lighting near the ceiling. Windows were large with long draperies. The bathroom was a decent size.. nothing large or too small. My only complaints were the shower didn't have a fully enclosed door, so the bathroom floor got pretty wet. Also, we wanted a queen sized bed.. but I guess in Europe they put two twin beds together? Either way, this was kind of uncomfortable to sleep with your significant other since there was a crack in the middle. The A/C was turned on max, but it still always seemed hot in the room.. so we had to open up the window each night. During my 2 weeks in Europe, the A/C never seemed very cold in our other hotels or restaurants either. Other than that, my 5 night stay was wonderful and the best hotel on my entire trip!! The room was cleaned each day and the bed and pillows were comfortable. It's not a quick walk to central Amsterdam, but we got a week long tram pass and there's a stop right outside of the hotel. There's also a handful of good restaurants within walking distance. If you want real dutch food, I recommend going to 'Moeders'... you have to take the tram though and make a reservation! OH... I almost forgot to mention, there is a mini refrigerator in the room and a grocery store a block down the street!! Great for keeping drinks or beer cold! We didn't want to pay for breakfast... so we got milk and cereal for in the room which held us over until lunch. All hotels should have refrigerators!

Yelp
This was a great find in Amsterdam, the hotel has a "W" type feel to it that was modern, hip and trendy but without the "W" price tag associated with it. The hotel is right along Tram #9 with a stop about half a block from the hotel. It's about a 10-15 minute ride on the tram to the city center and the Central Train Station. The rooms were modern, clean, fairly large and the beds were comfortable. The staff was very helpful, giving us tips on where to visit, how to get around town, where to eat and some nearby things to do. Although the hotel isn't in a "prime" tourist spot, we actually preferred it that way because it was less hectic. There are handful of local restaurants that offer great breakfast and lunch places all within walking distance from the hotel. Highly recommend if you're visiting.

Yelp
Nice and clean rooms. Staff is great, especially the reception and front desk. Unfortunately no gym.

Yelp
This is a great hotel with friendly staff and a nice Italian restaurant. The rooms are a good size, very clean and modern. Walking distance to grocery store and a great Spanish Tapas restaurant called Pata Negra. Train stop to the center of Amsterdam is right on the corner and about a 7-10 minute ride. The only downside is there is no gym in the hotel, but there is one about a 5 minute walk away which has everything you need. Good for an overnight for business or a nice place away from all of the business of city center.

Yelp
I've been to the cafe... Friendly staff. Not a big choice of drinks. I wouldn't go back...
