"Darwin's Milk Bar This place doesn't top the charts for ambience or prices, but if it's coffee you're after you won't be disappointed. The Milk Bar is the sister cafe to Four Birds, and milk and espresso is what it does best. Order a takeaway coffee and a sweet snack like Darwin's latest craze, the bronut (brioche dougnut), and walk away along the Esplanade happy."
I ordered a take away large flat white coffee. It felt light when I picked it up and it was a decent 2cm from the top. I started drinking it and all I got was froth for a the first few mouthfuls (flat white shouldnt have anywhere near that amount of froth?). The coffee was very cold aswell.
Since the recent coffee maker has changed (last 2 weeks) the coffee is ordinary and overpriced for what you get.

I dropped in today for a gourmet sandwich and a super super strong flat white. The coffee was perfect and a sandwich with some of my wacky ingredients was to die for - quite possibly the best sandwich ever had!
Service with a smile and very efficient

Nice friendly staff however there is no real value for money. The milkshake and juices were small for $8-9 and the meals were tasty but expensive for what they were. Also took rather long time from ordering.

Ordered my usual flat white! It was delicious! 4 stars for their coffee. I didn't order any food so I can't comment on that. The cafe had a really lovely organic vibe. Unfortunately I didn't get any photos but it was really pleasant. $4.50 for a small coffee, not sure of the pricing for med and large but I would say $4.50 for a small is a tad bit expensive.
