The Mill Echuca

Amazing cozy place, second time visiting. Was here in January and had to come back. Had the steak last time and the bbq ribs this time. Topped it off with the sticky date pudding. Don’t disappoints quality excellent serve excellent. Lovely warm fire place to sit and relax if the weather is cold, great for family get together big venue. Love the chandelier inside and the grape wine out the front as well!

I love it when a building like this is restored for all to enjoy even though the restaurant only exists on the first 2 floors. What I don’t like is when the entrees come out 30 minutes apart. And when the waitress finally comes near you to ask if everything is ok, I asked about the status of my entree. She disappears to find out but doesn’t have the courtesy to inform me. Instead she completely ignores our table. That is so infuriating. I would prefer to know the chef forgot to prepare the entree than be totally ignored. And I would much prefer the entrees are held until everyone’s entrees are ready.

I had an outstanding experience at The Mill. The service was warm and efficient, with our waitress providing excellent recommendations. The food was magnificent, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The cocktails were also delicious and elegantly served. Overall, The Mill exceeded my expectations with its fantastic service and wonderful cuisine. Highly recommended!

The staff was helpful, the atmosphere was great. Loved the ambience of the place. Ordered 2 drinks, small plate and 2 big plate. The drinks and the small plate was good, it came quick too. It was not busy, but we have waited our main food for 45-60 mins. As its written big plate, on the menu we expected the pie will be big ( considering it was not cheap too) but infact it was just normal size pie, and inside was dry. My husband was starving, but he ended up ate just half of it.

Beautiful meal in a building that has lovely ambience. The staff were friendly and very helpful and courteous. We opted for a selection of small platters and were so happy with the quality and taste. Highly recommend. Thank you

What a surprise to Find a amazing restaurant in refurbished old flour mill , chandeliers highlight a beautiful ambience, cruisy music provides the atmosphere , tim and staff very professional and pleasant, the menu is unique in that you can choose small or large serves of the dishes,the wine, pasta, mussels and especially the Brussel sprouts (you have to taste them) were excellent, and affogato for dessert, cannot recommend highly enough

We ordered 4 starters, that were a flavour sensation! They were so delicious we could have just had more of them for our meal. Our mains were also fantastic, we left so full we almost felt ill!! Love the atmosphere & decor, The Mill is always a great place for night out. We will definitely be back again.

Okay, this is probably another one of those bar/restaurant type of places, but in a way it is still actually pretty cool. Yeah, in fact I rather liked the place, though that probably had a lot to do with the rather nice range of beers they had available. It is actually located in the old Mill, which I found to be rather nice, though it isn't really all that close to the main touristy area of the city. However, the service was good, and even though it was rather fancy inside, it was nice rather nice. Oh, and the bar area was definitely a place where you could feel comfortable just having a beer.

Lovely food but atrocious, rude service. I replied to an email from the restaurant which asked for "feedback" on our visit. I outlined our rather poor experience and they did not even give me the courtesy of a reply.
