The Mirror (Barcelona, Catalonia) 8 Hotel Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"No one could accuse The Mirror Barcelona of false advertising. With an interior aesthetic devoted to all things glass and reflective, and a radiant whiteness to the furniture and décor that borders on obsessive, this ultra-modern boutique gives off a positively Kubrickian vibe. While this brand of cutting-edge crispness often comes across as overly serious, The Mirror serves up its avant-garde leanings with a wink. Futurism dominates here, but it’s anything but grim, and leavened with a healthy dose of retro accents and mod furniture." - Tablet Hotels

Due to a hotel booking mix-up with suppliers, Jet2 fully relocated us to this hotel! So glad we stayed here, they welcomed us at 9pm with a smile despite our last minute arrival and possibly our tired, fed-up faces . It is a beautiful boutique style hotel and smells amazing as you walked in and was visually stunning with mirrors, glass elevators, and unusual full-size artwork figures adorning the walls. The staff are lovely, smiley and helpful. We had room 756, with a beautiful large balcony, the room had robes, slippers and toiletries in it. Breakfast served from 7-11am was amazing, omelettes cooked on request, a wide variety of fruit, continental style hams and cheeses. The views from floor 7 was stunning especially at sunrise and sunset. It had the usual street noise but you are in a city and to be expected, however, the balcony doors are pretty soundproof, so there's no issue. Overall, we would stay again. Thank you Hotel Arconte (was renamed from MirrorMirror)

We did a 2 night stop over after a cruise. We were just looking for somewhere to chill for a few days before going home. The staff were really amazing and nothing was too much for them. They were really friendly & welcoming. The hotel was good, clean & comfortable. There’s a small pool on the roof which was nice to chill at whilst waiting for our flight home. Beds were also comfortable. A good hotel within walking distance to everything.

This hotel is very friendly, very clean and so peaceful. It's in a fabulous location and offers a wonderful breakfast variety. We loved the roof top pool and sauna, sat up there with cocktails and lucky enough to have it to ourselves, very relaxing. The room was very clean and spacious and the bed so comfortable. Coffee machine in the room which was lovely, only fault we could possibly find was we don't feel you should be charged for water, complementary bottles ,even just on arrival would be nice especially when you check in late. Would highly recommend the mirror.

Excellent location at Diagonal, 6 mins walk to nearest metro. High street just a corner away. Surrounded by nice tapas restaurants. Convenient area but not noisy at all. Very friendly staff and good service. Rooms are big and clean with amenities such as dental kit, slippers and Rituals shower set provided. Will recommend!

A really good location and a very stylish hotel. Room was very large and bed was very comfortable. There were some maintenance issues with some of the furniture (drawers broken etc) but these were minimal and did not impact on my stay but at these prices, maintenance should be excellent. The hotel is very bright, very modern and perfect for the Rambla/Diagonal and Gracia areas.

Excellent location at Diagonal, just a 6-minute walk to the nearest metro station and surrounded by restaurants and convenience store. The room is well-equipped with thoughtful amenities like a dental kit and slippers. However, the shower had an issue with recurring fluctuations between hot and cold water. I had to time the cold water bursts and avoid them for about 2 seconds before continuing. Despite this, it was a pleasant stay overall!

I stayed here for a single night. Super nice design and perfect location. The service was outstanding (I was able to do early check-in as I arrived super jetlagged and tired from the flight). The rooms are spacious and they have a very nice decoration. Note: I believe it is an adults-only hotel and yet I woke up because of the kid brought by the room service (shouting and speaking loudly). Apart from this noise isolation problem, everything else was perfect.

Starting with positives: fantastic location, in a great area and very walkable, with good transport links. Great staff, friendly and welcoming - I agree with all other reviews that mention the same. Rooms: well... Interesting ;) I stayed there a week, it was good size, bit with a bit weird layout. Be ready to be very intimate with whoever you share the room with, as there's no bathroom per se, just direct doors to the toilet (facing the bed) and to the shower. The room was serviced daily, regardless if we put "do not disturb" on or not. Not a big issue for us, just a bit unnecessary. Mind you, we were never disturbed when in the room, which is great. The room was rather clean, but definitely in a need of some repair (drawers were flimsy at best, light switches very temperamental). Fellow tea lovers - be aware there's no kettle, just a capsule coffee machine. Very good coffee, but we mostly got decaf capsules. Again, not an issue for us. There's a tiny but nice roof tarace, small swimming pool and sauna - haven't used those, so can't say much more. The rooms have great blackout curtains, effective a/c and are well sound proofed (you can sometimes hear other doors opening and closing, but nothing else). The bed was very comfy, one of the best I've ever slept on.
