We stayed in one of the Art Deco-themed rooms at The Mansion Boutique Hotel and were overall very satisfied with our experience. While the room wasn’t very spacious, it was thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed and felt comfortable. The cleanliness was impressive—the room was cleaned daily, and we didn’t encounter any hygiene issues in any part of the hotel. The location is truly excellent—right in the city center, just a few minutes’ walk from restaurants, cafes, and major attractions. Breakfast was varied and tasty, and the staff were attentive and helpful. Overall, it’s a hotel we would definitely recommend for both its service quality and central location.

Lovely hotel in the old city. Location is perfect for exploring the old town and Parliament, lots of good restaurants and shops. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Rooms were huge and uniquely decorated. Breakfast was good. One note is that cars can't pick you up right at the hotel because it's a pedestrian area, so you will have to roll your luggage a few minutes.

Exceptional experience at The Mansion! I was on a bicycle trip from Amsterdam to Bucharest, and arrived with a bicycle loaded with bags and gear. The staff were very helpful and d accommodating, enabling me to securely store my bike and check in early. Room was huge and spotless and beautiful. Included breakfast was varied and delicious. The staff helped me plan my days, and helped me locate a bike box at a bike shop, which I needed for the plane trip back to the US. They provided a place for me to disassemble and pack my bike, arranged for a bug van to take me to the airport, and even helped me load the box into the van! Great location in the Old Town, an AMAZING gelato place just opposite from the hotel. Even though Old Town gets crazy at night with the bars and clubs, the location of the .mansion is on a quiet street. Would not hesitate to stay there again. The staff were SO helpful and friendly!

There are a lot of positives about this hotel, it’s a genuine boutique hotel with every room differently themed (I stayed in the Art Deco room), the building is beautiful, it’s tastefully furnished throughout (including my room) and it’s well located at the heart of the old town surrounded by bars and restaurants.|Two negatives, its location means it can be a bit noisy so book at the front of the hotel which is quieter. The other negative is the breakfast which was very basic (good coffee though) and not up to the standard of a 4 star hotel.|Would I come back ? Probably as my wife would love the decor.

What can I say but this is an amazing hotel in the heart of old town.||We arrived at the hotel after 10pm and were met by the most wonderful, friendly staff. Check in was quick and enjoyed a cold welcome drink before going to our room.||Our room was spacious and clean and we slept so soundly each night. Bathroom was well equipped and had everything you needed.||Breakfast was plentiful and fresh and just delicious.||We were celebrating a birthday and were blown away on returning to our room and finding a bottle of prosecco and a beautiful handwritten card. We had the most amazing mini break and highly recommend this hotel.||I would like to say the hotel staff were friendly and the front of the house/receptionist was outstanding making us feel at home.

What a lovely place to stay. In the heart of Bucharest Old Town. We had a great room, large and very clean. The bed was superking sized and very comfortable. On the downside was that there was no stand up shower. There was a shower hose, but you had to sit in the bath to use it. Great value for money and very helpful staff. Well worth the stay here. |The restaurant attached to the hotel where you would have breakfast... I wouldn't bother with. The food is OK.... if you get up at 7am to eat the hot servings any later than you can have it cold and don't expect a smile with your greeting. We went to the restaurant one evening. We had a fairly pleasant greeting. We ordered a nice bottle of Romanian wine. I ordered the lasagne and my husband ordered the Linguine el Scampi. When they arrived my husband had three large prawns still in their shells and with heads, no sauce and a couple of cold cherry tomatoes. My lasagne was awful. In edible in fact. It was stogey, no sauce, no meat just a lump on nothing in a bowl. |When we complained, they said that they would replace my husbands but not mine....|when the bill arrived they still had the meals on it. I politely refused to pay for what was inedible. They were not pleased.... ||There are so many other fantastic places to eat and on the doorstep. I would definitely use the hotel again but will have breakfast and dinner else where.|Bucharest and the trip to Peles Palace, Brasov and Bran's Castle is well worth a visit.

There are so many wonderful things to say about this hotel. It deserves 4 1/2 stars. The location is great for experiencing the Old Town. You have to be dropped off a couple of blocks walk away because it is on a pedestrian only street, but Ubers seem to know the corner to pick you up. I had an injured foot, so the walk pulling my suitcase over the cobbled street was a bit difficult. Plus the City has not repaired broken tiles and bricks in the street, so you need to be careful.||The hotel is lovely. Really clean and beautifully decorated. Large rooms. No elevator, and it was a climb to the first floor over a spiral staircase. The woman at the desk offered to help me with my suitcase, but my husband managed.||There was a tub with a handheld shower nozzle. A bit awkward again for me to climb in and out the deep tub. I had asked for a room with a shower, but maybe that would have meant another set of steps.||The breakfast was fine. I thought the selections were adequate, but the breakfast staff really needs some customer training. Never a smile or even a hello. Watched me struggle carrying coffee down the steps and didn’t offer help even though she was going same direction! Quite a contrast to the young woman who checked us in who was wonderful.||I recommend the hotel highly, but if you have mobility concerns, there are some issues.

This hotel is amazing. The staff went above and beyond when we were caught up in the Heathrow closure. They couldn’t be more accommodating. The rooms are incredible. Spotless. Nothing was too much trouble. The photos of this hotel do not capture the warmth from the staff and the ambience within the hotel. Definitely and highly recommend this hotel. Also for the convenient and central location to all the city offers.
