The Midland Hotel, Nakuru

Midland Hotel Nakuru offers excellent value for money. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the food is good, and the service is friendly and efficient. The location is convenient, and the overall atmosphere is calm and pleasant. A solid choice in Nakuru for both business and leisure stays. Highly recommended.

I have known this hotel from the early 90s. It was famous for it's grilled chicken. My late Dad would take me there for breakfast, lunch and dinner when I was still in college. I made it a must stopover for my children to reminisce on that happy childhood. Recently, I had an important occasion and chose it as the rendezvous. The elder in our entourage ordered for fish. Tilapia to be precise. Midland does not serve fish. Be warned ⚠️ accordingly 😌

Easy access 😎 👌 great reception from the entrance 👏 to the welcome walk though by the service employee.. High tech clean, great space for both single and large families... Great food 😋 repeat repeat 👌 I loved everything ❤️

Gorgeous, gorgeous hotel, maintained aesthetic of the 70s and attentive to details. Amazing decor. Food 6/10 at peak season.Food well priced Otherwise a must visit in Nakuru, whether staying for the night,as couples or family or if on transit as it is along the highway. Service was good

Rooms|Really good amenities, cleanness and well kept. ||Location|Right in the middle of Nakuru town, unfortunately no in-house activities. No swimming no nothing. Just good accomodation and restaurant. ||Service|A little bit below the expectations. Food ran out before all guest could eat in their buffet. This happened so often, seems to be a thing here. Waiters are pretty slow to help around the restaurant too. Please work on this

The only thing I truly enjoyed about my stay was the assistance from my tour guide, Linus. He was incredibly supportive and always there to help with everything — a real highlight of the trip. About the HoteI, I couldn’t take a proper shower because the water was either boiling hot or freezing cold. I informed the staff, and someone came to check, confirmed the issue, but nothing was done. I also politely asked for a late checkout of just a few hours, but I was told I had to pay for an extra night instead. In the end, I had to change hotels with their approval.

My experience leans more on my dinner time. I was sooo hungry after a whole day of travel and meetings . It was all fatigue and hunger until i met Bruce who was serving me . He is swift, and i mean swift, he said your meal will take 7mins and it took exactly 7mins. I was impressed and even mentioned it to him . The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Nakuru town. The rooms are tastefully furnished, very comfortable, and the showers are simply amazing. The food selection is wide, well-prepared, and delicious. The staff are warm, friendly, and always ready to help—making the stay truly enjoyable.
