I came here yesterday for a friend's bridal shower. I posted a few photos here of the space but not too many, because hers was Bridgerton-themed and it looks like the space is pretty versatile.
I found out later they have two event venues, the greenhouse (where we were) and the old pickle factory, in the back. The greenhouse was very nice and held up well for our party of 30 or so. The pickle factory can apparently seat up to 250, according to The Millhaven's website.
This venue would have been 5 out of 5 stars for me except for one reason: I'm pregnant and I have Crohn's, and the bathroom choices for the greenhouse or either to go inside, and you have to go past the cash register and into the kitchen, or to the pickle factory which was like a 1-minute walk. I couldn't find the pickle factory until the end of my friend's event, and when I did see it, it was very nice, with extremely modern bathrooms - I believe the space is newish, because my friend said when she originally visited The Millhaven, it wasn't even built yet.
I would consider holding an event in either space though because both were very unique, and service was great, as well. I had never been to Marshall before - my friend and most of us in attendance live in the Metro Detroit area - and the downtown looked very cute, as well.
