We stayed 11 Jan for 2 nights and loved it so much booked an extra night, couldn’t bring ourselves to go home. From the moment we were greeted by Tom the manager we knew we had made the right choice coming to Mitchelton estate. We found the restaurants amazing, and the breakfasts, well done to everyone involved. Thanks to all of the friendly professional staff along with the standard the house keeping staff maintained our room. The hub of the place was certainly the impressive pool area which had a bar and a great vibe. I might add that Sancho, one of the managers was a stand out for me. He went over and above for us, and it was much appreciated. We loved the overall experience that much we have booked rooms for 2 nights later this month for 5 of us to return and celebrate our daughter’s 21st birthday. Well done Mitchelton, you’ve won us over 😊 Kind regards Simon and Karen

Spent a few days after Christmas in Mitchelton hotel, a luxury boutique hotel on the bank of Goulburn River. This large property is spectacular, very quiet and peaceful, lovely to wake up to birds chirping, green vines, native bushland as far as your eyes can see, you are instantly relaxed as soon as you drive into the property. ||||The hotel itself is modern and contemporary, room is good size with a private balcony, comfortable bed, pillow menu, JBL speaker, a Day Spa on site has definitely added a touch of luxury, lovely cellar door for wine tasting or simply just have a glass of wine with a cheese board. However, the expresso coffee machine in the room is not the best, drips out a very small amount of lukewarm coffee, taste terrible, we ended up bought a few coffee bags from the local IGA, so we can have a coffee in our room at nighttime when the cafe and restaurant is closed. ||||Staff are very friendly and efficient; we had a lovely stay, very relaxed few days just as we needed.

Exceptional Hospitality at Mitchelton winery]! I had the pleasure of visiting michelton winery recently, and I was truly impressed by the outstanding hospitality of the staff. From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Their warmth and attentiveness made the experience even more enjoyable. Stayed in cabin section so peaceful and nice. Rooms super luxury and clean. The team was incredibly accommodating, ensuring that our tasting was tailored to our preferences and taking the time to answer all our questions with enthusiasm and expertise. They were patient, friendly, and genuinely passionate about their wines, which made the visit both educational and memorable. It’s rare to find such a perfect combination of great service and fantastic wine, but [Winery Name] delivers on both. I highly recommend a visit for anyone looking for an exceptional winery experience. I can’t wait to return! In addition to that complimentary sour drinks and water as well as a few snack! I have been around a lot but never had the experience of getting snack and drinks on the house. Wine testing was also great and reasonably priced. The only down side was the food ! Breakfast below average ! I have three cheese omelette absolutely not flavour ! Coffee was ok Poached and toast $18!! Over priced for sure ! The Resturant there is very classy well designed and nice people ! However the food lacks favour and seasoning ! Tried their chicken dish and finish both so tasteless not a pinch of salt in there !

We received a voucher to stay at Michelton Winery Hotel as a wedding present. As this is on the pricier side we likely would not have come here without the voucher, however wow are we glad we did and boy is it worth the money.||The property itself is beautiful with stunning minimalist design and warm and friendly staff. It’s the kind of place you can spend your whole weekend at the hotel and be entertained or explore the nearby township and local wineries and be just as happy.||From the moment we walked in and were given a welcome glass of their own Shiraz by the fire we knew we were in for a relaxing stay. ||The room is spacious, beds comfortable and has all the amenities required for a comfortable stay. |The pool setting looked beautiful but being winter and not being heated we were unable to use. It would be nice to have a spa or sauna option to allow you to use this stunning setting in the cooler months.||There are two restaurants (one breakfast lunch and one lunch dinner) on the property and we were both impressed with the quality of the food. Staff remembered us here and always gave us our favourite table which was a nice touch. Happy hours are available and the bar at the sky tower opens of the night for a beautiful view and setting for a pre dinner drink or night cap, watch the wildlife and enjoy the sunset! ||Whilst we would not have checked this hotel out due to the higher price, having stayed here we can appreciate the value and will hopefully return and most definitely recommend to friends and family.

This is a lovely hotel and winery. The staff are brilliant and the rooms amazing but maybe don’t have the pool filter and the big flood lights running all the time. You are in nature so it’s nice to enjoy nature. Great place for breakfast and walks around the river. Lovely wine tasting as well. Just sort out the pool filter. Oh and the viewing deck, bar and art gallery is impressive too!

Would recommend treating yourself to a stay here if you are in the area. Visited on a three day trip for family birthday - nice peaceful location, great rooms, a walking track and a pool (did not use the gym) - the two restaurants are amazing and you can enjoy a stress free time here. Good location for visiting surrounding towns - and you can enjoy the Silo Art Tour - where artists have created huge canvases on the grain silos in the area...

We were allocated a quiet room, as requested, that had a river view. Reception staff were friendly with the welcome glass of wine a lovely touch. Considering the cost per night, we expected a higher level of decor in the room and quality and size of ensuite.

What a welcoming experience with a sparkling rose` on arrival. A brief description from the desk staff of hotel facilities. \We enjoyed a morning swim and a gym workout with the nature walk along the river. We did enjoy the day spa and the morning coffee and pastry. The weather wasn't the best so we made the best out of what the facilities had to offer.
