The Metropolitan Spring Hill

Very comfortable bed. My room is nice just not with the smells from the old cardboard. Very friendly staffs. Just be aware of operating hours for the lift. I checked out very early and had to call the receptionist to give me an access to the lift as I brought a big luggage.

Great that the motel is fairly close to the train station (about a 10 minute walk). Room was clean and tidy. Comfortable bed and dark curtains kept out the bright sun beaming in from outside. The receptionist was lovely and polite. Only downside was a step up to the bathroom, which to me is a big tripping hazard. Especially needing the toilet late at night. Would not be great for anyone elderly or with a disability. Also at night, the reception area and lift is blocked off, forcing you to use the stairs back up to your room. Not disability or elderly friendly or for anyone that has a big night out lol.

Affordable hotel near the city centre. About 15-20 mins up hill walk from the city centre. Checked in with low expectation but the room is renovated and look modern. The bed is comfy but close to a busy road and there is ongoing construction site right facing your balcony. It can be super noisier to affect your sleep and wake you up in early morning.

Thanks team very friendly accommodating and informative, we booked a double room but were updated to a family room free of charge, great location close to a lot of amenities rooms are very clean and spacious, parking on Edward is easily accessible thanks for having us we look forward to returning and highly recommend the metropolitan to anyone looking for quality friendly affordable accommodation cheers. I would recommend you bring plates and eating utensils.

The rooms are basic but comfortable and clean. Great location near Brisbane CBD and Brisbane Central Station. Air con blew cold and the showers were hot. What more could you want?

It was evident that the housekeeping staff had not properly cleaned before my arrival, very small room no window in bathroom or fan it stinks TV 📺 is like 20years old can’t connect to internet or any smart ways I don’t recommend this hotel at all to anyone you’ll regret your stay here i left and went home after an hour of checking in felt like jailed in there watching the walls

Positive: The staff very friendly and polite. Great service. Rooms clean.Walking distance to what we needed (eye surgery etc) Negative: No microwave in rooms.
