The Marina Hotel

Had a very pleasant stay here. Love that the hotel is surrounded by lively pubs have beautiful water views. Perfect for the night out and conveniently heading to bed without having to drive. Very spacious rooms. Only down side was the living room was was too dim. Our room pretty quiet despite all the activity at the surround pubs and restaurants.

We absolutely love this hotel, having it so close to home is such a bonus! The rooms are always spotless, the staff are friendly, and it’s the perfect little escape without needing to travel far. Highly recommend for a staycation or last-minute treat.

Yes, a lovely spacious room with a beautiful balcony looking over the water. You should know we've stayed here many times, from when it was small and new - conveniently north of Perth for our homeward trip to Geraldton. It's good to see it booming. Great room, with even the bedside light working well - wonderful for night readers like us. (So many otherwise good hotels have hopeless bed lights.) There's a good choice of onsite dining venues, and attractive breakfast cafes. The only fault was our welcome; well, lack it it. Although the receptionist was indeed dealing patiently and cheerfully with another guest on our arrival, we were ignored, without so much as a " G'day, welcome - be with you soon". When we were eventually checked in, it was efficient but cold. No smile, no seeming awareness that we were tired travellers. That ( absent) greeting was noted with regret.

We had my daughters wedding a week ago the staff was amazing on the wedding night couldn't ask for better. Staff a reception was lovely and helpful. But one lady who was in the office out the front was very rude even to her staff. Hotel was clean but it has a problem with cockroaches everywhere. And was woken up with a lady doing blow vac to early for that.

Five stars for The Marina Hotel !! Not only were the staff more than accommodating to my requests they were so approachable and friendly. Once we entered our room OMG it was seriously a WOW factor ! Spacious, private, modern and to mention the view, it was just breathtaking. Definitely will be back again very soon .

Have been staying here for years, always a great stay and never disappointed with the service or cleanliness of the rooms, great bars close by and fishing boats to look at from your room. Smoking verandahs and lots of food close by. Pool always looks clean and hotel is always tidy. Best place to stay around mindarie for sure.

We were given an upgrade from a double room and were given a family room with two additional beds but now no ensuite, no idea why as there were only two of us. Having stayed before and thought the rooms were lovely the family room was very basic, with no lights in the main room only a lamp, no PowerPoints next to the bed and no ability to control the aircon properly on what was a freezing day. Our room smelt a little musty and was certainly not worth the premium price point.

I stayed at Mindarie hotel with family. The 3 bedroom villa was awesome, lush & so comfy. Would definitely stay here again. So impressed, thank you so much.

Mindarie Marina tries really hard to be just like Hillarys, but it doesn't quite pull it off. It has a hotel, several food places, like Dome, Boat and The Waterfront as well as a gift store, hairdresser and a photographer's gallery. It just doesn't have enough shops to draw the big crowds. This can be a good thing if you want a quiet meal overlooking the water, but it isn't really a place that you could spend the whole day at.
