This is a revised review and rating for this hotel. The original was written whilst being kept awake by thumping noise from one of the nearby pubs. The hotel standard is exceptional as is the adjoining Italian restaurant for the hotel. The staff were very helpful and accommodating in finding me a quieter room. The original room I had (industrial) is located close to a nearby pub/club (the vintage) which thumps out noise until 4.30am. You don't just hear it - you can feel the vibrations through the headboard! That said, the second room I had on the opposite side of the hotel was much quieter and I managed to get some sleep on the second night. The hotel is located in the heart of the old town so ideal for seeing the city. I gave it a low location rating however as it is so close to this nightclub which is unpleasant. That pub also seems to be an attraction for football fans as the riot control police (many vans) were surrounding the establishment in force one night. The hotel staff say they've reported the noise on several occasions but the police do nothing about it. I do hope they persevere and are able to resolve the issue as the hotel is otherwise outstanding.

The hotel is in a nice street and does have internal rooms so non noise from the clubs around can be heared. Rooms are very nice and clean. It’s located in the best part of Bucarest. Staff is great and nice: we had a complementary prosecco on arrival. Breakfast is upper quality.

Perfect hotel. From the moment we arrived, we felt how much the employees wanted us to have a good time. We were in a room called Zen and it was really big. The breakfast is definitely rich, and in addition to the eggs on the The dividing line you can also choose all kinds of eggs from the kitchen. We were on the first floor and did not hear the street at all. I have read reviews here in the past about the noise issue and I want to say that it was not noticeable at all. I will recommend this hotel to friends and family when they are staying in Bucharest. Everything met expectations And there was even a transition.

Visited in December 2025 and had a great stay. A quaint boutique hotel with charm and great central location.||We stayed in the ‘Provence’ suite which was beautifully decorated and very comfortable.||The included breakfast was basic but perfectly fine for what we wanted.||Only downside was the proximity to the local nightclub which meant we could unfortunately hear the muffled thumping of the Bucharest nightlife until 4am most nights.||Also note that there is no lift due to it being a historic building.||The resident hotel cat, Tom, gets bonus points - very friendly and happy for strokes anytime from hotel guests 🐱

We stayed in the ottoman room and it was gorgeous. The location is wonderful. A quick walk to the middle of everything. They have a lovely terrace with an honesty bar where you can help yourself to a drink whilst sitting there looking over the rooftops of Bucharest. Wonderful! The best thing is the breakfast. I have never seen so much amazing food served for breakfast - there is so much of it. Andreea was lovely and welcoming. I wasn’t feeling very well one morning and she was so kind. A truly hospitable place. Book direct for the best price. They speak English and are so friendly. Highly recommended

Recently stayed in this hotel and it was absolutely delightful. The staff couldn't be more helpful and accommodating and I'd give them more than 5 stars if I could. The rooms have everything you need and I found mine to have plenty of room. The bed was very comfy too. For awareness and as others have mentioned: - there is no elevator but there are only two floors - the glass of prosecco on arrival is a lovely touch - it's a short walk to the nearest taxi pick up/drop off point - my room was street facing and there was some noise from nearby bars but nothing a good pair of earplugs won't fix - excellent location for museums, restaurants and bars

The hotel is situated right in old town so very close to loads of bars and restuarants . The hotel is small with themed rooms , we stayed in Minimalist which was at the front of the hotel so there was some noise from the bars at night. The room was spacious but we did not like the handheld shower over the bath - a hook to put the shower head on over the bath would have helped. Breakfast was good with some items available to order and we booked airport transfers through the hotel which were inexpensive .

Lovely hotel. Clean and comfortable rooms. Staff are very helpful and attentive. When we arrived we specifically asked if our room was quiet having read the reviews about the noice in the nights, to which we were assured it was. Unfortunately we had little sleep due to loud banging music from around midnight to form 4am. We reported this to reception as we checked out and had a mere shoulder shrug and nothing more. |Such a shame as the hotel it a little gem nestled in a slightly run down area, but the noise would put me off ever staying again as we are going home very tired when the point of our trip was to relax and refresh :-(
