The Mill Resort Aruba

We recently stayed at The Mill Resort Aruba and had a great experience. The location is perfect—just across from Palm Beach, so you’re close to the sand, restaurants, and shops, but without the crazy beachfront prices. They also offer a shuttle if you don’t want to walk. Our room was clean, bright, and comfortable. We stayed in a suite with a kitchenette, which was super handy for snacks and quick meals. Some rooms are more basic, so I’d recommend checking what’s included when booking. The vibe here is really friendly and laid-back. The staff are warm and helpful, always making sure you feel welcome. The pools are nice, and there’s a small bar and casual restaurant on-site—perfect for a relaxed afternoon. Breakfast was simple but good, and we enjoyed some poolside drinks while watching the day go by. Overall, The Mill Resort Aruba is a solid choice if you want comfort, convenience, and a friendly vibe at a fair price. Great for families, couples, or anyone who wants to explore Aruba without staying in a huge resort.

Where to start. The whole stay was fabulous from check-in with Kendrick and Glen to check out with Marvin and Bryan. The resort was exactly as pictured which we appreciate. It was clean throughout the entire resort. I don't think i saw one piece of trash anywhere. Our room was a king pool view and it was nice to just walk out and be at the pool. There was only one couple holding their chairs with towels and it was refreshing to go out at anytime and have sun lounges and sun beds available. All the staff works extremely hard to make your stay perfect. The waiters and waitresses were lovely, this includes Eddy, Jose Andre, Juliette, Amy, Danilo Jr and Elvie. The breakfast was great, hot and there was a TON to choose from including gluten free items. The pool was nice, clean and Daniel was fabulous always taking care of us everyday and is just fun to be around. The beach is beautiful , the ride to it is less than 4 minutes (they take you back and forth with a golf cart) and there are chairs, umbrellas, floats, towels and ice water with lemon available. Is the resort on the beach? No but i feel it checks all of our boxes for a fabulous vacation. We are looking forward to coming back in April 2026. You can't beat the price and the location to everything.

The hotel experience is amazing, the room were pretty clean and well organized. They have all the support for you to go to the beach, a shuttle that comes and goes every 15 minutes, chairs, towels and fresh water waiting for you when you arrive. Besides that, the breakfast is amazing and all the servers that we’ve met were extremely gentle all mornings. They also have a great pool, with wet bar and clean towels, we would like to highlight Andy and Daniel’s work at the pool, they were very gentle and kind with us. Congrats on the team, we highly recommend the hotel

Clean, quiet and pleasant. The Mill resort is on the same property as the Courtyard Marriott, with the same pools and restaurants. The only difference between these two is the room amenities and the price. |A free shuttle to the beach is available. |The breakfast is decent. The only downside was that it was the same things every day. |There are a few restaurants available; only one was open on Sunday, so we didn't have many choices when we arrived. |By the pool, there are daily activities, live music, and a pool bar. |The iguanas on the property were the highlight of our mornings. |The price is reasonable and much lower because it is 5 minutes from the beach. We loved everyone and everything about this place. Definitely going back!

VERY STRONGLY NOT RECOMMENDED. The hotel photos are highly misleading and completely different from reality. This is by far the worst hotel beach on the entire island of Aruba — extremely crowded, no access to sun umbrellas, people packed on top of each other, making any kind of relaxation impossible. There was no drinking water provided in the room, which is unacceptable given the climate. The staff was rude and unhelpful, showing a complete lack of customer care. A so-called “garden view room” is in fact a direct view of the hotel fence. Additionally, beware of rooms without balconies — this information is not clearly communicated at the time of booking. Overall, this place is overpriced, overcrowded, and deeply disappointing. We are genuinely surprised by the positive reviews — our experience was the exact opposite.

Great service all week from Daniel, the pool server. He is very personable and attentive. He came around many times to make sure we had everything we needed. Would say he is a very valuable employee.

Everything was perfect. Elaine from housekeeping, Adrian at poolside, Jose in Guest Services and Jeki at Reception were outstanding the entire week. We are coming back in April for our seventh visit there.

Its a verry nice and cosy hotel. Spacious rooms, verry nice and kind employees. A specialy de waiters around the pool and the bar. We felt verry welcome. The employees take a lot of care to give us a good vacation.
