The Mill Resort Aruba

We recently stayed at The Mill Resort Aruba and had a great experience. The location is perfect—just across from Palm Beach, so you’re close to the sand, restaurants, and shops, but without the crazy beachfront prices. They also offer a shuttle if you don’t want to walk. Our room was clean, bright, and comfortable. We stayed in a suite with a kitchenette, which was super handy for snacks and quick meals. Some rooms are more basic, so I’d recommend checking what’s included when booking. The vibe here is really friendly and laid-back. The staff are warm and helpful, always making sure you feel welcome. The pools are nice, and there’s a small bar and casual restaurant on-site—perfect for a relaxed afternoon. Breakfast was simple but good, and we enjoyed some poolside drinks while watching the day go by. Overall, The Mill Resort Aruba is a solid choice if you want comfort, convenience, and a friendly vibe at a fair price. Great for families, couples, or anyone who wants to explore Aruba without staying in a huge resort.

My family and I stayed here for 8 nights. The staff is all super helpful and accommodating. The ground are very well kept, we constantly saw them cleaning. The restaurant is delicious. Breakfast has made to order omelets which was a nice addition. The beach access is in a beautiful spot; towels, chairs and water are provided. Our only issue was the beach shuttle was sometimes slow to pick us up from the beach, but other than that everything else was great.

I wish I could give it 5 stars. Location is cross the street from the beach, but it's much lower price than hotels on the beach. And shuttle to the beach works fine. Breakfast was good also. But the rooms - it doesn't say in the description that bathroom is open to the bedroom. Toilet and shower have just glass door, which doesn't close completely (2 inches gap). So, you cannot do even your "business" in privacy. Double sink is in bedroom. So, anybody using bathroom at night will wake up the other person. Housekeeping people are nice, they do your bed perfectly. But twice they didn't give us any toilet paper, they didn't fill kleenex box, they never filled up soap bottle in the shower. Beach was nice but almost impossible to get umbrella. Even if you come early, all chairs with umbrellas are "occupied" by the towel or shoes. Sometimes people show up 3 or 4 hours later. Sometimes never. And attendants don't care. I guess it depends how much you tip them. Sorry, wouldn't come again.

We had an absolutely amazing time. We had such a great dining experience, with Aishwan as our waiter, the service was perfect, the food was delicious. It was so good, we opted to stay at The Mill to eat a second night rather than venture out.

We hit The Mill strictly for the club vibes - don’t ask about the rooms, unless you enjoy loud music blasting your ears out until 5 AM I wouldn't recommend staying there... IMO Airbnb is the way to go in Aruba 100% Since the island’s after-hours scene is limited, The Mill is the spot to be. The hip-hop and electro sets were honestly a mood, even if the drinks were overpriced (standard Aruba nightlife tax, honestly) we had did enjoy ourselves quite a lot there. As it's after hours, the crowd usually arrives hammered, so I'd recommend sticking with your crew to avoid porential chaos. The MVP award goes to the staff. We went twice and they gave us total VIP energy both times - fully earned those tips on our exageratted tabs. Pro Tip: Greet and tip the doormen immediately as you enter the club. It changed our whole night. Security kept an eye on us at all times, and even escorted us through the parking lot to the car when we decided it was time. Total peace of mind, much welcomed when it's almost 5 AM, especially since my girl was looking 11/10 in her island fit... I mean, if you know, you know!

Pool side food ordered and delivered, 2 story resort, 5 minutes to your room from pool. Staff response to issues accomplished in a timely manner. B. Ras of the Courtyard has taken the staff to a new level in my opinion. I must say that I do remain biased.

VERY STRONGLY NOT RECOMMENDED.|The hotel photos are highly misleading and completely different from reality. This is by far the worst hotel beach on the entire island of Aruba — extremely crowded, no access to sun umbrellas, people packed on top of each other, making any kind of relaxation impossible.||There was no drinking water provided in the room, which is unacceptable given the climate.|The staff was rude and unhelpful, showing a complete lack of customer care.||A so-called “garden view room” is in fact a direct view of the hotel fence.|Additionally, beware of rooms without balconies — this information is not clearly communicated at the time of booking.||Overall, this place is overpriced, overcrowded, and deeply disappointing.|We are genuinely surprised by the positive reviews — our experience was the exact opposite.

We had a great time staying at the Mill Resort Aruba. Staff is friendly, attentive. We were welcomed with drinks when we got in. There are two pools with a pool bar and a hot tub, walking distance to the bird sanctuary and other food places, shuttle to the beach, free parking. Room was open concept with a huge shower and a patio. No issues, would highly recommend.
