The Miners Coffee Old Town

We stopped by for coffee and a pastry and opted for a flat white, a cappuccino, and a raspberry pain suisse. Both coffees were excellently prepared—balanced, aromatic, and showcasing well-textured milk that complemented the espresso’s natural sweetness. The pastry was beautifully crafted and visually striking, with an impressive exterior lamination. However, on closer look, the interior layers seemed a bit compressed, lacking the airy openness typically expected from a laminated dough. The raspberry filling was pleasant, though its flavor was more subtle than anticipated; a touch more brightness or tartness would have really lifted the profile. The café itself was wonderfully peaceful. The window-side bench seating offered the perfect spot to enjoy our drinks, read for a while, and watch the world outside—an ideal setting for a calm break. The atmosphere felt warm, inviting, and unhurried. The staff member who assisted us was friendly and efficient, adding to the pleasant experience.

We stopped by this café for a quick coffee, and it was… fine. The coffee itself was pretty average, very standard and nothing that stood out — a real 3-star, 08/15 experience. What really left a negative impression, though, was the restroom, which was unfortunately quite dirty. It’s one of those small details that makes the whole visit feel less pleasant. Overall, okay for a quick stop, but not a place we’d go out of our way to visit again.

The coffee was great! The atmosphere was chill and we came in the morning which was not so busy. The waiter was kind. Apart from the coffee, we ordered some pastries: 1) Pumpkin Spice Roll was decend but honestly nothing crazy and 2) Almond Croissant had a filling that was disgusting. The prices were high and, although the coffee was good, the pastries left a lot to be desired.

Awesome atmosphere, professional service and good vibes in here. The music and the coffee matches with the new age frequency. All in all we had a great experience and started our day chilled & satisfied.

Quality, little to no wait, friendly and fast service. I got my daily morning matcha latte with coconut milk every morning on my 4 day trip. It was served perfectly every time; not burning hot or clumpy. Little seating inside but places to sit outside. I would recommend adjusting the lighting to take advantage of natural light and some lower eye level lighting for a nicer mood inside. 20 second walk down the street from Starbucks.. support local small business for better quality and lower prices!

Lovely coffee shop. I had an espresso and it was brewed perfectly. Not too spacious but the aesthetic and vibe more than makes up for it. 100% recommend!

Such a lovely seasonal menu! I really enjoyed the pumpkin spice latte, and my girlfriend had a flat white made with Brazil Patricia beans — both were delicious. The ginger shot and the Sebastien cheesecake were amazing too 🤍

Much better than the location on the other side of Charles bridge, but still far from being the best place in this very-packed specialty coffee area. Had a cortado from Colombian beans which was decent. Also got a bag to make at home, they have a nice variety.
