Stayed 1 night while on a bicycle ride in VT. This is a lovely historic (almost 200 yr old) hotel. It is beautifully maintained inside and out. The room was immaculate, not large, but spacious enough to be very comfortable. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. I had an excellent, reasonably priced breakfast in the restaurant. My only suggestion for improvement would be a coffee maker in the room. Would absolutely stay again if I'm in the area.

The staff at Middlebury Inn could not be more friendly, more helpful, or more professional. Prior to arrival they helped adjust my reservation to the desired two nights. During stay they were always ready to help with every request or every question. The room was satisfying. The bedding was clean and comfortable. Altogether a great weekend.

The main house of the inn is charming and cozy, but it wasn’t clear upon booking that we would be staying in a run-down motor inn behind the main house. It was clean but old and your basic motel room, and not what we expected from the pictures and descriptions. Breakfast in the main house was delicious.

We had a good time staying here! It was right in the middle of the town so we walked everywhere. Didn’t move our car if going to dinner or anything. The staff was friendly and I thought it was a good price. The water was kinda cold and sometimes I can hear our neighbors but overall a good stay ! They have a restaurant inside which we didn’t get to try.

We recently celebrated our wedding at The Middlebury Inn, and it was absolutely perfect! The venue itself is stunning, with beautiful decor and a timeless feel, providing the ideal backdrop for our special day. Our coordinator, Rachael, was incredible throughout the entire planning process. She was organized, attentive, and truly went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. She took care of every detail, allowing us to relax and enjoy the moment. When rain threatened our outdoor ceremony, Rachael quickly adapted, moving everything indoors and saving the day. Thanks to her efforts, our wedding day was unforgettable. We highly recommend The Middlebury Inn and Rachael to anyone looking to create a magical experience!

The Inn is in a great location, walking distance to bars, shops and restaurants. The beds were comfortable with a clean room and bathroom. Restaurant service and good could've been better so it was just okay on that end. Overall, I'd stay again and just not include breakfast next time.

The Middlebury Inn is a beautifully restored building that seamlessly integrates modern conveniences into it's architecturally significant building. We stayed in the annex (a sore knee prevented me from attempting a lot of stairs in the main building) with a mini fridge and microwave but the main building was warm and open. We had a nice dinner in the restaurant within a Christmas decorated atmosphere.

Nice historical hotel we thought, until they hosted an unbelievably loud hip hop party right under our room in the main building on Sunday night. I'm literally shaking as I write this at 9:45pm. No warning about it at all, even though we have a morning tour at the college. I'm all for people having fun and dancing, but the staff should not put other guests right above the party. It's unbelievably loud, and the front desk was basically like "tough" when I nicely inquired about it.
