The Marmalade Pantry - Cafe Bistro @ ION Orchard

Had a wonderful Friday lunch at The Marmalade Pantry (ION Orchard) and was pleasantly surprised that we got a table almost immediately despite the lunchtime crowd. We started with the Sweet Potato Fries, perfectly crisp on the outside and fluffy inside, paired with a deliciously addictive sriracha mayonnaise. The Chilli Calamari was another standout; light, fresh, and well-seasoned, with the pickled chilli dressing, green pimento olives and chives adding a great balance of heat and tang. For mains, we tried their ION Orchard exclusives and they did not disappoint. The Smoked Duck & Coconut Curry Linguine was rich yet fragrant, with tender slices of smoked duck complemented beautifully by the spiced coconut curry, herbs, mustard greens and a squeeze of lime. The Barramundi Assam Risotto was equally impressive; the fish was cooked perfectly, sitting atop a bold and flavourful tamarind risotto, elevated by okra and crispy curry leaves. We couldn’t leave without dessert, and the TMP Sticky Date Pudding was the perfect ending to the meal. Warm, comforting, and indulgent, with rich toffee sauce, oat crumble, mixed berries and vanilla ice cream, truly a classic done right. What really elevated the experience was the exceptional service. The team was warm, attentive, and welcoming, making our lunch feel relaxed and special, especially during this festive period. Overall, a delightful dining experience from start to finish. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely be back for the high tea!

The food here was amazinggg!! i 100% would come here again!! as a tourist, this was one of the highlights of my trip. The carbonara was definitely a highlight, it was so creamy and perfectly made, I loved all the toppings inside with it (the bacon bits). The service was amazing here, everyone was so kind and welcoming, if you would like to come, know you will be treated very well!! If you go here, I highly recommend getting the carbonara and the truffle fries were quite good as well!! Will definitely be willing to try the dessert next time.

Visited it after its long renovation. The decor is very on point with its marmalade-inspired colours. Had the fried Brussels sprouts, cod fish and my favourite spicy crab linguine and sticky date pudding. Very satisfying lunch. Tried their new kombucha addition on the menu as well. Best kombucha I’ve ever tasted.

We had a lovely experience here. Dinesh was cordial, friendly, and gave us excellent service throughout. We enjoyed the salmon risotto and the duck & coconut linguine, and we found both dishes were rich in flavour and beautifully done. The truffle chips and fried calamari were perfect sides. For drinks, we had the apple & lychee juice and the passion fruit & mango juice, both refreshing and delicious. Overall, a wonderful meal paired with attentive service. Highly recommend!

The ambience at their ION store has definitely glowed up since they did the renovations! Feels so warm, cozy and orangey. Absolutely loved the barramundi assam risotto and the sticky date pudding!!!!! Service was lovely too ✨

Great place for a casual lunch. Food selection is great, enjoyed the cod that was well cooked and flavored. Also tried their signature crab pasta, filled with strong flavors to satisfy. The side of Brussels sprouts was also delightful. Highly recommend the selection of kombucha as they were delicious!

Splendid food and atmosphere. Able to use TriplePlus rewards which gave quite a lot of benefits. The manager was also very helpful in assisting us with our orders. Our server, Maria, was also very friendly and checked in with us on our time at the restaurant. The Mac and cheese was amazing. Beef burger was very filling. Can order many food items for all to share.

New menu at ion outlet. Love the barramundi risotto. Flavourful and has tinge of sourness so you won't get tired of the dish. The smoked duck curry linguine is also special, very local flavour. Prefer the risotto though. Barramundi is very well done, just cooked and the skin is crispy. Tripleplus member has more perks. Can sign up for it. Service is also very good, staff is attentive and polite.
