We stopped by for coffee and a pastry and opted for a flat white, a cappuccino, and a raspberry pain suisse. Both coffees were excellently prepared—balanced, aromatic, and showcasing well-textured milk that complemented the espresso’s natural sweetness.
The pastry was beautifully crafted and visually striking, with an impressive exterior lamination. However, on closer look, the interior layers seemed a bit compressed, lacking the airy openness typically expected from a laminated dough. The raspberry filling was pleasant, though its flavor was more subtle than anticipated; a touch more brightness or tartness would have really lifted the profile.
The café itself was wonderfully peaceful. The window-side bench seating offered the perfect spot to enjoy our drinks, read for a while, and watch the world outside—an ideal setting for a calm break. The atmosphere felt warm, inviting, and unhurried.
The staff member who assisted us was friendly and efficient, adding to the pleasant experience.
