Lovely little boutique hotel with a select number of rooms only, so limited tenant crowd. Fantastic location, plum in the heart of the old town but a walk away from the real hustle and bustle of the main square. room and hotel decor are stylish and modern, with all required amenities. front desk service impeccable, friendly and helpful. breakfast is served at the nearby cafe - here a little more care would be welcome, the omlette and sausages were not kept warm in the serving trays. otherwise selection and quality were fine, service equally attentive and friendly all in all a highly recommended venue for a more quiet and laid-back stay in Rovinj.

We had a wonderful stay! The location is perfect, right in the heart of the old town, and the apartment was beautifully furnished with great attention to detail. The service was excellent throughout our visit. Highly recommended!

From the minute we were met to show us the way to the parking lot to every little detail taken care of the Melegran exceeded our expectations. Welcome drink in their charming courtyard, fabulous breakfasts just a 1 minute walk, and perfect dinner recommendations. The staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable. You must go Istria, stop in Rovinj, and then stay 2-3 nights at The Melegran. The town and hotel will not disappoint.

Fabulous boutique hotel, right in the heart of the old town. So close to many bars and restaurants. Wonderful 2 bed suite on the top floor with a fantastic terrace. Perfect for our family. Cowshed toiletries very luxurious. Great fluffy bath towels. Loved the D and G kettle and toaster! Breakfast served in the restaurant Balbi next door. Kids loved the enormous croissants that they could fill with pistachio cream! Parking outside the old town, but the hotel sends out a buggy to collect and drop off.|Google maps sends you to the parking exit, rather than entrance. The staff worked it out though!

Beautiful, clean hotel in an excellent location. The service was fantastic, including transportation getting to and from the hotel (our driver was great and so friendly). They give you complimentary drinks when you arrive as well as vouchers to a cafe with delicious food. Love the bright decorations and the overall vibe!

Everything was excellent. A very friendly young woman picked us up from the parking area with a golf cart. The hotel is in a great location, and we had a room with direct access from the street. It was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. Breakfast was served in a nearby restaurant, which let us fully enjoy the atmosphere of the city.

Perfect Location & Charming Stay! What a gem of a boutique hotel in Rovinj! The location is absolutely unbeatable - right in the heart of the old town but tucked away on a quiet street. My husband and I stayed at the Melegran in the Cookhouse Studio for 5 nights last week. Our stay couldn’t have been better! We honestly didn’t want to leave. The studio room was spacious, giving us lots of room to spread out and relax. The location was excellent, just a very short walk to the Cathedral in one direction and the harbor in the other. We loved staying in the old town area. Every street and alleyway was an adventure with lovely shops and restaurants. The staff members were all friendly and accommodating. The golf cart shuttle upon check in and out was easy and convenient. Their private parking area was a quick 8 minute walk away when we wanted to use our car for day trips. I highly recommend this hotel.
