My experience leans more on my dinner time. I was sooo hungry after a whole day of travel and meetings . It was all fatigue and hunger until i met Bruce who was serving me . He is swift, and i mean swift, he said your meal will take 7mins and it took exactly 7mins. I was impressed and even mentioned it to him . Thank you Bruce . |Hotel is clean , beautiful , good service and good food. Thank you Midland Team

I stayed at The Midland as part of a safari tour on the way to Lake Nakuru. The grounds and rooms were great. The staff were all so helpful & polite. The restaurant food was great with plenty of options. My room was spacious and clean. The shower pressure was good and the water was hot. The surrounding area has plenty of shops & restaurants if you were looking for something outside of the hotel. ||As a female solo traveller I felt safe at the hotel and the staff were very helpful- I didn’t carry my suitcase once. They were also very good at asking if needed anything. Everyone interacted with was lovely and a credit to the hotel.

The only thing I truly enjoyed about my stay was the assistance from my tour guide, Linus. He was incredibly supportive and always there to help with everything — a real highlight of the trip. About the HoteI, I couldn’t take a proper shower because the water was either boiling hot or freezing cold. I informed the staff, and someone came to check, confirmed the issue, but nothing was done. I also politely asked for a late checkout of just a few hours, but I was told I had to pay for an extra night instead. In the end, I had to change hotels with their approval.

The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Nakuru town. The rooms are tastefully furnished, very comfortable, and the showers are simply amazing. The food selection is wide, well-prepared, and delicious. The staff are warm, friendly, and always ready to help—making the stay truly enjoyable.

We stayed at the Heritage Wing on the ground floor and felt comfortable right from the moment we checked in. The process was quick and smooth, which was such a relief after a long day of travel.||||What really stood out for us was the warmth and hospitality during our meals. By the time we came down for lunch and dinner, the buffet was already over. But instead of turning us away, the staff offered to serve us à la carte dishes on the house — a gesture that really touched us. Richard, in particular, was a great help and went out of his way to make sure we were looked after.||||The rooms were modest but had everything we needed. If there’s one small area to improve, it would be the TV channels, which could have had more variety.||||Another thing we loved was the hotel’s central location. After our tour, it was nice to be able to step out for a leisurely walk around town.||||Overall, our stay at Hotel Midland was made special not by luxury, but by the genuine kindness of the people. That’s something we’ll always remember.

I had dinner on September 11th at 10:00 PM at the hotel restaurant where I’m staying. I ordered one white Martini (200 shillings). When the bill arrived, they charged me 400 shillings for two. I told the waitress I had only ordered one, but she said she had served me two shots and that I had to pay. Even though I explained again that I only asked for one Martini, she just said “sorry for the misunderstanding” but insisted I must pay the full 400. Very disappointing service from this waitress who refused to correct the bill even knowing it was unfair.

Despite its location in the centre of Nakuru, the Midland hotel is an oasis of quiet and space. Food was good and the room was fine. Staff were friendly and helpful. A handy and relaxing stop if you are visiting Lake Nakuru National Park. Good value as well.

The deluxe room is comfortable. Unfortunately I went when they were very busy I believe they were overwhelmed and I did not enjoy their services. Some essential things were not available in the room plus they have limited amenities.
