A beautiful location to stay for the night. Great heating and beautiful bathroom and bedroom. Great value for money and good quality breakfast supplies. The only thing to note is the very skinny spiral stairs in the rooms in which our luggage couldn't fit up the stairs and may be difficult for more elderly / less abled people while this is listed on their website just thought it was something to keep in mind. Can definitely see the appeal for a wedding as it's absolutely gorgeous! Staff were kind and accommodating.

My husband and I were married here in May of this year and it was perfect. We had both the ceremony & reception at The Manor and everyone at The Manor made sure it all went as smoothly as possible. Not only is the venue incredibly beautiful year round but the staff are lovely and super helpful, the food is fantastic and the rooms are cosy & comfortable. We absolutely loved this as our wedding venue and couldn't recommend it more!

It's the day after my wedding and one of the first things I wanted to do was give a 5-star review to The Manor who accommodated our ceremony and reception. From the food, the service, the amenities and other finer details... Everything was perfect. Thank you for helping make our dream wedding come true!

Amazing place to stay.|An interesting drive to get there (I think Google maps stitched us up as it had us wiggling around all over the place!), but the drive was worth it - you literally feel like you're staying in a castle. We loved it.|Check-in was contactless, and instructions were given over the phone, which added to the intrigue. Our room was 2 storey's with a kitchenette & sofa bed downstairs and a large bedroom & huge beautiful bathroom with spa bath upstairs - it had everything we could possibly need & I only wish we'd been staying for longer to be able to appreciate it more. |The older child did complain a little about the sofa bed being uncomfortable, but he said it was OK. The upstairs bed was very comfortable, and the spa bath was amazing.|We were also surprised with breakfast "rations," which was a hugely generous supply of breakfast foods that we were not expecting but gratefully accepted. A nespresso coffee machine with pods was available too, as was a supply of T2 teas. |Would definitely recommend a stay here, but make the most of it and stay for more than 1 night.|

An incredible place to stay—truly a one-of-a-kind experience. It has a charming rustic feel while still offering all the modern comforts. We booked a one-bedroom suite with a double bed and a sofa bed for a 3-night winter stay. The space was generous, cozy, warm, and immaculately maintained—comfortable in every aspect. The bathroom was spacious and featured a spa, adding to the luxury. The fridge was thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a continental breakfast across our stay. There was also a Nespresso machine with plenty of pods, T2 tea bags, and more. Microwave, kettle, fridge, toaster and cutlery provided. The location is fantastic—close to excellent restaurants (the nearest just a 3-minute drive away) and wineries. And, the charming Hahndorf village only 20 minutes away. Highly recommended for families, couples, and travelers of all ages.

Loved the location and the look Would definitely stay again . Little things need to be looked at like when microwave and kettle were on at same time it put the power out which after finding supervisor was shown switch to turn back on. As this was known it should be noted in the room somewhere instead of of having to look for help .

What a beautiful venue for a wedding, I attended yesterday. Staff very friendly and food was exceptional. The only problem I found, as we stayed there overnight. Lovely clean rooms. Large choice of breakfast you can make in your rooms. I slept on the sofa bed and it's definitely needs another mattress or bed topper as the bars, dig into you and made it very uncomfortable to sleep Definitely recommend 100%, anyone looking for a hidden gem this is the place.🙂🙂

My daughter married on Saturday at the Manor. The Venue itself is spectacular. The gardens for the ceremony was pictureous, pre dinner drinks and starters on the Terrace and finally, the main dining room are beautiful. The service was of the highest standard,the quality and food portions were excellent. The assistance given for the whole event the Manor Team was outstanding.
