A museum that provides a narrative of what happened before the Mayflower departed, its voyager and ultimate arrival in North America. With a focus on not on those colonists, but those tribes that were ultimately colonised.
The museum is inexpensive, with a lift to all levels. You start at the top and work your way down. Due to the nature of the Mayflower, you won't see any primary exhibits (as few items would still be arouns from ordinary folk, with scant resources). Instead it will be from letters of the time, providing a narrative for the era and its impact to this day.
I did hear an old boy complain about how the museum doesn't say about all the good things the colonisers did. Even saying those tribes would want reparations. Considering 90% of the Wampanoag died because of the colonisers, mainly from disease, I don't think that is a pat on the back moment for England. He seemed like the type of person, that this sort of narrative displayed in the museum could open up other point of view.
