The burgers here are delicious! The secret sauce was a delightful surprise, not the typical burger secret sauce. Surprising selection of crafted cocktails with unique ingredients. Was a great time and they accommodated our table if 12 with seeming ease. It was a great dinner experience. Our server was very nice.

The restaurant part of this establishment that we've been going to for cocktails for years has really upped their game! My plate had (the brisket blue cheese burger) was awesome, I feel bad I ate the entire thing!! So good! And our server, who we've seen at the bar mostly was delightful and attentive as always! Wonderful!

Great food, really good drinks, and friendly, attentive staff. Had the pork tacos and they were absolutely overflowing with pork!! Best I’ve had since the last time I was in AZ. But that’s not the best part… secretly I judge every bar on its old fashioned. I got the smoked orange old fashioned and it was one of the best I’ve ever had, no joke, and I make my own, too. This is my highest praise lol. The only thing I would change is that since I usually dine alone, I love when the bartender strikes up conversation if they’re not too busy. It was chill so I would’ve love that! Will absolutely be back anyway!!

Only had drinks, but enjoyed spending some time at the bar. Jay was great and the live music was an added bonus.

Great food. Had the wings (10 to an order) with Asian sauce and blue cheese. Sauce had a great flavor and verrrry chunky blue cheese. Also had the BLT. Amazing flavor. When we come back to town, will definitely stop in for a guaranteed great meal. Good drink list as well.

We stopped here for dinner on our way through on Route 66. Sat at the bar and had excellent dinner of chicken and pork tacos. Jaye served us some excellent drinks. I had the Benny and it was amazing. She was so nice and made our dinner enjoyable. Great place to stop.

Great place to grab dinner before a concert. Had the bacon blue burger and the angus 66 or whatever burger with fries and salad. Soooo delicious. Great service and tried their new cheesecake dessert :)

We started off looking for a coffee and a sandwich but peeked in here and felt the sweet coolness of air conditioning and decided to have a late lunch and a beer instead. So many of the restaurants we had walked into were way too warm, so McMillans was a big relief for us. It was mid afternoon, their customers were mostly seated at the bar, and the hostess showed us at a cool, comfortable booth. Service was on point. Our server answered our questions, brought everything out quickly and was very pleasant. Unfortunately they did not have her name on the receipt, but she did a great job. We ordered the smothered fries which were crazy good- nothing healthy, only deliciousness. We also had the wings and the Caesar Salad with chicken. Generous portions and everything was fresh and tasty. Loved the extra flavorful croutons and the wedges of lemon too. We each had a drink and all three of us left full for right around $100 plus tip.

The McMillan is a very charming establishment in a beautiful building. Its location is great, with views of downtown and Route 66. Inside, picture brick, wood, and leather. The drinks were top notch. Didn't get any food, but will definitely go back again to try more.

My wife and I stopped in for a drink and ended up having dinner. Great, relaxing atmosphere. Live entertainment. Very attentive bartenders. The menu is fairly limited. I had the blue cheese burger. Burger was dry and not what I would expect for a $20 burger. My wife had fish and chips. Generous portion of fish and quite tasty. I would go that route if we return.

Service was just way too slow. They are likely understaffed, who knows nowadays, but in the middle of the afternoon on a Tuesday, a little more prompt service is needed. We had a drink each and their spinach and artichoke dip. Very very good. And the stone walls are a unique touch for the decor.

The McMillan is the best. The food is consistently good and the drinks are amazing. The bartenders are always so nice and attentive. Can't wait to visit again.

Visiting flagstaff and found this place on yelp. I liked the menu options, simple but SO GOOD. We started with a "Beeting" a delicious drink with some gin and beet juice and some other good stuff. I don't really drink gin and I recommend. I had the grilled salmon with quinoa, broccolini and lemon herb dressing..it was really good. My friend got the steak a frites...that was also fire. Meat was perfectly cooked tender and was incredible. Perfectly sized portions, good prices for how much food you get. It's one of the best meals I have had in a while. The service was good, food came quick! It was moderately busy in there for a Friday night, and the food came quicker than we expected. The drink options are all creative and really good. $14 for most mixed drinks, less for happy hour. The vibes in there were good, low warm lighting and some live music (old guy with a keyboard) that was actually great. Overall great experience and still thinking about how good that meal was, I had to write a review.

Had dinner here with 4 other friends. They are regulars in the area. Ambiance I Awesome old Well Fargo Bank Building with old school rock walls and clean restrooms!! Service - Was great! No complainys from our table of 6. All couples got separate checks with no grief from the staff. Food - Burgers (2) were cooked perfectly and good. Nothing special. Pozole (2) was pleaseantlty surprising. My wife is a Pozole Pro and liked it a lot. Critique - while flavorful the meat was minimal. But still a bit spicy for the average person. Mac & Cheese w/ bacon - BOMB! This large bowl of goodness was devaoured by the table. It was killer! Creamy, texture just all around great flavor in a large bowl! Mixed some into the pozole and it was life changing! Cocktails - 2 weak old Fashions. We had higher exceptions. Good to see what looked like a luxardo cherry. Beers cold and water was plentiful.

The pozole was delicious, but that didn't make up for the amount of time it took to get our food and the messed-up order I estimate we sat for 10 minutes before someone took our order. Then our waiter managed to get our order wrong....we watched the table next to us arrive 5 minutes after us and get their food five minutes before us. Just not an enjoyable experience.

Service, ambiance & food are excellent...Diana & Jeran Rock! I've been here on several occasions & have yet to be disappointed

My group rented the party room in the back and it, like the whole place, has lots of ambiance! Stone walls, dark, live music, the whole deal. Ask about the historic building/what it used to be for a bit of Flagstaff history. We had a very kind server who was attentive and gave us recommendations on food and drinks. I highly recommend the smothered fries (they have caramelized onions AND cheese curds!!), fried Brussel sprouts, and the chips with salsa and guacamole. The Mac and cheese was pretty bland, so go for the starters instead.

Rude hostess. Watch out they get overwhelmed if it's busy. Can't handle a rush. Need more training.

I didn't come here for the cocktails, just the food. I did hear that they are known for good ones, though for now, let us talk about the food. An order of chicken wings appetizer and then French fries topped with steak. A salad on the side. Everything was good. Plenty of wings we couldn't even finish the order. They were on the larger size. The fries are beer battered and they were amazing. Crispy, not too greasy, and cooked the right amount of time. 10/10! The steak was in a chimichurri sauce typical of an Argentinian dish and I ordered it medium rare. The flavor was rich and it was full of fat flavor but not marbled. Wonderful! The side salad was simple and great to have with the fries and steak. This dish was a great blend of everything I wanted in a dinner meal. The meat, the potato, and the salad. Well done all around I would recommend this place for a cozy night out.

Stopped in for happy hour and sat at the bar. Their sliders and pork tacos were just ok, but their cocktails were pretty good! Especially the beeting and the benny. Good service.

I really like eating at the McMillan. So it was a huge bummer that it said they were open but when we went to go in it was closed. Please fix your hours on your website and Apple Maps.

We were skeptical of the food, to be honest. Didn't have the best reviews. Personal opinion... phenomenal. We were frustrated that we couldn't find an open Thai restaurant after working the Blues fest. We were skeptical about ordering here, but it was what was open. Super delicious chicken phad thai! Food service & ambiance were also excellent on our Friday evening.

They had a great selection of bourbon and the bartender was very nice. Food was tasty and the view of the train station caps off the Flagstaff experience.

Really enjoyed our dinner here. We got seated right away, water arrived before we all even sat down, the craft cocktails were tasty (especially the the Benny), we all got the grilled salmon, and we all cleaned out plates. The atmosphere was cozy, and there was great live music! We might come back tomorrow : )

The staff was extremely rude. Long wait for a table which was fine since we didn't make reservation. Went to bar and got avoided and treated like we shouldn't be there. So we got up and left . Will never go back.

The food was pretty good, the whiskey selection was better than average, and the bartenders were saints for putting up with the people the group that sat near me.

Awesome drinks and apps, love the seating, decor and vibe of the place. Great location downtown flagstaff. I will return and try some more things off the menu. Prices are a little high.

I've actually never eaten here, just popped in for drinks. Had a delicious cocktail from the menu that I modified to my liking recently. It definitely hit the night cap spot! I've been here in winter, now end of summer. It's my goal to not make it 5 years between my next visit back :)

Very good drinks and apps! I absolutely love the vibe here though so I will definitely be back to enjoy snacks and drinks with friends. There is a room you can rent out for private events which is what my party did and it was awesome! Enough room for about 10 of us! Our server was friendly and attentive! Prices were a tad higher but the apps and drinks were so worth it. Mac and cheese needs some extra love but all in all I had a very enjoyable time here eating and drinking. Brussel sprouts took the cake that night! So good!!

Food: 2nd time I've tried this place, the first was over 3 years ago, must not of been great then either. Ordered the fish and chips, supposedly rock fish, batter was wet and greasy, the fish a bit dry. Fries were fries, just average. Nothing else came with it, no slaw? My co dinners had wings and they were average, sauce on the side and a average Cesar salad. Ambiance: cozy with warm lighting, booths or tables, nice view of trains Service: average, waitress never asked how the food was

One of my favorite restaurants in Flagstaff. My wife and I came here frequently when we lived close. The Reuben is the best I've had and the cheese curd fries are really good.

The mac n cheese was good but definitely overpriced. It's really only penne pasta heavily drenched in cheese sauce. For $14. I would've expected some garnish at least. And to add any meat - even bacon - was $7 extra. Definitely could've made better myself. The portion was filling at least. As for the service, I have no real complaints but it wasn't necessarily great. There was live music playing and dim lights which did create a great atmosphere.

Wow is an understatement, we came last night after lumberyard had some issues with their systems and couldn't seat us, and I am so thrilled! We asked our server (who happened to be the bartender) suggestion on food, she said steak frites and the Thai bowl so we got both and shared. Man I wish I got both to myself they were so tasty! It was Friday night and they had an awesome live band, which didn't get too loud and it seemed that they worked as a team which we loved! Will definitely be back every time we visit flagstaff!! Ps. The service industry is struggling right now, be patient and tip your servers!

Good service, decent food. Microbrew tab but the amber ale was good. One had salmon, said it was perfect. One had the tomato soup, found it bland. Two of us had fish and chips, I liked the fish, my son didn't. Fries we excellent. In an old bank from 1886 or something, loved the ambiance.

Food tasted great just way overpriced for the portion you get. Service was okay just really slow but that is because there was only one server on.

Don't listen to the 1 star reviews about this place. Amazing service. Amazing food. Amazing ambiance. If you like Gin, order the Benny. If you like seafood, order the Salmon. We're coming back tomorrow for a repeat.

My friends and I (8 of us) went in for food for her bachelorette party. The food was subpar and way overpriced. They shoved us in a back booth shoulder to shoulder and the service wasn't great. My boyfriend had one of the cocktails from the menu and he said it was not good. Also, the music was deafeningly loud after a certain time. Will not go back again.

My gawd. My gawd. My gawd. I cannot even begin to explain how amazing the Steak Frites are. Best money I've spent in a LONG time. And to top it off, the drinks are so on point, it only adds to the experience. Well done guys. Well done.

Great vibe, and food. Wings are killer. Totally worth it. Also where did they get that Pozole recipe?! Somebody's nana taught them well I think. Was not expecting that. Our service was lovely. All around a great experience and definitely a place I'll keep coming back to when in town.

Pretty decent food, but brutally bad service. Haven't wanted to walk out of a place more in my life. Bartender seemed absolutely pissed off to be there. I typically tip 20+ % and it hurt me to muster up 10% for this service. R.I.P. to this place in a couple years if something doesn't get done about that.

I love the wood and stone and dim lighting atmosphere of this place. Offer good menu choices and everyone at my table enjoyed it. I had the Brisket Burger and the crispy batter type fries. We rode here as a group of 25 people. When I return to Flagstaff I would come back that's for sure

Delicious food and good atmosphere! My boyfriend and I were in flagstaff for a night and grabbed some dinner here, and we were both very satisfied with our drinks and meals (big fan of the Arizona Mule). The steak frites were especially delicious. Server was kind too :)

Service was amazing! Cameron was an excellent and attentive server. The location's president Cesar made sure the night was memorable. Will definitely be coming back when we visit Flagstaff again.

Stopped in late on a Weds night. This was my first trip to Flagstaff and this was our first bar stop. We had a later dinner here. It was fair. The bartender was really good. This place is a nice bar and there are so many better options to eat but Flagstaff is not a late night place during the week when it comes to dining out.

Love this gem across from the train station. Try the Thai wings and ask for the best: Diana!!

If you like great bar food in a historical building in Flagstaff, this is the place for you. Owned by the folks who own the Vig restaurants in the Valley. Great food and great vibe. Don't be surprised to find Cesar, the company president, helping out behind the bar. Friendly atmosphere in a perfect setting.

One of my favorite bars in the Flagstaff area has to be McMillan Bar and Kitchen! I visited this location with three other friends on New Years eve and it was very busy (holidays, very understandable). We were seated after 45 minutes which was not too bad and as a plus we got to dine in the cool, little arcade room. We had an awesome waitress who was very friendly and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. We ordered the Grilled Chicken Sandwich and a bowl of Mac & Cheese (with bacon) to share for the table. The sandwich was good but everyone at the table couldn't stop eating the Mac & Cheese! Using the excuse, "Go big or go home," we were even dipping our fries into the mac n cheese. It has to be one of THE BEST MAC & CHEESES each of us has ever had! I would definitely want to try other things when I go back, but it would be so hard to pass up that Mac & Cheese. It doesn't stop there! A very pleasant surprise was also the dessert: the Tres Leches Cake. Some of us were even skeptical at the table but in the end it was the best dessert. It was the perfect amount of sweet! I'm so glad I finished an amazing year at this amazing location! The food, the atmosphere, classic arcade games and service was top-notch! I will be back in 2018.

The Benny is the best gin cocktail in town. It's amazing. I can't go here without getting the Benny and the smothered fries. Also the Reuben is incredible. Love this spot and the chill vibe. Good spot to sit at the bar, grab some food, and even watch some sports (couple of TVs behind the bar).

This place is pretty sick. The wife and I chose this restaurant/bar out of all the others because of the chill vibe and ambiance. The place is built in a historic building and decorated in an industrial feel so it keeps you feeling like you're a part of history! The service was exceptional even though there weren't many waiters/waitresses. Of course, we went on a Wednesday night during the first week of college break so students were busy loading up their things and heading home for the summer, but still, it was a great experience. Since we weren't extremely hungry, the wife and I shared the french dip sliders with onion rings which came out hot and tasty. ...oh...and don't forget the blazing fast free Wi-Fi! (see my pics) We will definitely be back when weekend vacay'ing in Flagstaff.
