We stayed for a week in a 2-bedroom apartment at The Marina Hotel in Mindarie, and it was a fantastic experience. The hotel is set right in the marina, surrounded by a great selection of restaurants and bars. The facilities were excellent—a lovely pool with a terrace bar, a small grassy hill for nighttime movies, and a playground nearby. One of the highlights was spotting dolphins playing in the marina from one of our two balconies! The apartment itself was comfortable, with great air conditioning and a bathroom bigger than my lounge room at home. However, I had mistakenly thought we would have a full kitchen, but instead, there was only the tiniest fridge I’ve ever seen—just big enough for a few small bottles of water and some milk. It did come with a kettle and cups, but since we were staying a week, we picked up a cheap toaster from Kmart and passed it on to friends when we left. One of the most memorable moments was the wonderful New Orleans-themed night, with live music and market stalls adding to the vibrant atmosphere. Overall, it was a great stay, and the price was excellent. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing marina getaway!

We love coming to the Marina Hotel. We get such a warm welcome from Steven every time. The balconies are wonderful to relax on and people watch! Great bars and restaurants there too. Feels like we’re on holiday every time we visit 😀

The Marina Hotel in Mindarie is my go to place for several mini breaks during the year. I’ve visited the Hotel at least 9 times and have always had the best time. The rooms are huge, spotlessly clean, beds are very comfortable, room comes with a huge balcony to enjoy spectacular water views and glorious Perth sunsets. Down stairs the night life vibe is buzzing. Steve behind the hotel desk is a professional, personable and very helpful. If you’re looking for that weekend break look nowhere else book in to the Marina Hotel at Mindarie. I’m going back again in March!!! 😊👍🏻

I spent the night before and the night of our wedding here and it was truly excellent. We stayed in a two bedroom suite. The room was well maintained and quiet. Massive, fully enclosed bathroom. We were given the best balcony with views both directions. The couch is very soft. The only complaint is that there was no full length mirror that I could find.

Mixed bag. Room was clean and very well serviced. Location and view was excellent. Down side was we struggled to get the room warm enough for our liking being winter, could smell the neighbours smoking when on the balcony. We stayed in Room 15 and it was extremely windy for 3 of our nights and the door seal to balcony did not seal well and wind was literally howling and whistling through the gaps making it tough to sleep. We informed management on our departure so hopefully this gets fixed. Could do with some lights on the steps that lead to rooms 15 and 16. Overall we were happy bar the whistling wind issue.

So loud. Rooms are right next to bars and clubs. Horrendous. It is a terrible place to stay, do not do it.

Yelp
Mindarie Marina tries really hard to be just like Hillarys, but it doesn't quite pull it off. It has a hotel, several food places, like Dome, Boat and The Waterfront as well as a gift store, hairdresser and a photographer's gallery. It just doesn't have enough shops to draw the big crowds. This can be a good thing if you want a quiet meal overlooking the water, but it isn't really a place that you could spend the whole day at.
