I just had my wedding here last weekend, and I cant stop thinking about how much of a dream it was. First of all, the venue was gorgeous and totally unique. Our guests couldn't stop complimenting the space! But the real cherry on top was working with The Millhaven team. They were so kind and extremely helpful and communicative throughout all of the wedding planning. They always answered questions with grace, and they were helpful when we were trying to find other vendors to work with. I know some of the vendors from the day commented on how great and helpful the team there had been. They were on time for all of our meetings and on top of every detail. We got married during peak season, so I know that can be hars to do! My husband and I are so grateful for the the experience we had here!

Besides, the team at The Millhaven is hands down the best we have in West Michigan. Their design and execution skills are unparalleled, but what really sets them apart is their love and care for their couples and their families. This space is gorgeous for any event or wedding. Especially if you want to mix modern with classic European in your event decor. The stunning European style bar is an inviting visual adventure for your guests as their order his and her’s custom drinks on your special day. They can daydream their beside the Seine in France or the Limentra di Sambuca in Tuscany. While the red brick interior gives a more industrial modern vibe that is somehow simultaneously warm and inviting. Also, not to be missed is the fun and peaceful greenhouse. With its black and white checkered floor and light wood furniture it would make a stunning spot for a ceremony. As a photographer the lighting was a dream. Not to be left unmentioned is the staff. Jen and her team go above and beyond to make their guests feel seen, valued, and served at the highest level. They are intentional, servant hearted, visionary, and dream makers. You can go wrong trusting them to bring your wedding hopes to life.

Our wedding at The Millhaven was truly a dream come true! We utilized their full planning team, and they were absolutely amazing to work with. They met with us almost monthly leading up to our big day, ensuring every detail was thoughtfully planned and perfectly executed. It was such a relief to have them handle the décor — they completely understood our vision and brought it to life beautifully. What really stood out was how much they cared. The entire team made our family feel like their family, and they put so much focus on creating an incredible guest experience. From start to finish, everything felt seamless and welcoming. We had a winter wedding at The Millhaven, and our family stayed at Greencrest Manor the night before, while our guests stayed at FireKeepers Casino Hotel. We had a winter wedding and their team flipped the Pickle Factory for cocktail hour, reception, and ceremony. Everything flowed perfectly, and the entire weekend felt magical. We can’t recommend The Millhaven enough for anyone looking for a stunning venue with an amazing team that turns your wedding day into a true fairytale!

We had the absolute best experience holding our ceremony and reception at The Millhaven. The staff was very communicative, organized, friendly, and supportive during the whole process which made our actual wedding day so enjoyable and such a breeze! On top of that, the actual venue itself looked stunning and was the perfect setting for all of our guests. We could not have asked for a better venue or staff!

Jenn and her team went above and beyond to make my bridal weekend so special. We were able to enjoy all the unique spaces at Mill Haven creating a very thoughtful experience for my freinds. We started with lunch in the Greenhouse as we were greeted with a welcome drink followed by a flower arranging class in the Venue. The gardens were spectacular and in full bloom. I wish we could relive the day!

Thank you so much! From the beautiful room for the bridal party to chill and get ready, to the ceremony in the greenhouse to the reception in the pickle factory and everything in between outstanding and gorgeous!!! Couldn't have dreamed that up! And most importantly my daughter dreams came true!! Absolutely magical!!! Staff was so accommodating, flawless and came off without a hitch!!

I came here yesterday for a friend's bridal shower. I posted a few photos here of the space but not too many, because hers was Bridgerton-themed and it looks like the space is pretty versatile. I found out later they have two event venues, the greenhouse (where we were) and the old pickle factory, in the back. The greenhouse was very nice and held up well for our party of 30 or so. The pickle factory can apparently seat up to 250, according to The Millhaven's website. This venue would have been 5 out of 5 stars for me except for one reason: I'm pregnant and I have Crohn's, and the bathroom choices for the greenhouse or either to go inside, and you have to go past the cash register and into the kitchen, or to the pickle factory which was like a 1-minute walk. I couldn't find the pickle factory until the end of my friend's event, and when I did see it, it was very nice, with extremely modern bathrooms - I believe the space is newish, because my friend said when she originally visited The Millhaven, it wasn't even built yet. I would consider holding an event in either space though because both were very unique, and service was great, as well. I had never been to Marshall before - my friend and most of us in attendance live in the Metro Detroit area - and the downtown looked very cute, as well.
