So the story goes like this, the guy who is the head chef at the fancy and delicious "Hudson on the Bend" restaurant in Austin wanted to bring his style and flavors to a more budget-friendly location and thus born - Mighty Cone. Everything is served out of a food trailer and into these paper cones. The fried chicken and the fried Avocado are the most popular items on the menu and for good reason - they are delicious. This trailer has been featured on numerous TV & radio shows. It's a semi-new way to try foods by a renowned chef. Check it out.

The first time I had a mighty cone was at ACL, and boy do I love it. It has the perfect crunchy and soft combo. Try the avocado and shrimp when you can. I haven't had the fries yet but they look, smell and sound delicious.

Feel in love with this place when they sold food at ACL and it has to be one of the reasons that makes ACL even better!. The food presentation is pretty innovative. It has a taco feel but its more dinner in a cup! My favorite is the fried avocado taco, healthy and not heavy. Top 5 places to visit in Austin for restaurants!

Started off as Hudson's on the Bend offering for Austin City Limits festival food. Where else can you get Hudson's on the Bend for $6? The hot and crunchy comes from a combination of crushed cereal and magic fairy dust that comes together in fusion of flavor. Add the cool and creamy slaw on top for texture and contrast for a hand held feast.

The staffs are friendly. I found them in South congress and now they moved even closet to campus. Their fried pickle is the best. I used to love their fried chicken but now I don't eat meat. Their fried avocado is amazing.

Ever since the food trucks on Soco left, I was so sad until I realized that Mighty Cone moved into West Campus, conveniently near my apartment. I love the food, especially the shrimp and avocado cone with their chili dusted fries.

I just had the chicken and avocado cone. At a price of $6.78, it tasted pretty good. Tortia, slaw, and one piece each of chicken and avocado. It's a bit small for dinner, but good for a snack.

I've been eating Mighty Cone since ACL circa 2007. These guys are still going strong after moving from their S. Congress location and the chicken cone is still as tasty as ever. Long live the cone!
