The Metropolitan Spring Hill

Overall a bit shabby, I didn't like the popcorn ceiling. You spend a lot of time looking at ceilings in a hotel and this made me feel sad. The doors had big gaps underneath, which causes issues with sound transfer between the hallways and rooms- could use a gap stopping brush to mitigate this at a low cost. Can't use the elevator to ground floor past 10, which is odd because there is a staff member present. A group of people, including myself, felt perplexed and confronted by this. Good location, nice staff, I need of some nessessary upgrades to compare to other modern hotels in the area :) Another honest review DOWN !!!!!

Front desk is great, holds bags before check in and even after check out, walk from station is on slight uphill incline but not too bad. Bed is comfortable, ac is great, bathrooms outdated but functional

All the staff were friendly, polite, helpful and made me feel welcome the entire stay. The rooms were nice and clean and what you would expect from a 3 star hotel. Location was perfect.

Positive: Room and bathroom very clean. Staff helpful, but didnt set my expectations of lugging luggage down stairs when im half asleep at 4am to catch a plane. Also the lift door was banging every time it opened all night. My room 220 backed onto the lift. Negative: I had a street front room. Very noisy in the day. Someone telling obscenities outside at 4am, which was intimidating when catching an uber.Lift doesnt work overnight so you have to carry your bags down flights of stairs. I was on floor 2.

Good for the location and price point. Staffs are friendly as well. Rooms can be a tad outdated but bed and sheets are clean. A good stay if you’re gonna be out for most of the time.

Positive: It's location, and the standard was adequate for our needs. Staff were friendly and helpful. Negative: Just wish we'd known about the free bus route going near it, when we arrived, so we didn't struggle up the hill from the train, with our luggage. Maybe you could include info about the bus route, and where to catch it and get off etc, on your website?

‼️‼️WARNING : ZERO SOUNDPROOF AND MUSTY ROOM. ‼️‼️ You will feel like you sleep on the street if your room face on the street side. Please never come if you don’t want your trip to be ruined .

Excellent value for money. Clean and well equipped, comfortable bed, which is rare in motels.
