Easiest 5 star ever! How didn't I know about this place. I won a gift card to hear from the Harvest for Hope silent auction. Amazing to see this business support the local community and work to end hunger. This place is amazing! It has the best curry platters, generous portions, lots of adds ons included, great dessert options. The atmosphere is my style! Underground, low lighting, super laid back vibes. A nice bar. A hidden gem for sure. Service was above and beyond. Levi accommodated some special requests with ease and a smile. Super fast and competent service! Levi was great. We will be back 👍

Visited late at night, and this was the only place open after 10:30 pm! The spot has a lively fusion vibe, though the music might be a bit loud if you’re seeking a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the food didn’t disappoint. Definitely worth a visit—highly recommended!

I’ve always considered Mint a safe, inclusive space. However, my recent visit was deeply disappointing and hurtful. I arrived, ordered a drink, and noticed that as the bar got busier, patrons who arrived after me were served immediately while I was ignored( It wasn’t just a delay) —it literally felt deliberate, as the bartender who initially served me with friendliness seemed to disregard me completely as the night went on. I understand that busy nights can lead to delays, but this treatment felt different, especially seeing others served before me, despite arriving later. As someone who works in hospitality, I always appreciate the complexities of the industry, but this felt personal and unfair. This experience made me question whether I truly belong in a place I once felt at home. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and reflects on how they treat all their patrons, regardless of who they are.

Place has a fantastic vibe and love the live music at a reasonable price. I really loved Pablo Cardenas and his Latin funk band. We are so lucky have this level of talent in Victoria. Hope to see more live music here; hopefully Jazz and Blues. So luckly to have a great place for dancing and live music. The live venue should make more space for more people. Standing tables and rearranging the layout a bit to get more people in. Love the Indian food.

Just now ordered through uber eats not recommended at all. Chicken was burnt naan was no taste at all. Refer the pictures for your reference. Most of it went garbage. Momo was edible and tasty too.

Really nice place.. Maybe i need to check some other items in the menu.. But almost $50 for 1 beer and a cheese *** "nachos".. no thanks..

Google
My opinion of the food will be a little biased as I grew up eating authentic Indian food, but for the most part it’s a C-Plus and above. The service and atmosphere of this place is bar none of the best: accepting of all people, friendly, cordial, respectful and welcoming. Logan, the general manager is a gem of a human and being and ensures that all his guests are taken care of. Anytime, I’ve gone out this place has been my main go to. Namaste and I hope this place stays open in perpetuity.

Google
We came just for the food, however the ambiance did seem right for a few drinks if your looking for it. We tried the curries and cilantro sticky rice. The curries was more of and Indian style, and the sticky rice was not a traditional sticky rice, but more like a sushi sticky one. Overall taste was fairly good on both our orders.. food was fresh. Staff was friendly.

Yelp
It was yyj carefree day and my son and I were looking for a quick bite. We popped in downstairs Ordering was quick and food was on the table in 15 min. Decent size portions, good hot wings. Drinks were a bit slow showing up when we were nearly done but it was pretty crazy given the day events.

Yelp
Really bad experience. After dinner my son returned to get his wallet that was left at the table and as he politely asked the clients sitting there if they'd seen it the manager came and asked him to "get the hell out" of there. Expect this kind of service or go elsewhere.

Elizabeth R.

Yelp
Omg those veggie momos. Amazing. You need to try these. Total grudge fun vibe. Great tap beers

Masi G.

Yelp
Not like any other Asian food I had. It's like economy airplane food. Not sure what I just ate but it was warm and chewy. Requested plates and cutlery and confirmed that in the restaurant but when I got to the hotel there was NO plates or cutlery. I had to go to the other restaurant to get a fork and knife!!!!!

Yelp
We were looking for a place to eat dinner late Sunday night and The Mint popped up in our search. Holy crap, it's open till 2:00am every night! It's a bit hidden as it's down a flight of stairs but it's located right beside Taste of Europe. The inside is quite large when you take into consideration their venue space. There was a comedy roast going on ($10.00) which sounded entertaining. Loved the hanging lights as decor and candles at the table. Cute date night spot. They've got weekly specials (Sunday - Thursday). Sunday is select wines above cost (interesting description), shafts and platters. Happy hour is daily from 5:00-7:00pm. - Elderflower mojito ($6.75) - St. Germain, mint, lime and soda. Very minty. Elderflower was pretty subtle. - Charcuterie platter ($13.00 special) - normally, this is $18.00 but it was on special Sunday. Proscuitto, soppressato, aged Manchego, gherkins, crackers and bread. There's supposed to be a red onion jam and dried fruit in this platter but we didn't get any. Instead, we got some Dijon mustard. Platter was enjoyable but definitely overpriced. - Tibetan momos ($8.50) - hand rolled, made in house dumplings with tomato cilantro achar. We opted for the pork momos. These weren't what I was expecting but turned out to be tasty. They are smaller and deep fried but the filling was juicy and flavourful. Pricy for 6 dumplings. Decent spot and interesting that they serve some Nepalese/Himalayan dishes.

Yelp
We had table of 9.The server refused to write down our orders when we suggested he should.then when it was time to pay.they had an extra butter chicken and beer on the bill.it's a side scam the bartender Is running for large out of town tables when the bills get split up.the last person to pay is stuck with this dinner.everyone else I dined with that evening has a receipt for there meal. The guys a crook....

Yelp
I have lived in Victoria a long time and have always wanted to go to The Mint. Well, we chose to go Oct 12, 2015 (yes very old review, posted somewhere else and now here). The menu said Mango drinks were on for $8/drink and all proceeds go to the Earthquake Relief from earlier in the year. My friends and I thought that's a great idea since we wanted to have probably 3-4 drinks each and some food, so may as well have proceeds go to a good cause! Well, we walk down the stairs around 9pm and it's so loud you can't hear even someone yelling next to you, and we're just standing in the doorway, not near the speakers. Sign said please wait to be seated, so we waited. A lady sat us right next to the speakers and the door, so it was chilly and loud. We asked to be moved but she said the other tables required more than 2 people (they were further back and sat 4 people). Admittedly it was pretty busy, but I saw 4 tables open near the back where it was quieter! So we were disappointed and had to end up TEXTING each other to talk for the entire time we were there. I'm sorry but it's a RESTAURANT, not a nightclub. No music should be that loud. We asked for water when we sat down and both ordered a Mango Drink and Samosas to start. The waitress left our drinks sitting on the bar for over 15 mins, despite our best efforts to wave her down like a maniac cause it's not like she could HEAR us. She finally brought us the drinks and water at the same time. In total we waited 25 just for our drinks and just over an hour to get the samosas. The drink was terrible. It tastes NOTHING like mango, and was so strong with alcohol and some weird liquorice flavour that it numbed my mouth. We inquired with the waitress before hand and she said it was a sweet drink. This was not sweet at all. After waiting 15 more mins, finally waived her down and explained it tasted like pure alcohol and liquorice. She took them back and we got our new drinks right away. They tasted the exact same. I sent it back and told her we don't want them they're nothing like how she described, but told her to keep the two drinks on the bill. Finally our samosas arrived and just like the drinks they were overpowered with fennel and some other ingredient that should not be in samosas. They also tasted burnt. I get it's a fusion restaurant but my god it was absolutely terrible. That and the waitress must never have had the samosas or drinks because they tasted nothing like how she described. If you haven't tried it, don't lie, just say you're not sure! She took them back as well after we told her they weren't good and no we don't want anything else, just the bill. She just rolled her eyes at us and mumbled something. Didn't even try to apologize or anything. So now we have a massive headache, are still hungry, and annoyed and to top it off, they didn't give a discount for the samosas. We took one bite and sent it back. I was happy to pay the bill for the drinks though. All in all, customer service was complete SHIT, the food and drinks were terrible and the atmosphere was just as awful! We will never be going there again and I've told all of my friends and coworkers, so they've been avoiding it too. If I could give them 0 stars, I would!

Samantha L.

Yelp
I have been here several times, the service is always amazing, the cocktails are amazing, I love it all around. It is a place that I always make sure to visit every time I am in Victoria, and their hours make it all worth it! 10 out of 10 would come again

Sandie C.

Yelp
This place was definitely a hidden gem! The place was aromatic and smell so good! The happy hour was really good! And the food was so delicious!

Tee E.

Yelp
I had high hopes for this place. I really did. It looked good, it seemed fun, but horrible service and horrible food ruined what could have been a good experience. Eat somewhere else. I started off with the chili prawns, which were prawns with a red chili coconut garlic cream sauce. The best part about this dish was the fresh made bread. It was lightly salted, and was great at mopping up the sauce. The shrimp, while cleaned correctly, was overcooked and bordering on rubbery. The waitress dropped off my main (their house specialty butter chicken) while my mouth was full of my last bite of bread, so I couldn't mention anything to her about it. She also couldn't be bothered to refill my drink the whole time I was there. The butter chicken came with jasmin rice, red lentil daal (which is essentially spiced lentils, and mine was yellow) and aloo sandheko (which is a cold potato and veggie salad). First off, I feel they owe the chicken an apology for being wasted. No chicken deserves to have its life taken and used in such a terribly bland way. The waitress said they could do the butter chicken at medium, which is as hot as most people could tolerate. It was barely mild. The sauce itself was one dimensional, and the chicken was bland. The Aloo sandheko could have been tasty, however it was impossible to tell because of all the salt on it. I tried the lentils and spat them out. Disgusting. I don't know what they did to the rice, but it was as if they had cooked it, then left it in a hot pot, and it had dried and turned crunchy on the outside. How do you screw up rice. Waited for the waitress to swing by, she didn't bother to come check on me, or the food, or to pick up my other plate. Paid and left. It was just her and the cook there. No one to complain too. Would not go back, and would recommend everyone to stay away.

Yelp
Been ordering here almost daily since Covid 19. The staff are so friendly, food is the best take out available by far and always ready on time. More than happy to support An amazing local business! Thanks so much!!!

Kelsey C.

Yelp
Got the butter chicken poutine, literally the worst one i've ever had. Tasted like it had mexican flavours, didn't taste indian at all. So unsatisified , i always try new things but i wish i just ordered from Tikka bar instead. Even they're cheesecake was sub par, expensive and basic. Wont be ordering from here again.

Esther T.

Yelp
This place was so cute! Dimmed lights with strung up lights for the ambiance. The service was really great as well! My husband and I came during HH on accident, so they had single shot mojitos for $3, pints of beer for $6, and a handful of appetizers also for $6. (Their HH deals alternate per days of the week - we went on a Saturday.) We got the garlic prawns, which was AMAZING. Also got the chicken pakora, which had tons of flavor, and very tender chicken! The sauce had a small kick, but not too much. Then we shared the butter chicken entree. Thinking about it makes me want to go back! Everything was very flavorful except the pea soup-like substance. That was pretty bland. But overall, really good!

Kayla B.

Yelp
The lamb curry was great, was it worth the 20 some $ that they charge? No probably not. The portion of lamb was small and the rice portion was large. The butter chicken is the same, was really tasty, but not worth what they charge. Its nice they sell menu items until 2am when most restaurants sell appies only after 11.

Yelp
We went in for dessert last night. It was busy but with quite a few empty tables. We were seated in a noisy area so I asked if we could move to the quieter part. Our server was clearly annoyed by this request and said there were speakers everywhere, then shrugged and said he didn't care where we sat. We walked over to the quiet side (there was no music coming from speakers). He told us to sit at the closest table, which was by the kitchen entrance. I asked where the speakers were. He waved his hand in the general direction of the empty tables closer to the windows. There was no music and no visible speakers. We ordered. As our server was entering our order into the system I heard "we're 86 the churros" from the kitchen. I waited for him to come back and ask us to choose another dessert. We were about 5 feet away from him. 10 minutes later he came and told us that the kitchen just informed him they were out of churros. He rolled his eyes as if to say this is the incompetence he deals with daily. How annoying for him. We ordered the cheesecake instead. I had ordered the white chocolate raspberry gelato. Later he told us the kitchen scooped the wrong gelato and that's why there was a delay. We had ordered the white chocolate raspberry gelato. We received the cheesecake; it was nice. Our gelato came after. It was yummy but definitely not white chocolate raspberry. Our server then came and presented a plate with 2 churros and said the kitchen wanted us to have them on the house. This was kind but my churro was too chewy and tough to bite through. Several times our server asked how a dish was but walked away before we could answer. Throughout this experience we were both shocked and amused by our server's seeming deliberate disdain. We spoke of leaving an 86 cent tip but my boyfriend is too nice to do that. I've worked in enough kitchens to understand that items run out and that staff is often overworked, but it was our server's behaviour that made our experience at the Mint bad enough for me to take the time to write this review. The one star is for the decor. I loved the lights on the ceiling, as well as the sparkles in the steps going down from Douglas.

Elise D.

Yelp
Very disappointing visit here. The service was horrible and the food less than mediocre. The naan bread was literally the only good part. Very bummed that it had good reviews and I wastes time and money here. I say stay away.

Rose B.

Yelp
Came here with a large group this last weekend and they were very accommodating. Their cocktails are very good, I ordered two rounds of the Funkee Lotus drink - delicious! I'm not a huge curry fan so i ordered the Seafood Risotto. Admittedly i was nervous about this option because the restaurant touts an aisian fusion menu and i wasn't sure where seafood risotto fit in. It was a very good dish, i was pleasantly surprised! Overall a great experience. Good food, even better drink menu.

Gaddam C.

Yelp
Good place or a dinner date I can give 4.5 stars for their food quality. Bar tenders must improve their customer service skills .

Gary B.

Yelp
When to the mint a few evenings ago, the food was average I asked for naan bread and they gave me pitta bread. The service was slow would definitely not recommend this restaurant.

Wema M.

Yelp
The food was good. but they false advertise like no other! i went with my friend and we only ordered items on the menu that were marked gluten free. when the food comes, none of what was marked gluten free was actually gluten free. there was soy sauce in rice, Fries were fried with gluten products, and a dish came with bread. then we were being convinced that it would be fine to eat... even tho we just said that it was bad enough that it couldn't be touching

Albert C.

Yelp
Went for curry buffet, but The Mint should look up the definition of "buffet". A party or 20+ of us did the curry buffet, and to our disappointment they only had 3 dishes set up in the corner (rice, butter chicken and lentils/chick peas). To our surprise they don't top up food, and everyone was only able to have one round of food. The butter chicken was empty and the server comes by and covers up the food, to keep the chicken-less curry sauce warm I guess. It's no surprise that about 4-5 of us did not get any butter chicken at all. The Mint refused to cooperate and offered a solution, 35$ for 10 pieces of extra chicken? Apparently each person was only supposed to have two pieces of chicken of varying sizes and that's all they gave (so if some people grabbed extra I guess you're SOL for the single dish non-top up buffet). Keep in mind, we were not told this in advance. This sure the way to keep customers coming back. If you ask me, 3 dishes of food was not worth the price of about $400 for the whole group. We would've been better off ordering items individually off the menu. A disappointment indeed, they lost many customers.

Marçel S.

Yelp
Understaffed wasn't able to serve us within 20 minutes of sitting down. Waitress was rude when we asked for an ETA. To be fair it was near closing, but that shouldn't affect quality of service. Wish I got to try the food for a more fair review.

Nat R.

Yelp
Super gorgeous atmosphere in here. I loved the dimly lit restaurant with overhead lights, well placed wall hangings and soft candle light. This is a wonderful date spot if you are looking for a quiet and intimate venue. Service was good, they had great drink specials and were knowledgeable about the food. I had a Melon Ball Martini that was very well made. We ordered momo's (dumplings) and ginger lime sticky rice and peanut tofu, both were delectable. My partner is from India and mentioned that the momo's they were the most similar he'd had to what he could buy back home. The server mentioned that the owners are from Nepal and that the wife is the only one that makes them, as she is the only one who can make them to a such a high quality. We were really impressed. I really liked the sticky rice and peanut sauce, it was very flavorful. The tofu was incredibly good, some of the most well cooked and seasoned I've had. Go to the restaurant if you want some good drinks and fantastic food on an intimate night out. It's highly worth it.

Mike D.

Yelp
Excellent low light atmosphere, got introduced to primms and friendly staff but food was.... not up to the service level. The momos taste and looked overcooked and fries were just... there. This is the perfect place for a first date because as we all know mood lighting is CRUCIAL. I REALLY wanted to love this place but after apps we left.

Samantha G.

Yelp
Everyone I talk to seems to love it. The place is nice and drinks should be good but I haven't liked any of them in particular and found both my meal and my bf's meal to be just okay. I would def give The Mint another try though

Jeff N.

Yelp
I went here with my wife after it was suggested by a local working in the currency exchange across the street. This place gets five stars for ambiance--design, lighting, service, and music were all first rate. The place had some kind of funky repurposed industrial stainless steel stove as the unshakeable resting place for the deejay tables. Menu has some creative combinations. I thought the samosas were excellent, perfectly fried and tastefully presented. Can't say I'm a huge fan of the fig, goat cheese and mango chutney naan pizza I ordered, but it certainly was both creative and memorable. We visited around eight so we pretty much had the place to ourselves. I can't speak to the after ten crowd which I think the place is targeted toward. If I'm in Victoria again I will definitely return.

Dave D.

Yelp
Easily one of my fav little tucked-away-ine-the-middle-of-it-all locations in Victoria. Great food, fantastic specials and love the Wednesday comedy nights. :)

Pam S.

Yelp
I should really start writing reviews before I start drinking, because if I only remember the hangover, I may have a less stellar memory of the place. In any case, we came here on a...night (Friday, I think) after dinner. Our friends had already gotten some good realty, so we joined. They had also gotten a bottle of wine even though they were all drinking beer...weird. In any case, having wine plus tasty nibbles plus good friends plus Canadian boyfriend = win. This seems like a good place to gather with a group of friends OR cuddle on a couch for a date. Either way, I think that you'll find stellar service. And possibly a hangover.

Erin M.

Yelp
One of the only spots in Victoria that's open late. The atmosphere is cool with a glitter staircase and white fairy lights. The drink specials are worth your while - on Sundays it's half priced cheese plates and wines with almost no mark-up. First choice place to sit is at the bar because Keegan is awesome. He's always happy to show us something new, pull bottles down so we can look at what he used to make our cocktails.

Hikaru N.

Yelp
When I come to Victoria it is usually with friends and inevitably we always end up drinking too much. This presents a problem since we are always in need of some late night food. This past Tuesday night we came here at about 10:30PM and were immediately told that it would take an hour for our food to arrive. Not a good start. As usual the drinks are always good and I resorted to drinking endless caesars just so that I could eat some celery and olives... I mean come on, I need some food! The pizza's were pretty decent, but nothing particularly special. The food and drinks are always about average, but my biggest personal pet peeve is the dark lighting in this joint. Half the time I have to use my cell phone as a light to read the menu properly which is just annoying. This place reminds me of a restaurant/bar which you once though was the coolest thing ever only to realize with every passing experience that you wish it could be like that once again.

Shruti N.

Yelp
My family is visiting Victoria and staying at nearby Hotel Rialto. We wandered into Mint on a whim and I'm so glad we did! The atmosphere was romantic (love the string lights on the ceiling) and the service was great. We really enjoyed our food -- we got a bottle of wine and some appetizers. I loved the chicken momos, chicken naan pizza and prawns. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to visitors and locals alike!

David L.

Yelp
Yuck. I came in hungry and ate everything, but the main dishes didn't taste very good. It seemed to be very crowded with a hip vibe and a live DJ, so maybe the drinks were what brought the crowd in.

Robin H.

Yelp
Checked this place out on a Wednesday night for comedy night. Some were comics were funny others were not, but was a fun different night overall. The service is AWESOME during the show! You can order food and drinks during the entire show

Nadir M.

Yelp
Great restaurant and atmosphere. I went on a Saturday night and was pleasantly surprised by the vibe: younger, buzzing. The lamb curry was one of the best I've had so I would certainly recommend that. Their rice is also really good. The naan is a little pita like so I don't think it's worth the extra $1.50 for it unless you're okay with white bread. I will certainly be back for more.

Jiayi L.

Yelp
Exciting fusion - loved our pork Momos, peanuts, and the Butter Chicken poutine. (Though I wished there were more fries). The waitress was very friendly but forgot that we requested to have the cheese separately plated for the poutine, and she dropped the drink for a guest on another table.

Lea H.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I went to happy hour (5-7pm) and were surprised with how much we liked this place! I got a $7 double mojito and he got a $5.50 20oz pint of beer. We got the "Butter Chicken Naan Pizza" and I thought it was AMAZING ($7). It's a small snack for two people, but would have been a good amount for me. Not a normal size pizza- 4 small pieces. But SO GOOD. I loved it! Our server was very nice too! I would recommend this place for $4 single mojitos and $7 double mojitos, and for $7 appetizers during happy hour. Nice atmosphere- dark with speakeasy type vibes and string lights, etc.

Melissa R.

Yelp
My review is long overdue and is only for my experience at The Mint, not for the food, as I only came here for drinks one night. The drinks were great and the people I met were amazing. The Mint will always hold a special place in my heart. I absolutely loved having gone there that night.

Sheryl D.

Yelp
If management had given me a loyalty punch card for every time I've been there, I'd so be on the VIP list. I vividly remember several drunken birthdays being celebrated there with college friends, random dinners with friends before going to Cineplex Odeon on Yates, hanging out with out-of-town-guests, lots of great memories for sure, including one time when a homeless man was peeing at the top of the stairs as we were ascending, our bellies full of butter chicken, lamb curry and momo balls. He smelled like pea puree for some reason, no pun intended. God, do I miss the hobos in along Pandora and Johnson. The hobos in Vancouver just don't have that lovable factor that the Island homeless do. Still one of my favorite joints in Victoria. It's always reminded me of late night underground restaurants in Toronto where it's perfectly acceptable to gorge on a full meal at 1 in the morning. (Note: They serve food only until midnight then it's drinks from then on.) Particularly in a place like Victoria, where restaurants are often closed at 9PM. Needless to say, their bartenders know their stuff, especially for their signature mint drinks. Most affordable drinks in town for me, for the quality you're getting, with an excellent DJ to boot (on select nights). If you're in town, I suggest enjoying the weekend lounge scene at the Mint. Chill out with the DJ, revel with the smartly dressed people as you leisurely sip on your favorite martini. If you are looking for a hippie/vegan vibe, you're at the wrong place, not for lack of trying though. Their hybrid Tibetan/Indian cuisine tends to attract hippie colonies but for me, it's more an unpretentious yuppie atmosphere to eat, drink and be merry.

Jesse H.

Yelp
Literally the worst service I've ever had in my life. Server switched out halfway through her shift and assumed we wouldn't tip. Treated us like garbage the whole time. Would never suggest this place to anyone.

Stacey C.

Yelp
Most will agree this is the only appropriate location to adjourn your evening debauchery to for some high quality tasty Nepal inspired fusion food. The decor is reasonably classy and the drink menu is quite good. The service is often touch and go but the food usually delivers. The music is often a blend of re-hashed late 90s house - I sure hope someone is looking into it.

Wayne T.

Yelp
We were a bit disappointed.. the Wings , Thai Style, were delicious however the Main's were 3 Star maximum.. I had the Seafood Red Curry with very little and disappointing seafood... We would only come back for the Wings..

Beth C.

Yelp
Had a friend from out of town staying with us recently, and we took her to The Mint for dinner. We had cocktails, and everyone was happy with their choice. The three of us shared a bunch of small plates - a butter chicken pizza (fantastic), a pesto pizza (pretty good), potato and spinach momos (pretty good), prawn cakes (delicious), a three-dip plate (not enough bread/crackers for the amount of olives/dips, but tasty), and something else I'm forgetting. Oh, samosas. They were dece,t but probably the least memorable of our choices. The food was all well-prepared and tastes fresh, with good flavour and seasoning and felt creative and well-finished. Our waitress was pretty unsmiling, but was available and helpful, which I guess is more important anyway, and she knew her stuff when we had questions about the menu. The DJ came on about a half hour before we left, and we enjoyed the level and selection of music a lot - it added to the experience rather than drowning it out. My only real complaint is that there is "ambiance dark" and then there is "we had to feel our way to the table and get extra candles to see the menu" dark, and this was the latter. A bit silly. Overall great, and I'll be back to try more of their offerings (I have my eye on the lamb curry).

Yelp
Hi, Came to Victoria for a business trip. I looked up a place in Yelp and The Mint had 4,5 stars. I had a friend and her 2-year-old child. The nice waitress met us at the back alley to help with the stroller ( the front stairs were high for a stroller). We ordered the trio dip which had olives , hummus and Bruschetta with bread and crackers and all tasted great. In addition, we ordered butter chicken came with rice and potatoes. The atmosphere was nice -despite having a 2- year-old !! All and all everything was great.

Seren M.

Yelp
The atmosphere is great and the food is wonderful. My friend ordered a drink that wasn't on the menu- they had never heard of it, but still made it based on her description of ingredients, and they knocked it out of the park! Great for connecting with friends over small platters. Feels as comfortable as a friend's living room but upscale enough to make the experience worthwhile. Looking forward to my next visit!

Yelp
Great name. Great yelp reviews. I had nothing to lose. Unfortunately, the mint did not meet my expectations. I was looking forward to a good dinner considering its Himalayan/Napolese. The menu was terribly formatted with one confusing long list of dishes that don't at all represent the type of cuisine they're going for. Why the hell is pizza on there?! My friend and I waited for 45 minutes for a curry that was spread out on a silver dish that included steamed spinach, cold potatoes, and a dish of salsa. The food was bland, and poorly executed. This is the kicker though: I ordered a whiskey sour to drink. A very simple drink that does not need any fluff. What I got was a sweet frothy mess, and worst of all, it was $11!! I ordered two, not knowing at all that my drinks were going to end up costing me more than my dinner. All of the servers are in street clothes so you can't figure out who works there, and when you do, you're completely disappointed with their attentiveness and lackluster service. The place gets so loud that you are screaming across the table for someone to hear you. Do yourself a favor and go try another one of Victoria's many gems for dinner.

Yelp
What a delicious experience! This place absolutely exceeded my expectations, and all the mint cocktails were on special that night - not sure it could have gone better. The palak paneer is of the gods, seriously.

Yelp
I went there last year. It is located in DT Victoria. The atmosphere is good, it is a good place to eat with friends. The Lamp is sooo yummy!

Yelp
Nice atmosphere! Accommodating menu for many. Great place to come with a group of friends. It closes late! It can get pretty loud at times.
